Have always used amber cars in the past but last night when I needed then they let me down After spending twelve hours in casualty I phoned amber initially was asked where from and where to. When I stated it was a&e was told no. Why???? This left me turning to another firm who had no problem with picking me up. Amber if you read this u have lost a regular customer

Useless and discusting, preodered taxi to Alfreton train station 48 hours before departure. 10 minutes before taxi departure time got phone call and its been canceled. Thank you Amber taxi, how I supposed to catch my train ? Never again.

Truly scary experience with one of their drivers....
Our recent experience was truly terrifying. We booked a return service from Gatwick airport, the outbound journey was fine but the return journey was a nightmare. The driver was not there waiting - he had our fligth number, it was delayed by a few minutes nothing major. He called while we were in the air and left a message but we had no number to call him on landing. Had to call Amber Cars to get a message to him. What proceeded was unprecedented. He called, shouted at me, was aggressive, yet it was him who was not here and in place.The car was in tatters - cracked windsreen, bumps and dents all over. The drive showed why his car was in this state and he then nearly got us killed on the M25 when he almost went to a standstill to turn and ask us what direction we wanted to take. It was so dangerous. Full discretion I have raised a complaint with Amber Cars and I am awaiting their response to this. If I get a response I will update this review with the outcome.

Thank you for your lovely taxi driver who went beyond all measures to get me on time for the train. I'm so thankful as I am going to the airport and if I missed this train I would be in trouble. Please, praise him for his great effort.It's been 9.35 ride from Waitrose, Kingsthorpe, Sat 29/03.And thank you for your reliable service as always.I like your app, too. Very helpful and easy.

I have been travelling with Amber Cab for few months now and it was amazing as always, the conversation was good , the atmosphere and safe journey home to Ardfinnan. I will definitely continue my travel journey with them and recommend it to all my friends and family.

Booking Ref# 54856132. This particular ijcar driver is very very rude. In the middle of loading my belongings he said in very unprofessional manner “Move move , not in my car, you can’t carry this. ” I had to remove the belongs out of the car that were already uploaded and be in the street until next car come in and had to move back the belonging to opposite street. He didn’t even help just sitting in the driver seat and ordering. He shouldn’t be the cab driver if he doesn’t like his customer's belongings to carry. Or specify “just human” in his resume !!

My daughter needed to get home in an emergency without any cash and I must admit the driver waited patiently whilst I got the money, she let me know how safe she felt after her dance class, even though she was alone and it was very dark the driver was so professional not at all did she feel uncomfortable.

I had booked and paid for a taxi for 7:10pm. It never arrived. After awhile I phoned another cab company, Data Cars. But it was the same crowd! I was very upset to say the least. This was not the first time either. Never again will I use Amber Cars or Data Cars.

Dreadful thieving service. Return from. GATWICK, they were aware of the 2hr flight delay and still charged me waiting time and had to pay the excess at the car park. Complained in writing and called twice. No response from them at all. Absolutely disgusting. Will not use this awful service again.

Useless do not book if you need to be on time, booked a car in advance , 45 mins later still waiting for them to find a car, other cab firms are now 30 mins. We missed our flight thanks to Amber cars , why take a booking you can not honour Rude controllers that are no help

What a horrible experience with this company booked a taxi day before to take my soon to school .pick up 7 30 7 30 comes no taxi ring company up oh sorry sir we don't have any available cars at the minute there will hopefully be a taxi with you soon . We'll please people don't use this taxi firm as they don't care about there customers

Abysmal: 20 minutes late, didn`t know the area, didn`t adequately speak English
Taxi driver turned up 20 minutes late, & (despite us asking for a driver who spoke English & knew the area), he did neither.........he hadn`t a clue where he was going, & frankly if Amber are happy using drivers with no knowledge of the area, & w ho cannot speak English, then I do not plan using them againI had used Amber for a number of years, but if this is the standard of service that you`re happy to provide, then I just won`t ever use you again

We booked a large MPV for a transfer to Abbeywood Station for a flight booking.This booking was made five days in advance and we had a booking confirmation/reminder beforehand.However on the morning of our transfer, no car turned up and when we called to see what was the delay, we were informed by a very poor english speaking lady that they cannot fulfil our booking for another 40 mins!We were panic stricken as this impacted on our flight check-in and if I had not called to chase no one at Amber cars would have bothered to get in touch, just left all 9 of us with suitcases waiting.Do not use this horrendous car service.
