I bought a pair of plain black patent ballet flat shoes from Clarks shoe shop in Swansea Quadrant shopping centre this afternoon. I am very pleased with the shoes, as they are good quality, are well made and are comfortable. They look smart and are perfect for work. The heel of the shoes is not to high. I was served by a nice young lady called Nadine, who was polite, helpful, efficient and friendly. The service that I received from her was excellent. Thank you very much.

I had to take my grand daughter to Clark’s in broadway bradford (14/02/26) to have feet measured got served by Lacey & Sameer honestly got wonderful Customer Service never mind 100% got 120% and extra thanks to Lacey for showing me different design shoes for my grand daughter and purchased a pair I liked. I would recommend Clark’s Broadway Bradford due good customer service.

I was told from the responder of my second review to raise my experiences as a complaint. I have done so and have not had even a slight bit of attention or glimpse of a resolution. They keep repeating about refunds (x2 separate complaints I’ve raised about the same issue) which isn’t what I want and I made it extremely clear. Have a look for yourself! Hello,I purchased some shoes in the sales section for my 85 year old grandma at Christmas, really nice shoes but unfortunately she struggled with the width of them. I thought, well I’ve purchased from Clark’s, they look after their customers… I’ll just swap them for some different ones after Christmas. Unfortunately, with the holidays and my grandmas forgetfulness I only managed to take them back after the 2 weeks leeway, approx 4 days late. I walked into the Teesside store I purchased them from and explained I know they’re out of time but I was just hoping for a straight swap for some shoes that were in fact more expensive and to pay the difference. I was met with, oh no company policy we can’t do a thing. I explained I work in rituals and usually as a gesture of goodwill we would always do a straight swap if unused. These shoes aren’t my size, don’t fit my grandma and are now useless… which is such a waste! I understand company policy, I really do. But Clark’s pride themselves on being a reliable company and surely you would care more about your customers more than some words on a policy? Very disappointed, life has moved fast over Christmas and that should have been met with understanding and some sort of resolution that not only benefits that stores sale figures when I buy something more expensive in exchange but also my grandma who will feel like it was her fault now. I also contacted customer services previously and the person who didn’t even read what I wrote said I can’t get a refund because it’s out of two weeks which isn’t what I asked for. I put my review on Trustpilot and was told this was ‘not typical of the service we offer and please accept my apologies for the disappointment caused’. So I’m back here again, asking if there is anything I can do with these shoes or whether Clarks are wasting my time replying with empty words. My local store is Hartlepool so I can bring them over and swap them for something there and then if granted. Awaiting your final response. Final response was: ‘Dear Emily, Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Please accept my apologies for the delay in our response. As per our policy, your shoes would need to be returned in their original unworn condition within 28 days (14 days for sale) to receive a refund. We would no longer be able to accept this return. I understand that you contacted Customer Care to receive a solution to this issue, but in regard to in store purchases we unfortunately cannot override the return period or do anything as this has to be resolved with the store. I understand that you have already gone to the store, and they were not able to assist, and I really wish I could help you with this, but we are unable to assist with returns of store purchases. Thank you again for taking the time to contact us. I appreciate that this may not be the response you were hoping for, and I sincerely apologise for the disappointment this causes.Kind regards,Radhiyyah MClarks Customer Care’ This is almost identical to the previous correspondence which makes me confident is probably copied and pasted. Genuinely shocked and bewildered at the company in 2026… id get better service in primark!

Thanks for two previous responses Stephanie.But why does the Clarks Outlet website still proclaim: "Great news! You've qualified for Free Delivery" when you sepnd over £40?Because the following screen defaults to: "Express Delivery by EVRi£5.95 (within 2 working days)"Copied and pasted from the site.The default seemd to operate on - if purchase over £40 then go to £5.95 delivery. Why not go to FREE delivery?
Purchased my sons school shoes in september. By January they had broken...not along a seem but straight across the top. The leather just pulled apart. I messaged customer service as they promised 6 months when i bought them. No reply. I ordered new shoes 2 weeks ago. Evri page shows as pending delivery since 13th Feb. Still nothing. I called customer services who have reordered them and said i should have them by today.... still no message or confirmation. I was promised a manager call back by yesterday. Still nothing. I cant believe how down hill Clarks have gone.
