Power supply failed, waste of money and time

Ordered their PSU, which stopped working after two years. The warranty is for TEN YEARS, but the support is not cooperating and I have had to buy a new power supply.

RMA for the straightpower…

Had to do a RMA for the straightpower 11 750w due to case fan noise, after sending it in, turn around was 2 days after my royal mail (UK) arrived, they sent a new one with 1 day delivery!Have heard that the warranty involves deprecation factoring, but in my case, after just less than 2 years of use they sent the same model.

Great customer service/care!

Amazing client support. Quick efficient and takes the client needs into consideration.I got a new motherboard and required special clip ons to attach my 6 years old (!!) be quiet! CPU cooler to it. They sent me one immediately and without any problems at all. :)In an age where we simply throw everything away, these folks actually are preventing e-waste and giving long term technical assistance. This is great customer service/care!

Don't trust the warranty, bad product quality

The fan of a PSU be quiet! Pure Power 11 400W became very noisy after only 1 year of normal usage. This is caused by a broken fan bearing (this seems to be a common issue with this brand) My previous PSU from another brand lasted more than 10 years in same conditions and is still working. After sending the 5 year warranty PSU back for RMA. I got the response "Your product was not found to be defective". So for a company calling themselves "be quiet" they can't even replace a single noisy broken fan under warranty??? This is not only illegal for not following warranty laws but just plain stupid in my opinion. Now I will never buy from this company again. Companies like this with bad quality and even worse customer service are to be avoided! They should stop wasting my time and money and stop creating more e-waste!!I replaced the PSU with a Corsair unit and the fan does not even need to spin.

They acquired a small keyboard company…

They acquired a small keyboard company named 'Mountain'.This Mountain company had a really great keyboard that be quiet has now acquired and made their own revision of it.However, since the acquisition by be quiet, the software for the original Mountain keyboard I purchased has completely abandoned and confirmed to not be made open source.I would not recommend Mountain.gg or be quiet.

Poor quality products

Poor quality products - purchased their Silent Loop 240mm which started making awful fridnign noises less than a year into operation. Avoid any of their water cooling gear.

Heed the Dark Power 13 warnings

Headline I was without a PSU for 3 weeks, and now I have received the replacement with the same issue.I saw a lot of complaints about this but assumed it was a vocal minority, and maybe it still is, but now I'm a part of it! In addition to it being the possibility of a vocal minority, it just isn't worth the risk given there are so many PSUs without as many complaints, and reasonably better specs (such as 0RPM modes.)People have much more serious complaints than I, but for me with a silent build this was totally unacceptable. For me:.Built a system with 1000w Dark Power 13, it made this weird rumbling noise, it was fixed by turning it upside down. It was the loudest part of my build. At idle it made a strange sound I can't really describe, a bit like a very small motorbike idling. Can't return it via retailer as it was a reseller, and actually they bought it a while ago, they said need to pursue the Warranty. Support was slowly helpful. RMA'd it.Waited 3 weeks. Had to pay to ship it. I would probably actually be more amenable were I not out a PSU for 3 weeks. It arrived (I had to pay customs too, which delayed it, they refunded the customs thankfully after some arguing about invoices.)Now with the NEW psu, SAME issue, now even worse as it is not even fixed by placing the PSU upside down.Support says they only replaced the last one as a gesture of 'goodwill', which is insulting given we are buying these products because they're quiet. It's not good will! Either it's RMA'd or not.Additionally I feel they could have been more on it in terms of replying, I should have received an automated email for tracking, instead I had to request this. Putting this as a warning to anyone searching for reviews. Of course - you totally could get, and are probably more than likely to get a good one, but I would never again.
