Very inconsistent care. Out of four caregivers, I've only had one quality experience.Several were on their phones non-stop. One hid to play on her phone when she was supposed to be watching the patient to make sure they didn't choke or have a seizure. Unsafe and inconsistent care.
Very expensive and poor service. While many of the employees are caring, the company doesn’t care about their clients at all, only about getting more billable hours. They have left my father alone in bed on numerous occasions and done anything about staff failing to show up. Some of the staff are experienced and genuinely care about what they are doing but most staff, and there is a different one every day, are not briefed on the client or requisite tasks, come in late, leave early and are on the mobile phone half the time and when this feedback is given to the company they categorize you as being a client with an attitude. If you can find any other alternative I would take it, Brightstar is awful.
This dangerous company failed to show up three times for my elderly father in law. They didn’t even call to say they wouldn’t be there. They lied during the consultation and after the fact said service “was never guaranteed.”
Over promise and under deliver to people you were hired to care for. Expensive, dangerous and shameful. Stay away from this company
BEWARE! If you value the health and safety of your elderly relatives, do NOT trust BrightStarCare to provide services for them. They consistently fail to show up and provide necessary care for their vulnerable clientele, literally endangering lives through their shoddy business practices.
