Not Committed to Their Promises Nor to Customer Satisfaction

More than one month has passed since the floor was refinished by Brabus Hardwood KZ of Mississauga, Ontario. The work was paid in full on the same day. Afterwards, a few texts were sent to Max regarding his return visit, which he called his "courtesy visit". Max had confirmed in writing that he would be in touch in the "new year" regarding the return date to correct some flaws in the finish. For five weeks I've waited and waited; eventually, the furniture needed to be moved back. Sadly, there has been absolutely zero communication from Max regarding his return visit, and hence, this report (certainly not my first choice; obviously that would have been to be contacted and have the flaws remedied). Also, prior to the work being completed, written reassurance had been given that the baseboards did not need to be protected or covered as Brabus' equipment was specialized, and would not cause any damage to the baseboards. In fact, with regard to the green protective tape I'd placed on the baseboards, Max wrote: "We sand hardwood where people have very expensive kitchen cabinets installed and we don't leave any damage so that green tape needs to come out." Unfortunately, this was not true, and their sander has left black scratches on the newly painted baseboards.
