This should be illegal.

This should be illegal.. heck, maybe it is, but good luck trying to do anything about it until they pass some direct legislation.

I rate them a zero minus

I rate them a zero minus! I saw some information online about positions open for hospital front desk receptionist. They sent me detailed info on the job, how much they paid, they just outright lied and made up stories. There was no such thing as a job for hospital receptionist. Please aware of scams.

Run from this Company !!

Run from this Company !!! They changed my interview time without asking me. They do not tell you its a group interview at all. Then they want you to go present to your family and friends- this company lies to you on the interview-if a company does this I wonder does Cutco know this -I doubt it. I will be contacting them as well. With any company when you are NOT honest upfront something is very wrong

Vector deserve zero stars

Vector deserve zero stars, never keep to a schedule that they set, just leave hundreds without power, zero effort made.

The hallmark of an MLM is that there is…

The hallmark of an MLM is that there is a stronger emphasis on bringing in new recruits that on making sales. That is exactly what happens with Vector. No pressure to sell product only to make demonstrations. Then, very quickly the emphasis flips to becoming an "assistant manager" and focusing on recruitment of new sales reps. BEWARE

Don't take the job

Make you buy a knife set to sell but most likely won't get sales and just have to buy the knife set and lose money.

Shady Company

I was going to go to one of their interviews until I told my parents about them. My parents said they weren't technically a scam, but had lots of shady business techniques, and many people who work there end up having to pressure their friends and family to buy from vector to make any money, which ends up ruining relationships a lot of the time. I told the recruiter I had changed my mind about the interview, and they got pretty irritable that I decided against going (I guess the recruiters are payed for each person who gets interviewed). Do not work here.

Don't fall for their scheme

I worked for this company as a rep and a manager for years. Their shady practices, pretend caring about people, and terrible business model is why they are slowly circling the drain. They cannot even afford to pay their office managers an actual salary. They will bend over backwards for their absolute top performers because they recruit more people people for the schemes. I would highly discourage you from falling for their ploy. Worst treatment I have ever received from a company and not even a real job.

Yes I sold knives, No it wasn't weird

My experience while working for Vector Marketing was hands down the best experience of my life. The skills i learned while training as an assistant manager while being a sales representative allowed me to think differently about situations. The training taught me about professional communication skills, and building my knowledge on how to have better time management, financial skills. The training also gave me a better understanding of where I stand within myself as a person, and how to better myself as I represented who I am by meeting with prospects in their homes. While meeting my prospects I had more than just a sale in every appointment, but a relationship with them outside the job related realm. The more I sold/showed the products, the more I felt comfortable in talking to people. Being mentored/mentoring others was another added plus with working with vector. This job did not feel like I was just working, rather it felt like I had been having fun while working. Being a biology major, and having nothing to do with marketing or the buisness world, I had walked in the interview with the mindset of the job being just a typical warehouse/receptionist job. But It taught me more than that.
