Advertising on Facebook and my Dad tried to buy garden storage SCAM They then tried to take money out on debit card in America called bank and cancelled cards.. TOTAL SCAM DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I ordered a lens, they sent the wrong ring size. Contacted them, they shipped it straight away. The shipment came with sweets too! lol. The customer service people we very kind too!
I have ordered a cannon CG-800 but received different item. I tried to contact the phone number provided on their website no answer whatsoever after few emails They provided mw with an address in Spain to return the item whom I did but money never been refunded despite receiving an email that they have received the item. Paypal investigating. This company have no relation whatsoever with the UK no address mentioned on their website they are based in Spain, you have been warned stay away
I purchased the above lens from Photo24 on Amazon but it came in a DigitalToyShop box. When opened it was immediately clear that the lens was not new. There was dust in the box, a piece of old used sticky tape and marks on the bayonet mount showing it had been previously mounted to a camera. Not good enough.
Note: This review has already been placed for digitaltoyshop.co.uk. However, I have noticed that they also trade under .com; their emails are from .com; so I am in effect re-pasting this under .com, just to warn others. Also - I have now raised a formal Dispute with PayPal; and digitaltoyshop.com / .co.uk have 20 days to resolve this. I see that some other reviewers have called this company 'cowboys'. I will wait and see how long it takes them to refund my money - and if necessary, I will put an update in here. I ordered and paid for a tripod, which their website said they had in stock. They took my money, and later emailed me saying that it was 'stuck in customs'; so could they send me different colour. My main concern is that they took my money when they should have known that they could not supply what I ordered. This was not what ordered or wanted, so I asked for my money back; and asked them to confirm that I would get it back. I am waiting for that confirmation. Their setup seems strange, as I ordered through a website that they labelled as 'Photo24' - which made it sound like they were photo specialists.
A previous reviewer called Digital Toyshop "cowboys". You must have caught them on a good day; they give cowboys a bad name. This was my second bad experience - more fool me. The battery grip I received was not the item that I ordered (and paid for) even though it was in the box for the correct item; also, it didn't work. Two weeks later, they admitted that their supplier owned up to the wrong item being supplied. It has taken a further month and I have admitted defeat to write off the 76 Euros . They attempted to dismiss my grievance as having been resolved, despite them not actually doing anything to resolve the matter. I persuaded a relative to hold the parcel for return, as requested. At the last minute, the relative was told by 'phone that they needed to have some, previously unmentioned, documentation or the parcel would be rejected by TNT.
I ordered a flash gun for my camera, the site said it was in stock. Also ordered some rechargable batteries and charger. 3 weeks later, after much chasing, and emails recieved in broken english, a parcel arrived. flashgun yes, battery charger and batteries yes, UK model - NO!!! european battery charger!! despite specifically ordering a UK one. tried to phone DTS - phone rings out then goes dead. after phoning all their stores, got to speak with advisor who spoke little english, refused to help and told me to email them. Shocking. I should have twigged that this wasnt going to be a good experience when Barclaycard fraud squad phoned me after placing my order, questioning the legitimacy of my order. Definately wont be repeating the mistake.
Although there was a delay in the delivery due to a supplier the customer service I relieved was brilliant! Lense is brilliant quality and even comes with a 5 year warranty. Will definitely use digitaltoyshop again!

I ordered wholly online although there are various regional (UK) order lines, but I imagine they may be redirected to Spain perhap. The price was substantially cheaper than the few UK companies to stock the camera lens I was ordering. Carriage prices were very reasonable (same as if ordering from UK). I ordered late on Friday evening and the item arrives Tuesday 10am which is practically 1 working day - from Spain! They even threw in a couple of extra lens adaptor rings one of which fits my camera without asking. So overall very impressed.
