Don't Order from Chemex
We ordered an eight-cup Classic Chemex coffeemaker and it came in pieces with no protective packaging. We ordered it directly from Chemex, so how do they not know how to package glass?? When it arrived, we heard all the pieces moving around in the box. Then, we had to open it to send pictures as proof which was also a little dangerous. We got our refund, but no apologies or explanation, so their customer service sucks, too.Fortunately, we found a Chemex on eBay for far cheaper AND they know how to package glass products. It came all in one piece thankfully. How do shops on eBay know how to package glass and not a company that ships almost exclusively glass products? Don't order from Chemex, go to eBay and save yourself the trouble.
