We absolutely love the Woodforest National Bank branch located inside Walmart in Zebulon, NC. Carl Sills is our go to representative and the person who helped my husband and me open our first accounts at Woodforest. Carl is the consummate professional-knowledgeable, patient, personable, thorough and kind. He consistently provides exceptional service and always makes sure everything is handled properly. His professionalism and care for customers truly stand out. Everyone at this Woodforest branch is wonderful, but Carl has made our banking experience especially positive. Woodforest is fortunate to have Carl representing the bank and serving the community in Zebulon. We highly recommend Woodforest National Bank and especially the Zebulon, NC location because of Carl Sills. Kudos to you Carl and thank you for always taking such great care of us. The lady with the glasses & low cut is no help she had me & 2 others waiting while the black lady already mentioned she was going on her lunch break before the other 2 customers came along . Also the lady on lunch works well always on her feet always busy ! & does very lovely work :) .

Daisy and Max were very friendly and were very attentive to my needs. Daisy helped me set up a checking account right at the end of the business day and did it with urgency while still making sure I was informed on the services that are offered and that I'll be receiving. She set me up with the best option for me. Both Max and Daisy were friendly and made me feel comfortable. I'd recommend this location to anyone trying to bank; especially for first time bankers or those who are always needing a little extra help because their lives are a little more chaotic than others.
This is the worst bank ever. Their employees pressured me into opening an account with them. He was so desperate that he used his own money to do it. Then, they started charging fees for mail and for the account. I went to a Walmart location and they told me if I deposit $100, they wouldn't charge me any fees. That same month, they charged me bank fees because the $100 deposit was after the 6th day of the month. Can you see how predatory this bank is? Months later, they increased the minimum deposit to $300 without notifying me in the app, through text, or email. Then they resumed charging excessive fees. $7.25 for the account and $15 for an inactive account below the $300. They never told me any of this when signing up. I have other banks and they inform me before things like this happen. They will charge you for mailing letters and still won't tell you when a policy has changed. This bank is nothing but predatory. I never wanted to open it at all after reading the online reviews, but the employees pressured me. They were also under pressure to meet the account opening quotas too. It's a horrible place to work and to have an account. They agreed to refund about $21 of my money and when they do, I'm completely done with this bank for life. This is the most horrible bank I've ever known and if you're reading this wanting to open an account, do not. Learn from my mistake.

I went in close to closing and still was welcomed with a warm smile and willingness to help me. Britt was so knowledgeable and answered a lot of my questions regarding person to person transfers through the banking app. She also informed me where I could make late night deposits or take money out for little to no fund. I appreciate all the useful info!
I have been a customer of Woodforest Bank for over 25 years. The banking staff have been outstanding. I use both the South Park Meadows branch in South Austin and the bank in Buda for my personal and business accounts. They helped me with everything I need and always have a smile. It’s nice when you can walk in and somebody knows your name. I would definitely recommend this branch and this bank!
Horrible. Opened a checking account 3 years ago. They will want to verify your check when you work for State of Illinois. I was told to cash at Walmart, they couldn't. Finally just went with another bank, can't even set up online banking , and problems with debit, hardly anyone takes Discover.....DONT BOTHER!!!
The location is very convenient for me. The people have always been very friendly. A real small town bank type of atmosphere

I am extremely disappointed in the service we received at your Aurora IL location. My son was told in order to get a cash advance from our credit card, we had to open an account, which we did. After the account was opened, we were told there were fees for having a balance under $300. Ok, not a big deal. Then the following day, he was charged a fee for having a debit card issued. This was not disclosed to us upon opening the account. He decided to close the account due to the fees that were being charged and that were not disclosed before opening the account. He was charged another fee for closing the account. This is extremely ridiculous and I would not recommend this bank to anyone.
If you are j1 avoid opening this bank account, it has given me a lot of problems apart from that I received bad advice, when I supposedly had to maintain a balance of 100 dollars so that I was not charged anything, and it really had to be 300 dollars that by card policies, when I went in August and the advisor repeated the same thing to me, which the customer service tells me that those policies changed since July and they did not give me the correct information, go to better banks like Truist, my worst mistake was to have canceled that account and having stayed with this
