Terrible food that nearly choked my…
Terrible food that nearly choked my elderly disabled Mum. The chicken was overcooked and so dry!! Service was good until I complained and then they didn’t give a shit! FYI I complained after I paid but they just didn’t care

BREAKFAST
Called in for breakfast this morning, restaurant manager didn’t make us feel welcome and sat us in the first booth which was in a draft and very cold. Gave us menus, despite the breakfast menu stating help yourself to toast, as non-residents you are not allowed and it cost us £4.95 for 2 slices on top of the cost of the full English. Breakfast was okay, bacon & sausage nice quality. Mushrooms were awful had some form of seasoning on, which did not go with an English Breakfast, more suited to an evening meal which left us wondering if they were using them up from last night’s Christmas Party. I had 2 poached eggs, 1 was over-cooked and the other undercooked, not sure how they managed that. Would not return given the lack of welcome, being treated differently from residents and the average breakfast but at a high cost. We’ve had better at some Premier Inns, so expected more from such a nice looking hotel. Very disappointed.
