America's Worst Value Inn
If you want disappointment, do not stay at America’s Best Value Inn in Kalispel, Montana. I have stayed in five-star hotels; and while I did not expect this stay to be like that, I also did not expect drapes with holes, stained fabric on the only chair in the room, sockets so loose that they were incapable of holding any plug (and one set of sockets did not have a cover plate), three pillows for two adults instead of four, thin bath towels, sparse towel supply (one wash cloth and one hand towel for two adults), and difficult-to-step-in bathtub with a high rim. Also, the room did not have a blow dryer or a clock, and the sheets on the bed were thin with little cover, although the bed itself was comfortable. It also lacked a basic suitcase rack, and the room sadly featured walls with cracks and chips, and some of the walls had uneven paint coats. There was one nightstand with a lamp that resembled an antique from the 1950s. The room also smelt like stagnant cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The air in the room was stale, and we occasionally had to turn on the air-cooling unit, which made the room chilly after a while. The air-cooling unit was extremely noisy and made sleep difficult. The one plus mark is that the woman at the registration desk was friendly and loaned us an air freshener. Also, even though it was the hotel’s policy to only have three pillows for our bed, she still kindly gave us another pillow. For $200.00 per night, I stayed at better hotels that offered everything that this place was missing: pleasing room arrangement and furnishings including sufficient pillows, freshness, ample and thick towels, hair dryer, and a suitcase rack. The continental breakfast was okay. It had milk, orange juice, and apple juice for beverages. Also, it had muffins, cereal, fruit, and waffles. The room did have a decent small refrigerator and microwave. The TV and remote worked fine, but the Television Channel sheet was inaccurate. Because this hotel is close to the much visited and picturesque Glacier National Park and because of summer with abundant tourists, the owners of this place feel they can charge more for less. Unless you have no other place to rest your head for the night, I would go elsewhere, even if you might pay more. It will be well worth avoiding the disappointment and aggravation that awaits you if you patronize this hotel. My wife was born and raised in Montana, and she even thought this place was below Montana standards.

Disgusting
America's Best Value in Anchorage, Alaska. We were there 7/19 to 7/23/ 2025. The whole inn was dirty. We ended up in 3 different rooms and all were pretty much the same. Their ad on the website is not correct, there is minimum for breakfast and not other facility areas there. Barely had any air conditioning, beds were horrible, floors and walls dirty, emergency sprinklers covered in dust. I can't name it all... OMG Filed complaint with BBB.

Hell hole.
Arrived about 9pm. Complete hell hole. Barricaded ourselves inside the room, slept fully clothed on top of a filthy bed, in a disgusting room, surrounded by the scariest people you could imagine. We left as soon as we woke up. We believed there was a genuine treat to our lives staying here. Glad we are still alive.

I briefly noticed the poor condition of the front of the Hotel. I walked in and was told by front that I would have to wait until 3pm. I said OKAY then I will wait in the car. Walking out I mentioned I would like to be closer to the front or by the pool. He said the pool is not working. I walked back out and decided to drive around the Hotel. That's when I noticed the real horrible conditions of the Hotel! The Gutters at the roof had mass weed growth in them and the outside windows of each room dirty and fogged over. I then drove around to discover the pool area. The Pool was full of green and black slim!!! The landscaping, palms, etc. were dead!!!! I was in shock that a reservation desk could even recommend this hotel to me! I was in total shock and feared for my health to spend any time in one of the rooms!! I took pictures of the Hotel. I do not want to even give one star, but I must in order to send this review!!!

No Refunds-Bad Hotel!
The manager Manny refuses to give a refund and hungs up when I call. I have gone through my credit card company and the BBB. Because they have a "no refunds" clause on their registration card that allows them to never give a refund. Do NOT stay here. Do NOT sign the registration card without seeing your room first. They are filling their pockets without making it better for their guest.Do NOT stay here! (Parenthesis represent pictures that we took.) We checked in at 2:35 on Tuesday, 6/29/21 (ABVIregcard) at the Americas Best Value Inn at Satellite Beach. We then parked outside our room & walked past an ac drip at the base of the stairs that we had to carefully avoid then up the stairs with a wobbly hand rail. At the top of the stairs, the first room had a hole in their curtain with a camera (holeincurtainwithcamera) & cigarette butts throughout their ac puddle (cigbutts&acpuddles) that we stepped over. We walk over two more ac puddles to our door. Before we even walk in I can see the worn out curtain (ourcurtaindeteriorate) through our window. Not pleased at this point but we can deal with it. As we enter our door we are greeted with the smell of smoke in our non-smoking room & I immediately see the crumbs at the base of the bed (crumbsbybed) & multiple things that we could be blamed for with our dogs & I begin taking pictures. I take a picture of the broken dresser doors (Dresser1 & Dresser2). I notice many things on the carpet such as a carpet patch (Carpetpatchfrayed) & frayed carpet (frayedcarpetbywall) along the edges. To top that off there were piles of pet hair (Hairycarpet&haironwallcloseup) along the edges of the carpet too. I walk toward the bathroom & notice a crack in the door (Bustedbathroomdoor). The crack was across the edge of the door too. As I looked at the night stand (bedtable), I see that it is also all torn up at the bottom. I decide that I will just have to deal with it now that I have covered us by taking pictures so that we won’t be responsible for the disgrace of the room so far. I help my kids get situated & try to keep them quiet so that my husband can rest after the long drive. I go to sit on the bed & find a hole in the bedding (Holeinbedsheet). As I sit at the edge of the bed beside the hole, I look up at the refrigerator with the cords dangling hazardlessly beside it (Fridgewithexposedhangingcords), & see something crawling on the top. I get up hoping to kill a gnat but find a baby roach. I get a tissue & try to squish it. It went under the metal on top but I was able to push the tissue under the metal & squish it. I do not have a picture because it was just squished guts unrecognizable on the tissue. That was the final straw. I then get our kids & have them play outside while my husband rests & I begin searching for a different hotel. After searching on my phone for about 20 minutes, I find a hotel and call to check availability & pricing at 4:01. I talk to my husband about the situation & we decide to go to another hotel. I walk to the office & talk with the clerk. She makes a phone call & is told that she cannot refund our money but can only move us to a room a few doors down, likely infested with roaches as well. I attempt to contact corporate via the number on our registration card at 4:14. After calling multiple times (CallCorporate) to try & reach customer service, I was only able to get in touch with reservations. I try to work with them but their hands are tied. I talk with my husband & we decide we cannot safely stay at ABVI & check out. I book our reservation at the Best Western at 4:34, a mere 2 hours after I got our keys for ABVI. I highly recommend the Best Western instead! We were in the room for less than 2 hours and had nothing but bad experiences the entire time. As of right now, I am reaching out to the management at ABVI & sent this to Redlion via the RLH contact page on the Redlion website. They can't do anything because it is a franchise. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. Other pictures include a large pile of dog vomit (dogvomit) in the parking lot; an example of the furniture & personal items (furniture&personalbydoors) that were outside of many of the doors likely occupied as apartments, not an inn; loose door lock on the inside of our door (loosedoorlock); & the gross tub drain (tubdrain).
