They have no helpful customer service. The reps can't do anything. Delivery is a problem. My 7-10 days delivery has been WAY LONGER and a nightmare from FedEx as well.
Advice to consumers:DO NOT give this company your email address when dealing with them. I ordered something a year ago and did so. Ever since, I have received one or two promotional emails A DAY. The company does not offer an "unsubscribe" function on its site, which I believe is illegal. And they never respond to my requests to stop the emails. To date, I have received 382 unwanted emails from them. Don't do business with this company.
This company has a good selection of great puzzles at a lower price point then many other brand name puzzles and so I purchased 3 of their puzzles earlier this year. However, I was disappointed with the quality. The random cuts can be somewhat challenging as the pieces don't lock well and because the pieces are thinner then some higher priced brands, they tend to shift easily on the puzzle board or sections sometimes buckle easily.
This must be the most incompetent and dishonest company doing "business" out there. DO NOT USE AT ALL, esp. for XMAS ! Two puzzles arrived back to back. BOTH puzzles had between two and four pieces missing. Simply keep on scrolling to find this and even more egregious offenses being perpetrated by Bitsandpiecespuzzles. Bruce C.
We have done jigsaw puzzles for years including many from Bits and Pieces. As we were nearing completion of our last Bits and Pieces puzzle, we found several pieces were exact duplicates of other pieces and didn’t fit in the puzzle. The duplicate pieces were the same shape and the same picture. We also found a small section that had no pieces so we were not able to complete the puzzle.We contacted the company and sent several of the duplicate pieces with the letter. I said that I expected a response. When we didn’t get a response, I sent a second letter requesting a refund. Still no response. My thinking is that Bits and Pieces does not have a customer service department. We will not ever buy Bits and Pieces puzzles again and suggest that you do the same.
I ordered a Standard Puzzle Plateau (1,000 Piece) which arrived quite quickly and is what I expected. With the receipt letter I was told that if I ordered within the next 30 days they'd take 10% off!!! As my wife wanted some new puzzles she gave me the info for them and I placed the order and tried to get the 10% off but nowhere on the order form would it accept this. I sent the company an email asking why I could not get the promised 10% off my order (which was over £60) but have had no reply. As I am an O.A.P. that 10% means a great deal in these hard times when trying to keep the books balanced with the cost of living crisis.
Missing pieces. Puzzle was cut poorly and would not match. They sent me another replacement and the same problem occurred. I had extra pieces and they did not match. I will never order from them again. I was very frustrated with the purchase. I will never recommend them to anyone.
Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. It’s not a Canadian company, products are shipped from out of country and take too long to arrive. Products are garbage. Customer service is horrible and if you want to return something, it costs even more. I asked 3 times for a refund on the shipping cost because items arrived too late, but all they would offer was $5 off next order, like I’d ever order from them again. Definitely not worth it. Save your money and order from Amazon or directly from china. They are ruining their business one customer at a time
Delivery took forever! Made 2 Xmas gift orders. Ordered 12/11/21 shipped via Fed Ex Smartpost and arrived - no kidding - on 1/18/2022! Over a month! Second gift ordered 12/10/21 shipped via Fed Ex Smartpost was delivered on 12/31/2021. So, gifts were not delivery in anything close to a timely manner. Never received any emails from Bits & Pieces after a sinlge shipping notice with tracking number for each order. Nothing saying delivery would be massively delayed.
Horrendous customer service! They will not stand behind their product and pass the buck to Amazon. I spent hours assembling a puzzle I had hoped to frame, only to find the two remaining pieces, although the correct shape, just wouldn’t fit. To top it off the image on each piece doesn’t match - close but not quite. I simply requested a replacement not a refund. Of course, the return deadline for Amazon orders has since past. Shameful that a well known brand treats their customers so poorly. I had planned to order a puzzle easel from their website. Now I’ll be looking elsewhere after wasting both my money and time.
Do not ever order from Bits and Pieces. They are not a real company, just a few phones that call and order your Product from the US to ship to you. They will only use Postal service, making a profit on that and blaming Canada Post for problems. The problem is, Canada Post also adds their useless, unreliable, and slow service, so ANYTHING you order will take more than a month. Their puzzles are made with very low quality, if you ever do get it.
I wanted to support a Canadian company and found out my order was coming from the US. Placed my order on Nov 5, shipped Nov 10 and I followed up Nov 17 as item not received. I was advised to wait a few more days and no tracking number can be provided. Followed up on the 25th and requested a refund and to have package redirected (if it really did ship from US). I was told because it was shipped they would not process a refund even though they can’t provide confirmation of the same. They can’t tell me where it is, only it’s in Canada somewhere or, when it might be delivered. I feel delivery issues are not my responsibility and at no point was I made aware when placing my order it was coming from another country. This is definitely misrepresentation. Very poor customer service and no customer satisfaction.
I made a purchase online on October 6th 2020 and was charged $12.99 for shipping.I called today to find out the delivery status since it has already been 14 days and was told it has already been shipped and I would receive it this week.Upon logging in right now I see that it was just shipped out today and showing a delivery between 1-11 business days which means I could get it almost a month after my purchase.I would advise to call and find out the delivery time before making a purchase online.False information regarding delivery!!!!
We bought a cube puzzle box and could not move one of the sides of the box. Hoping this wasn't due to user error, we called customer service and explained our problem. They offered to refund our money, but we asked for a replacement. We just got it yesterday and were able to solve the puzzle box. We took the other box and carefully took it apart to find one piece was accidentally glued to another. So glad the customer service department took our complaint seriously and helped us out without any hassle.
Just been informed that they cancelled my order 2 weeks ago, without telling me anything, because apparently they can't send outside UK. They also took a week to apply to my query. I wish I'd looked here first.
Ordered items 18th April, heard nothing except when I email for delivery update I get a Automated reply saying they are working but to allow 28 days for delivery. I have waited far more than 28 days but still cannot get an answer. Appalling even taking into account possible delays due to CovidOrder number 155211

I am receiving the same treatment. Ordered 2 puzzles 16/4/20 and haven't received them. I sent a email via their website link which they have ignored. Calls to the company are at a premium rate of 13p even on the number they offer as the national rate. No point in calling when you are unlikely to get an answer.
Don't answer emails, or 'phone on a premium number or even a letter. Ordered jigsaws in early April, took the money and that was that, no goods, no response to anything, just really avoid. I wouldn't leave it though, so...............22/5/20 - An Update, and it might help everyone else in this situation. On Facebook, they have a Sister company in the USA and Canada, the UK does not have a Facebook page (I wonder why!)I wrote to them 2 days ago via Facebook and asked were they connected and if so, why was the UK office taking money for orders, not sending them for weeks, not communicating with anyone etc. They apologised and said it was their sister company and that they had a contact in the UK and would email them now and raise my concerns. Lo and behold, a response from Bits and Pieces UK happened, as shown below."Hello Thank you for your email.I apologise for the delay in response and delivery on your order. Unfortunately we have been exceptionally busy at this time and this has impacted on our response timescales.I have arranged for the order to be cancelled and a refund credited to the account that you paid from. I told the USA office it was pathetic that you had to write to them to get a response from the UK, and I responded pretty harshly to the above person, who then as expected didn't respond! So everyone try that method, the USA will soon get fed up with UK customers contacting them, and it may help you all out. I just wanted my order cancelled and my money back from an order I placed early April. It just proves too that my order which I suspect like many others, hasn't even been processed/despatched yet! Not even an email to tell you either. USA was more helpful! Don't think they want bad reviews on their Facebook page, but feel free! I have also reported this company to Trading Standards, and have had an acknowledgement today. I would never touch this company again. Good luck everyone else! The USA office has been more helpful than the UK!
