This moving company should not be allowed to do business
I had a large long-distance move scheduled with these movers. They gave me low quote of less than 9000 dollars, but once they showed up (that too, a full 2 days and 11 hours late) at 9 at night, the first thing the mover guy did was to look at my stuff and told me that they would need a whole large truck for my stuff and it would cost me $18,000. They already took a "non-refundable" deposit from me, so I had no way to reschedule or go with another mover. The owner of this company is the rudest person I have ever talked to and he wanted to deliver my belongings at midnight, or charge me another $500 fee. This company is a complete scam - you have been warned. And I am very sure all the positive reviews are left by employees of the company and are totally fake.

BE AWARE of this company!
BE AWARE of this company! When I decided to move with them, they had a very high ranking on google, so I thought, what could go wrong? These reviews must either be fake, or perhaps something changed in the management of this company, because this company is anything but good, and very non-professional!Bottom line: this move cost me extra 600$ above my agreement with US Interstate, and more importantly, a lot of stress, arguments, anxiety and white hair. Don't move with them!We got to an agreement with US Interstate on a price and delivery date. When the driver arrived, he started negotiating the price again, asking for a much higher rate, and this is despite the fact that the actual volume of our stuff was similar to what we agreed. First the mover said he is not part of US interstate, but a different company (EZy move), he said that he doesn't know who is US interstate, and doesn't respect any agreement with them.He started telling me how long of a drive this is, how difficult it is to load/unload everything and asked for more money than what we agreed with US interstate. I insisted, and he was trying to frighten me and my wife by saying that this is peak season and that he can easily just abandon this job and find another job instead if we don't negotiate with him. Then he said that the delivery date would be up to 21 business days. I said this is crazy, as in US interstate I was told that this should take a few days, and at most one week. He said they can do it faster but it will then cost more (even more!).So, on the day of the move, I had to go back and fourth with US interstate on the phone, to try and settle this conflict. To my surprise, US interstate did not take responsibility for what we agreed, and were trying to convince me that the mover is right. This all occurred after the movers already loaded the truck (I was trying to talk to the movers before, but all the time they were saying "don't worry, it'll be alright, we'll take care of you, etc etc."), very late in the evening, around 10pm, when our family (my wife, my two small kids, and I) were already exhausted, so in the end we agreed to negotiate, and paid extra 600$, above the original agreement. The contract was all a mess, and the movers filled it with many errors (later the moving company made corrections and fixed the contract). Also, till the last moment, it wasn't clear when should the things arrive. With all that happened I did not trust this company anymore and wasn't sure whether I am going to get my stuff, or whether this is all a scam. Fortunately, in the end, the stuff was delivered.

Moved June 30th got my stuff today July…
THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THIS! First thing this is NOT A MOVING COMPANY! This is a BROKER! They will have no control over your move once they assign you a mover. They have NO control once your stuff is picked up… I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU FIND A MOVER THAT YOU CAN WORK DIRECTLY WITH and not USE ANY BROKER(We will see how they handle this complaint)That being said let me explain my experience. I get a call from one of there representatives trying to sell me on their moving company. We go over our inventory and the milage from San Diego to Corpus Christi Texas. We explain that our stuff is at 3 locations. And will need 3 stops. I explain i have an 80” tv that I'm worried about and was one of the reasons we chose a moving company to male sure it was covered by insurance and moved carefully. The representative assures us that it will be taken care of. He says “How low do I have to get it to get you to sign the paper today!” Should’ve been my first red flag right there. I told him 4500 is the most i can spend. He gets it to $4555 we agree…I tell him I think I’m gonna sell a couple of my dressers and we might add an extra couch so let’s adjust the price no it’ll be just fine you can do that when they call you up before the move to verify. They informed me they want 1/3 of the money upfront right then. So we give them a check that they cash immediately. $1518. Hooked me, hook line and sinker right there. A couple months go by before the move and during that time we decide we’re not going all the way to corpus we’re going 150 miles closer to San Antonio. We also eliminate the multiple stops by moving everything to one staging area to help reduce the cost. We sell two dressers a full size captain bed. And one of the coffee tables. However we added a couch. Day before move We get a call from the company to go over the final inventory and explain to them what we had sold and the couch that we added. He informed us that that was going to be 800 more dollars. However we also informed them that we staged everything and we only have one stop now which they charge is $400 for three stops. They would not deduct that, nor did they take a new account they were going 150 miles closer which effects the Gas fee. He refuses to send a truck out until we pay him $400 for the initial $1555 that we sent him so it went up to $1955. Then the movers that got there wanted $2192 because the movers added a 200 Dollar shuttle fee because they can’t bring a 18 wheeler into the neighborhood. Not because they can’t but because they don’t have a license to drive into a neighborhood with an 18 wheeler. So I don’t know why I had to pay $200 for them not having a license $200 that I wasn’t told about, at this point you can’t cancel the move because you’ve already given them a nonrefundable 1555.00 so you’re stuck. The truck pulls up. They start loading our stuff and they tell us that there’s more than. 670 ft.³ which we were allowed. And it it’s gonna be six dollars a cubic foot for everything over that. Even though everything was on the inventory list. We ended up having to leave a bunch of our stuff. Which is upcoming out of deposit because we needed to get on the road and we had to leave it at the apartment the landlord is going to take it out of the deposit for hauling it off. Not to mention we were under the pressure of deciding what to take and what not to take of our possessions. A really messed up situation that could’ve been avoided if I would’ve used a real mover and not a broker. We explain to the driver that we had an 80 inch television we wanted protected he said we can’t protect it unless we wrap it ourselves so we let them wrap it. 85.00 per item Mentioning nothing about insurance which we thought was covered when we talk to the broker. We’re on the road driving across the country and I start reading different things about their insurance and found out they only insure you for $.60 a pound per item so an 80 inch flatscreen television weighs 150 pounds, I realize I got $90 insurance on my 80 inch flatscreen televisions…. So I call the company nothing you can do, in one of those thousands of papers they had you sign was something about the insurance of $.60 a pound per item. Mind you on moving day you’re hustling around trying to get stuff ready dealing with truck drivers getting stuff loaded trying to figure out what’s going and what’s not going because they under estimated The room that we had. the driver saying sign this, nitial hear sign this, sign this initial hear and sign this. The driver says when do you need your stuff there by I say July 10… Our stuff gets here july 18 they won’t move it in until we give them another 2196. Once unload the boxes are all smashed, tv box smashed but luckily works. 2000 more then expected. Never again!!! Left us short on living cash while looking for jobs…$100 Left w/ no income. Even a small refund would help. seriously struggling now.. thank u

Long story short this is their process:
Long story short this is their process:1- they misrepresent themselves as movers2- charge you (over 4000$ Just to connect you with actual moving company) and make nonsense promises3- you have to deal with moving company that you could deal yourself without them in between and pay them thousands $4- pay for extra surprise charges of that moving company (150$ for each bulky item including ANY furniture)5- pay the moving company and wait for them to finally send your stuff after weeksThey are a fraud and scam company. They represent themselves as moving company that have their own trucks and men while they are brokers and just charge you money to connect you with moving company who has their own policies and charges and once they get money from you they vanish… no customer service, they don’t keep their promises. Told us the move is going to take a week but took over 6 weeks to receive our stuff. Also said they will send 26 foot truck for us and this truck is going directly to our destination , yet this was just a local mover truck and they dropped our stuff in their storage and after a month they put the stuff in 18 wheeler truck to destination. No need to mention all the damage it caused to our stuff

Horrible company and people! Run!
Horrible company and people! More than doubled my parents original estimate and charged an extra $1150 for a second delivery when I spoke to the driver myself on the original date via phone and text. He’s also no where to be found on the storage facilities surveillance cameras. They arrive 6 days later with minimal communication in between. Boxes crushed, ripped open. Ridiculous. See you in court!

This entire "company" is a SCAM
"Bi%#$ A$$ Mother FU%$^ER"- Alex from US Interstate VanlinesThis company is a SCAM. They are not movers so they quote you whatever you want to steal your "nonrefundable" deposit. I received a quote from them for 1405 cuft for 44 items. I later realized that these 44 items would be MUCH more than 1405 cuft (closer to 2300 cuft) and I asked them to "show me your calculations" to get to 1,405 cuft. They refused. Then this coward named Alex called me and said "Nobody stole your money you Bi%#$ A$$ Mother FU%$^ER!!" and then hung up.

My son got a binding estimate from US…
My son got a binding estimate from US Interstate Van Lines and 4 days before the move they raised the cost by $2000 AND he found out they just brokered the move to a third part who he had not contract with which broke furniture and lost others. The third party also didn't want to follow the binding estimate (i.e. contract either) Beware these guys are do not honor binding estimates.

This was my first awesome experience
This was my first experience hiring a moving company and I was not prepared for how detailed my inventory of household goods needed to be. After numerous emails and phone calls I thought that my list was complete. However, when the movers arrived they told me how much I had left off. They figured out what their truck would hold and I adjusted what I needed hauled. Their contact at US Interstate Van Lines then refigured my bill. Within minutes Rigo and Jose (the movers) went into action. Two hours after a late arrival and about ten hours the next day the truck was loaded and gone. They were two of the hardest workers I have ever seen. They packed boxes and wrapped furniture in such a way that it would arrive unscratched. They drove north on I-95 until they were required to rest. Arriving in Va. Beach at 8:00P.M., they were unloaded by 11:00 p.m. So they were able to do everything at a reasonable time. Would recommend them.

Never use these movers
We recently used US Interstate Van Lines for a move from Pennsylvania to Mississippi. Alex from the sales team texted and called me multiple times and I got sucked in. I knew better but I still let it happen. Alex filled me in on all the reasons to use this moving company and even had Vince the dispatcher talk with me. Once I had contracted with the company, Vince disappeared. I was given a window for the delivery from Vince - but was subsequently told that this was not true by their customer service department. The movers who came to pack the house were very good - Jason and Ali. They worked hard and did a great job. They are the only reason I am giving this company two stars. Nevertheless, when it came time to pay these folks they said they would only take a check or cash and we were not informed of this prior to the packing. We paid the initial deposit by credit card and then were told that was not acceptable. It was the only method of payment we had so they reluctantly accepted the credit card. Obviously, our belongings did not arrive when promised. When we were contacted by the mover, DJ, who was going to unpack, he noted that he did not need someone to come with him. He was so incredibly slow that the unpacking took over four hours - for a two bedroom house with living room. He also had to take things to the shed in the back - but again this process was torturous. All in all, the company just employs brokers and are not at all focused on customer service. I would never use them again and would never recommend them.

If I could give this company a zero I…
If I could give this company a zero I certainly would. They are nothing but a scam artist. I gave them a $2500 check to reserve a 26 foot truck. three days before the move Anthony calls me and tells me that I need a bigger truck and that they don’t have a 26 foot truck. I told him I wanted the truck that I reserved! He then proceeded to tell me that I would need another $14,000, I told him I didn’t have $14,000. He said I would only have to pay for the square footage that I actually used. They would weigh the truck when it got here. Then he stated that he wanted $4000 sent through Zelle or Venmo i told him I was not going to Venmo or Zelle him any money. He then stated come Monday morning there would not be a truck here to load my belongings. My son has made so many calls. Brian then states that Anthony has since been fired and he was extorting money from clients. My son then asks if I’m going to be refunded? He states to call him in a week. So he calls back a week later only to be told it’s in Billings hands. He asked for the number and was told to call the 800 number. All they have done is run us around. Now they don’t answer or hang up on you. I have filed several complaints and my son will be filing a police report. Nothing but CROOKS sitting around a table scamming the next victim.

Very professional
Very professional. Done in a timely manner. Letron, Kambrell, and Dion were my movers. They were great. Worth every penny. Usually moving is an unpleasant experience but not with these guys. They made it very pleasant. No stressing at all. Got the job done right. Even the personnel I spoke with on the phone and through email (Renee and Michelle) were polite and courteous. I would highly recommend this company for all your moving needs.

WA to TN
I have been meaning to write a review for nearly two years but have been busy and forgot until now when I am getting ready to move again.Pros- they did keep my things in storage for a month as part of the agreement, and everything arrived in Tn without any missing items.Cons- I don’t even know where to begin. I hired them to pack and move me from Camas, WA to Germantown TN. First, I went over in detail with the estimator how many large and small pieces and how much just “stuff” we have. I went into all of the cabinets and closets and walked through every room. I expected that my estimate would be a little off, it usually is. But it was nearly double what I was originally quoted.Second/ they sent two guys to pack a very full four bedroom house. I had been assured it would only take one day by the slick salesman, but it took them 3 or 4 days. Third, the two guys were nice but had no idea how to professionally pack anything. When it arrived in Memphis half of the boxes were half empty, many pieces of china were simply stacked on each other, not individually wrapped or taken care of. I’ve moved more times than I can count and I have never seen such a terrible packing job. And they charged me an arm and a leg for it. I could’ve done it myself in the time it took them and it would’ve been a much better job.Fourth - The packers on the WA end Also put moving tape directly on furniture and lamps- damaging several expensive items beyond repair.Fifth/ the movers are supposed to catalog everything they pack and label every box. There was no catalog and the only labels were numbered stickers. Again- worst packing job ever.Sixth/ when the truck arrived at my house again there were only TWO guys to unpack it. So- I would absolutely not recommend. They raised the rate at a time I could not cancel, failed to catalog anything, did a terrible job packing with lots of half empty boxes which I of course paid to move, put moving tape on my furniture and ruined some of it, delayed me by days in getting back to TN to start my job…. The list is endless.Would not use them again and would tell anyone who asked to go to Find a better moving company.Also- they claim they have no record of me but I have receipts and emails with Paul the moving estimator to prove that I used interstate vanlines.

This is one of the worse moving…
This is one of the worse moving companies you can deal with. If you want bad costumer service bad movers and tack on fees that will cost you more than you expected than this is the company for you. It was a true nightmare dealing with this company. If you dig deep into this company you will find fake reviews on-line but the true reviews are the ones that give you a one star rating on how you swindle so many people. A business this bad should never be allowed to exist.

We were quoted for a move and paid our deposit. When the movers came (with their hired help from Craigslist) they loaded half of our belongings onto the truck and then doubled the price (from 3200 to 6800). Interstate will attempt to blame the consumer for giving an inaccurate estimate, when in reality, they just run a bait and switch with their pricing. The movers were far from professional, several of our items were broken. They also argued about how they were paying their hired help in our driveway! This company has literally made the local news for their scamming practices. Save yourself your money and the headache of having to deal with them.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. On pick up day, no one came. I called numerous times the next day, and no one would return my call to give me a pick up day/time. I called for Jacob Baker, Operation Manager, and he told the man that took the call he would call me back in an hour. He never did. When I finally received a call back, I was told the original truck had issues, so my belongings, that I was told would be delivered in 3-5 business days, were taken to a warehouse and stored. Two weeks later, I get a call at 9:30pm stating the truck would be there the next day 10-2. I let him know I couldn't be there until 4:00pm because of the short notice. The truck showed up with only a driver. The driver asked for the remainder of the money, and I told him not until you get help, because you can't possibly unload a full house of furniture by yourself. He called his manager, Manny, who attempted to explain that I needed to pay first. I said I will pay on delivery, and your driver is unable to deliver. Manny said he would have someone here soon. He did.... Via a craigslist ad. My entertainment center is broken beyond repair, and the driver told me to get some wood glue. Carved wooden side table, broken. Box of glassware, broken. This company does not use professional movers. Both pick up and delivery were with rental trucks.

Worst company ever
Worst company ever - they are a broker and hire the worst movers. US Interstate severely underquoted us and we were extremely accurate with everything we had - the movers showed up and back 25 percent of the truck and said it would then go from $3400 to $6800!!! They only moved a 2 bedroom home… Also, the movers packed our stuff by not stacking and fitting things in properly so it would look as if they took up more room to charge more. This was confirmed at drop off when the movers weee refusing to pay the contract guys they hired in Houston a full truck worth - they told them “this is not a full truck. They packed the truck around and not properly. It’s just a half truck”. We got completely screwed - I would NEVER recommend US Interstate to anyone - then when we tried to call them Saturday like they told us to if the drivers tried charging more, they just ghosted us. I hope they go out of business soon a straight up crap service…..-still missing items-multiple things broken-kids toys brokenIf you are reading this, I’m telling you - STAY AWAY!!! Go to and actual moving company not a broker - they pulled the ll bait and switch….

Biggest scam ever around price and…
Biggest scam ever around price and delivery dates. Stay away from them at all costs. Their estimate was okay and fair but the contractor doing the moving on their behalf came into our apartment and told us we have to pay double because the estimate amount isn’t enough money for the distance. They charged us for 550 cf instead of the actual load of 411 cf has stacked, packed and measured by their contractor. They picked up our stuff on Oct 9 and promised a delivery from Seattle to Miami within 20 business days and today is Dec 6 and they are unable to provide a delivery date. On Nov 1 they told us our stuff hadn’t left Seattle but it would arrive the week of Nov 22. On Nov 26 they said it would be by Dec 1. On Dec 1 they told us the truck broke down and they don’t know. The agent we were talking to was Amanda. On Dec 6 they tell us there isn’t an Amanda working in their office and it should arrive on Dec 8 based on notes but they don’t know if that date will hold true.

If you live in FL this might be a great company. However they are brokers and did not move me although all the times I called and asked what their function was, they misrepresented their business. I ended up paying over 10k to move from VA to WV 432 miles. I am not a competitor. This is a true nightmare story.
