UNRELIABLE
I bought 3 brushes. It took one month to receive my order and it was incomplete, they just sent me 2. I called Cheap Joe costumer service, the woman told me that the missing brush was a back order and yelled at me for not being patient. Three day later I got an email from them saying that the missing brush was not in stock. I’ve decided to buy my supplies somewhere else. Please stay away from Cheap Joe.

Great mom-and-pop art store!
Cheap Joe's in-house (American Journey) watercolors and oil paints are truly one of a kind. They are reasonably priced and I was so impressed with the colors and consistency. I actually tried their Cerulean Blue Hue oil color, and was so surprised at how buttery and smooth it went on my canvas paper without the use of any mediums. I actually prefer their watercolor brushes over the Princeton Neptunes. I have had zero issues with ordering from Cheap Joe's. I can't speak on the customer service aspect since I rarely need it. One thing I really appreciate is that they are one of the few art stores that don't bend a knee down to "rainbow month." As a conservative, it is very important to me to shop at sites that share my same values.

Responsive, helpful business
After several orders I find Cheap Joes an excellent, responsive business. Quick with answering questions, even replied to my review of a product they carry (not necessary, but the did anyway) They are always quick to ship, and the free shipping over $69 is a good option (of course, with a lower dollar amount for free shipping I would place more orders, but I wait until I get to the free shipping dollar amount)

Dishonest
Dishonest. Promotes a husband-and-wife team of artists who supposedly know how to market artwork. But they can't even market their own. When I left a one star review on the Cheap Joe's website, somebody took it down.
