I received gift cards as a present to…

I received gift cards as a present to use with the Company. Even though they were paid with cash, the gift cards allegedly can only be used for new reservations and can't even be applied towards a balance onboard. This is petty and petulant. I look forward to sailing with anyone but them. LOSERS!

I’m aboard the Celebrity Constellation

I’m aboard the Celebrity Constellation. The public areas are a 8. Food is great. The staterooms? Forget it!!! It’s basically Motel 6 without the bed bugs!! When I complained, I was told that the staterooms have not been updated in 26 years! Curtains had holes in them and they were falling off the rod, closet doors with missing hinges ( had to slam it shut for it to stay shut), ripped shower curtain, rusty shower curtain hooks, chipped furniture and the list goes on and on. Was told that they did replace the matresses recently. I can say that the bed WAS comfortable. But don’t waste your money. Was told this ship won’t be updated until 2027!!!! It’s many years past due! ….and basically told that by the crew. They are embarrassed by the rooms.Public areas are nice. Food is great! Just stay away from this ship unless you like staying at Motel 6.Concierge staff just reached out to me (called stateroom). For an over $4,000 cruise, they offered me a $50 stateroom credit. When she told me it was $50, she made sure she was clear…she said “$50, five zero”. Told her that is an insult and hung up on her.Celebrity is the lowest of the cruise lines. RUN!!!! Not worth your hard earned money. If you want to see pics of the stateroom condition, let me know! Not joking here!!

Wonderful experience

We recently returned from a 14 day South America and Antartica cruise from Buenos Aries visiting some really interesting places and seeing lots of nature learning lots about the areas we visited. We really enjoyed the onboard experience, the food at all restaurants was pretty good, we eat at the Silhouette restaurant most eveings and the staff and food were very good. The ships crew put on a good show and Capt Leo was an excellent host.Celia our naturalist was excellent and we had every opportunity to enjoy our surroundings. It is our second Celebrity cruise, we did Solstice last year and Equinox this year, they are both very similar ships probably about 20 years old and look it in places but everything was clean and it felt safe.We would book again.

My First and Last Cruise With Them

Didn't make it to Key West or the Bahamas, and the ships entertainment, food and alcohol did NOT make up for the disappointment. This trip was for my daughter's 40th birthday, which I informed the cruise line about prior to our departure date but they forgot her birthday and missed it by a day. I had also requested double beds and a balcony but was given one bed and a balcony that overlooked the bright orange life boats. Also, our food experiences at Sushi On 5 and Tuscan Grill were subpar at best. At Sushi on 5 we were served a roll which had hard, probably old, rice and my daughter was unable to even finish her sushi. At Tuscan Grill we ordered the calamari which had the texture and chew of a rubber band. The crab cake tasted old and had a peculiar smell to it, so we did not finish either dish. My daughter had the carbonara, which wasn't edible no matter what she used to try to fix the flavor. At the buffet, we wanted pasta but they had the noodles sitting out and to warm them up they were submerged in hot water and tossed in the sauce dripping wet and handed to us - we ended up not eating it and getting plates of fruit to take back to our room. Unfortunately, at the Baocio Cafe, one of the servers taking orders for the line was incredibly impatient and rude, we did not return. Celebrity Reflection claimed to have high standards, and this was their alleged high standards. I will never waste my money again with their cruise line. As for the weather, why we missed the ports, I am hard pressed to believe that your team wasn’t aware of a storm system moving in prior to our departure, these things are checked well in advance to make sure the trip is safe, correct? Passengers should have been given options or had backup ports, something. Especially with how bad this cruise line is. We tried to speak to the insurance and directly to Celebrity and both responses were unacceptable. Terrible trip.

I was on the Mumbai to Singapore 12-day Celebrity Melenium cruise. My first cruise ever and I was delighted with the experience. Great selection of restaurants, buffet restaurant, entertainment, activities, and service of all crew. I particularly liked DJ Ryan, who was always ready to fullfill all my song requests and was imo the ship's superstar every single night. well done Ryan. Hope to meet you again... some time in the future!

Pretty much the best cruise line out there.

Beautiful ship, great staff, excellent food. Only letdown was the beer selection being poor and stupidly expensive. Will definitely cruise with them again.

CAVEAT EMPTOR

CAVEAT EMPTOR: This is a poorly managed and run operation. I have never been on a cruise before so decided to book a bucket list cruise to Antarctica. What a nightmare. The agent failed to let us know what we got for our almost $20K! We have no idea where our suite is on the boat, when we leave, where we leave from, where we fly, on which dates (we were given several different dates) into and no idea of anything at all except our payment?! In fact, when I asked for an itinerary, I got one with the wrong dates, the wrong location, and the wrong name! I tried to cancel through the agent and that was even more frustrating. The chatbot on the site hung up on us, and there was a 45 minute to one hour wait to talk to a live (offshore) agent! As it stands I have no idea what Celebrity has done with our $18,000.00. I will probably have to contact the state's attorneys office to make sure I didn't get scammed. Please be careful booking on this line/company. ESPECIALLY if you are a first-time or novice "cruiser." An absolutely horrible cruise experience

‪Avoid this cruise company. Sitting in an old and outdated “Infinity” ship as we speak, just outside Athens, and we have lost all power. Guest Services doesn't even answer the phone, and there is ZERO communication to passengers on what the hell is going on. An absolute clusterfu@k of a cruise line. Cannot wait until I can disembark from this floating rust bucket. I can't believe I paid $8k for this nonsense!!

As member of Bitci Stack Asset VIP…

As member of Bitci Stack Asset VIP group, we recently planned a trip with celebrity cruises, looking forward to what we believed would be the same high standards and quality experiences the brand was once known for. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet these expectations. Our group chose Celebrity Cruises on its reputation for excellence. It's genuinely disheartening, as this was a trip we carefully organized together and were exited about. Had we been aware of the direction things have taken, we may have reconsidered booking another cruise with them. We hope Celebrity cruises reflects on feedback like this and works toward restoring the trust and standards that originally made them stand out.

If I could give 0 stars

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This cruise is a complete robbery. Sailing with Celebrity Ascent at the end of Feb 26. I'm completely shocked by the terrible customer service we have been offered prior to even sailing on this cruise, so I am really not excited to travel with them. I will NEVER be sailing with this company ever again. On top of the completely extortionate fees for drinks and unfair rules (such as 2 people having to buy the same package for a room. What if one person doesn't drink alcohol?!?!), I wrote to them about upgrading the drinks package for my parents as we had already paid for the non-alcoholic and wanted to now change to alcoholic. They are telling me we can't simply pay the difference and we should spend £1.5k on a new package and wait over a month for the refund, as if the normal human being has the money sitting around. Disgusting, thieving company and I just can't wait for the trip to be over so I never have to deal with these crooks again.

Very disappointed with profit driven Celebrity Cruises who lack compassion for customers who have to cancel due to medical emergency despite providing paperwork and a physicians signed verification they kept my money and refused to give me a refund. I will never use this company nor recommend it.

The cruise was mostly…average

The cruise was mostly great, entertainment excellent trying to find a seat for breakfast very trying dinner in Normandy restaurant vegetables well undercooked and hard to find on the plate ,however staff very helpful. Annoyed with breakfast staff constantly tly telling you to be happy and as for that Jamaican waiter shouting coffee, coffee, coffee it's good for you well that was just enough. Constantly bombarded with upwelling fine dining! And to top it all 5 minutes after disembarkation had food poisoning with diarrhoea yes a great way to finish cruise well done celebrity edge sydney

Celebrity is the best of the major cruise lines, by far!

Where are all the positive Celebrity reviews? That is really kind of shocking to me! I've sailed on all of the major cruise lines at least once, but I've sailed on Celebrity the most. That is because I always have the best overall experience on Celebrity! Is it perfect? No. Absolutely nothing is perfect! But Celebrity ships are clean, modern and sophisticated (even the older ones). They offer an excellent selection of itineraries. The employees on board are always so friendly and helpful. The food is generally good, though I do wish they would up their game on desserts. I've got two more Celebrity cruises planned for 2026, and possibly a third. I can't wait because I know the overall experience is going to be great!

The Erosion of Brand Trust

I am writing this to share a difficult realization following the cancellation of my March 16, 2026, Celebrity Millennium sailing. After 15 years of loyalty to the Royal Caribbean Group, the handling of this situation has fundamentally changed how I view your brands. My frustration is centered on a total lack of transparency and a series of broken promises. Being told my reservation was canceled for "inventory issues" is a vague explanation that provides no real understanding of why my booking was selected for removal. This lack of honesty makes it impossible to feel confident that if I book with you again, the same thing won't happen.Furthermore, I feel a deep sense of betrayal regarding the travel reimbursement. During my initial calls, I was told repeatedly that any non-refundable travel expenses would be reimbursed as part of the compensation package. It was only after I spent weeks chasing management and submitting documentation that the goalposts were moved. To be told that Celebrity only covers "cancellation fees" and not the actual out-of-pocket cost of the flights feels like a deliberate reneging on a promise. If this had been communicated clearly from the start, it would have been one thing, but to label it a "miscommunication" after the fact is unacceptable. For over a decade, I have been a vocal advocate for your cruise lines. However, after being treated as a transaction and subjected to inconsistent management, that trust has been eroded. While I am not ending my relationship with Royal Caribbean Group entirely, you are no longer my exclusive choice for vacations. This experience has prompted me to actively explore other cruise lines for our future travel. I no longer feel the same confidence in recommending your brands to friends and family, as I can no longer guarantee they will be told the truth or that the company will stand by its word.

Just got off a cruise on the Apex with Celebrity.Overall, I'll give the cruise a 3 star. Food was good quality, I wouldn't say it rocked the boat. Breads and Desserts were great, except for the Kiwi sorbet which tasted like bilge water. Wait staff were very polite and helpful. State rooms were clean and functional. Jon the comedian was good except for his political joke about what they're different word the UK uses for describing Trump as a "fart". He should add in his routine that Biden was an "Ass", just to be neutral and fair. Stopping at Bimini was a waste of time. The place has nothing to offer. One road that runs straight through and no entertainment. Half the island is poverty and dirty, while the other half is wealth and nowhere to go, no accessible beaches.

Celebrity Thailand and Vietnam Dec 25 / Jan 26

The Celebrity staff were amazing, entertainment and food good and overall a good cruise experience aboard Solstice. However Celebrity seem hellbent on taking every opportunity to milk your last penny from you.$18 each per day for gratuities, (which you can stop at customer relations), massively overpriced excursions,(no information given to assist you how to do things alone) shops ( $18 for paracetamol) Spa treatments and drinks ( take drink package), wi fi and bingo at $50 a book at which less than half of sales goes to winners !!!Thailand and Vietnam are not places to visit by cruise as all the main attractions, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Golden hand bridge are 4 to 5 hours return journeys away ! We stopped in horrible industrial cargo docks with no towns nearby. To summarise Celebrity were our favourite Cruise line and are still good but be aware of heavy, hidden charges and they're slipping slightly. We will try another cruise line next !

I am an experienced cruiser with 10+…

I am an experienced cruiser with 10+ cruises across multiple lines, including Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Uniworld, and Star Cruises. Until this sailing, I had never felt the need to formally challenge customer relations — particularly following a Christmas and New Year cruise. On Celebrity Edge, our family experienced repeated overnight electrical and air-conditioning failures — three consecutive nights early in the cruise and again later. These outages occurred while sleeping and resulted in waking in complete darkness and extreme heat, without lighting, climate control, or basic in-cabin services. The impact went beyond discomfort. During investigations, maintenance attended while we were woken at night, still in sleepwear, and we were required to keep our stateroom door open to the lift foyer while work was carried out. This resulted in a complete lack of privacy for our family at vulnerable hours, and these were not brief interruptions. While frontline crew were polite, the fault recurred after assurances it had been fixed. What was most disappointing was the customer relations response afterward. Based on extensive cruising experience, the proportionality and handling of the recovery offered fell well below the standards I have previously encountered on other premium cruise lines — especially given the significance of a once-in-a-lifetime family trip.Celebrity delivers many things well, but reliability of core cabin systems, privacy during repairs, and fair, proportionate recovery when those systems fail require serious improvement.A further concern was the handling of the issue by senior Customer Relations. When follow-up calls were made to confirm whether repairs had been properly completed, the standard response was simply to ask whether we wanted maintenance or housekeeping again. As an experienced cruiser, this was concerning. A senior Customer Relations role should involve ownership, investigation, and confirmation that a recurring fault has been permanently resolved at ship level — not repeated deflection back to frontline services. The absence of clear investigation or accountability contributed to the issue recurring and undermined confidence that the matter was being properly managed.

Celebrity Eclipse disappointing cruise…

When we embarked on our Celebrity cruise on the Eclipse Nov. 30th 2025, we did so with expectations of a relaxing, celebratory time in which we could enjoy our 57th Anniversary trip. The issues that ensued from the time our wet luggage was left outside our stateroom door until complete access to the premium WIFI issue was resolved and the Ultimate Celebration package gifted by our family was finally able to be accessed the last 2 days of the cruise however kept that from occurring. Shipboard Guest services made minimal effort to resolve the issues. Guest relations after being contacted when we returned home afterward, refused any responsibility for any of the problems we incurred other than to say our concerns were forwarded to the ship to be used for their further educational purposes for future sailings. It absolutely is not worth the stress of back and forth with them for me to further attempt to get them to understand our disappointment with our trip due to these “glitches” that happened on the ship. It’s very obvious their only concern is saving a few dollars for the cruise line. We do not recommend this cruise line.
