12 hour delay between chicago to Florida

I have been at O'Hare airport since before 9 am today to be on a flight from ORD TO PBI originally supposed to leave on UA2342 at 10:43, which rolled about four times, and was eventually canceled. UA agent didn't reach out to rebook me, but I had to do it myself, and I've managed myself to be on UA 1400, which was supposed to 4:18, which has not left as of now at 7:27 CST. They are full of crap about delay on weather because other flights were leaving in few hours but you poorly managed the aircraft allocation due to your incompetence. They finally boarded us with even more delay, then with tarmac issues, AND to top it off, flight crew time expired and have to wait passed 8pm. I’ve been at the airport for 12 HOURS AND STILL HAVE NOT FLOWN. They have not only wasted a full day of my short vacation that I had been looking for for months AFTER TRAVELLING WITH UNITED FOR STRAIGHT 3 weeks on business, but also wasted a whole day of paid vacation.They should be entitled to refund me the salary I could have made due to their incompetence. I have been a courtesy customer for United to about 20 years and I am ready to pull a plug with their nonsense.

I had a 45 minute layover in Denver and my bags made the flight! I was impressed. I have never had a complaint against them. When I had to rebook it was a smooth process

Never on time arriving or departing YOW.

What went wrong this time and every time. Not once over the last 2 years has United been able to arrive or depart on time at YOW. Their system says you can make your connection but never take into account the 15 minutes to get off the plane. It's more convenient to drive 3 hours to Toronto to not get rebooked

One of the Best Airlines in the US!

I believe the actual website is United dot com.I’m a Premier Platinum member and have used those benefits to the full extent - upgrades, additional baggage, and all. The one time my flight was canceled, it was easy to rebook another flight on the app and when I complained they issued credits. Probably as a non-status it’s not as great of an experience, but I’ve liked flying with them so far. Tried the Polaris a few times too and it was great - so comfortable I slept almost the entire time.

sloppy cabin crew

Terrible cramped cabin and sloppy cabin crew, who acted more as if they were working in a prison camp, handing out without a smile on their face their disgusting food. I will never fly long haul with United again. I flew Newark Frankfurt .

Over head room wt.

Gate against tell every one to place their bags side was and that there was adequate room for all only to board the plan and have sassy ass flight attended complain people were having to open the closed over head storage to accomodate their carry on luggage and threaten that if there was not space it would have to be checked at the gate.

UNITED AIRLINES STRANDED A MOTHER AND THREE CHILDREN IN SAN JUAN

I called United’s reservation line while driving to the airport because we were stuck behind a serious car accident that caused over 40 minutes of unexpected delay. My plan was to arrive 90 minutes early. I was being proactive.I explained everything clearly.Ben at the United reservation line told me, “It’s domestic, don’t worry — you’ll be fine.”Because of that reassurance, we returned our rental car and proceeded to the airport.We arrived five minutes past the 45-minute cutoff. Five minutes.Instead of acknowledging the misinformation their agent gave us, United refused to help in any meaningful way. By the time another representative suggested “looking at other options,” it was already 6 PM — and the remaining flights were gone.So let me spell this out:A mother with a 3-year-old, a 5-year-old, and a teenager was left stranded in a city — after following the guidance of a United employee — because he casually said, “You’ll be fine.”Then, to make it worse, a representative began focusing on how much money I would lose if I didn’t immediately rebook.This is not about the policy.This is about poor guidance, lack of accountability, and zero compassion.If we had been told honestly that we were cutting it close, we would have: • Kept our rental car• Made safer backup arrangements• Booked alternative flights before they sold outInstead, we were misled.When you travel with small children, information matters. Timing matters. Accountability matters.United failed on all three.Families deserve better.

Never had a bad experience with United

Never had a bad experience with United! Whenever there is a delay or cancellation I have been able to rebook or change my flight quickly. Staff are always respectful and quick to help.

United Airlines horrible

Outgoing flight was delayed by 4hrs in DC enroute Lagos. Lagos to Washington flight was cancelled after over 9hours at the airport with no refreshments given at all. We were rebooked on a flight leaving 2 days later with an additional stop all the way in Chicago when our final destination is Philadelphia. To make matters worse, we were downgraded from Premium economy which we paid for because my parents are seniors and my dad is sick and despite all explanations, your agents said they could not change the seats even for my parents. My dad has to miss critical tests in preparation for his treatments based on all of this and we are SO DISAPPOINTED! First time flying United, NEVER AGAIN!

GSP United Employees are Horrible

I fly 60 plus flights with other airlines each year. My wife had to fly United out of GSP to Africa. The United ticking agent are the rudest most unappreciative people I have ever seen. Saying things like "You need to come on up the counter now I need to go on break" , measuring bags and holding the ruler 5 inches past the end of the bag and saying it over sized. No respect for any person that was in the line. United must be hard up for help. Glad I fly Delta. Carole and Nicole should be fired. I have never seen anyone treaded like that in my 30 years of flying.

Terrible online service.

Terrible online service.. They put a price an as you go on everything is charge for more. Ticket price +bag +seat +insurance. +cancelation fee +delay... Terrible service.. Consider making traveling a fun experience not a fraud. Or terrible experience

Never use United

Never use United. Stranded us in Denver. Didn’t pay for hotel. Then next day when got to automation they lost my luggage. Worst airline ever.

We used to love United Airlines and…

We used to love United Airlines and then covid happened and United used it as an excuse to provide shit service. We spend $10,000-$30,000 per month on the United club business card and we will not be using it anymore. The customer service is garbage, the reps give inaccurate information and they simply do not care about your business. We will be using our remaining 700,000 miles asap and starting to use Capital One Venture for business card instead. United has definitely done down the drain.

Dystopian Dinner

DysropiaBought a meal in flight. Was then told there was no cutlery. Asked how I was supposed to eat it and the waitress (that's all they are) shrugged her shoulders. I then asked a waitress in first class for a fork and well, you know the answer. I finally took the overcooked meal back and asked for a refund. Five minutes later the meal returned with a plastic fork. By then the meal was cold. I'm not only done with United. I'll not fly again. They are cattle cars.

Will never fly this airline again

Will never fly this airline again They said my tiny roll on could be carried on when it was one carry on. The worst customer experience I have ever experienced. I moved to Delta bc of my last experience and found myself having to fly this airline last minute and will NEVER make that mistake again. I have a tiny roll on. I have repeatedly been told by airline agents, “then don’t book basic economy” — what does that mean? It says I can take a carry on. It is compliant — very small roll on. Will never ever fly this airline in my life. I now see why the ratings are 1 star and Garry Conzo in Boston is rude and should not be working as a CSA! I have been utterly humiliated after a long weekend traveling bc I refused to pay $40 when I got to the counter and he said I couldn’t take my bag on. I said he could check it but I would definitely not be charged. I am staring at another customer whose bag is the same size and he is boarding. This airline is horrible. They offer last minute basic economy flights and then blame you for paying that price! You have been warned. Fly Delta or JetBlue. The prices may not always be as cheap but WOW I will NEVER ever be treated this poorly again. The flight attendants always thank you flying saying “we know you have a choice” well we do. And I will never choose United Airlines again! To add insult to injury — we have all boarded only to be told there are no pilots yet after sitting here for a half hour. And now we are delayed another 20 minutes.
