This was easier and smoother than I could have hoped for after hearing so many awful stories about trying to get rid of timeshares.
We were referred to Vacation Ownership Services by Chicago Title. Our communications with Les were great - all of my emails were answered promptly, and whenever we questioned the legalese, he answered in easy to understand terms. Les is knowledgeable and thorough. The legal process took a lot longer than I expected, but some of that was on me. Les was always courteous and professional.
Les was fantastic! He made the transfer happen in short time and kept us updated as to where the process was all the time. I highly recommend his service for anyone selling or transferring a timeshare. It was so effortless with Les taking care of everything.
I found Les and his company to be very accommodating and trustworthy. I submitted paperwork based on advice from my Timeshare Management company, Les responded immediately letting me know that there was really nothing more that was required of him, and that the advice I had been given previously was erroneous. He sent me documents confirming this and refunded almost 100% of the deposit I had paid. I thought this was more than fair considering he did have to pull the title etc. for verification. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.
Absolutely DO NOT hire this company! One of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had. Unfortunately I was referred to Les by my Timeshare company. He’s rude,poor customer service skills and lazy. You pay him alot of money and he expects you to do all of the work. I don’t know if it’s incompetence or stupidity? Maybe he has ADD? He charged me extra for a mistake “HE” made too. Everything i experienced with him was negative. Having me make copies of the wrong paperwork and on and on. If it wasn’t for me being on top of things my transfer would’ve never been completed!! I honestly question how real his other reviews are. Probably most are family/friends of his or bots. That’s how bad my experience was.
Les Abeyta is a pleasant and knowledgeable person and was always available to help me. Whenever the timeshare company sent me a question or request for a document, Les was always willing to answer my questions. The transfer took longer than I had hoped because of legal situations but the transfer is finally done. Even after the completion, Les was recently willing to help me. I am grateful. Thank you!

We are totally satisfied with the work completed within the time promised and without any problems. Les was very professional and helpful throughout the process. It is a relief to have such capable and helpful folks to transfer title to our timeshare.
Les was great! He provided clear instructions and answered all my questions right away. He let me know when my completed paperwork arrived at his office and got my deed to me as soon as it was recorded.
Frankly I was not sure what to expect, I had decided to transfer ownership of my timeshare to my daughter and son in law, but the idea of dealing with a company across the country in New York was a little worrisome even though they had been recommended by a title company out here. Les promptly responded to my call and explained fully what to expect and how to proceed. He emailed all the necessary documents and when an unexpected issue arose, helped me through it and the whole process was completed much earlier than I expected. I would gladly recommend him to anyone needing his services.
Les handled the deed shenanigans with humor and expertise. It was long and arduous but it got done and I could not be happier with the outcome. Les is responsive, professional but warm and "gets it" when things are frustrating. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone!
