the worst experience, it was given to my daughter for her birthday, it was activated, and after 3 months it still doesn't work, every time I call they say that it needs to be activated, the card was activated 3 months ago, every time I go to customer service to ask for a card change they always find an excuse not to do the replacement, I made transactions 4 times in different stores and the transaction was always denied. Better to think about other gift ideas and not the EMAAR GIFT CARD, stay away.

What a headache. ..they were not able to generate my pin and I wanted hours and the card was not accepted in the store ...now I have money which is unusable on the card...emmar service is horrible ...spoiled my anniversary gift for my wife

Activated my card which I received as a gift.Used less than half of the amount on the card and i requested an extension as my mother was quite ill in the hospital and then passed away and i was not about to go shopping at that time.I was told that the card could be used until the end on July only and when I went to the store on the morning of the 31st my card was declined.So many calls to customer care and then emails as well and they said it expired on the 30th and according to their policy that is considered to be the end of the month.I even accepted that maybe it was a misunderstanding on my part but the lady wouldn’t oblige.Anyway I am still struggling to contact them and there is no reply.

Got it as a gift
Got it as a gift , used half the money ,Forgot the password and since then called 4 times to get it reactivated. Till then the and got expired. Called again because ethe inefficient customer servuce told me to wait and someone will call. Ofcourse no one called and now when I enquired I was being told its expired again and they sent me sms !!!! When I was waiting for a call why will I check sms which are all bulks. Very disappointing and do not recommend. How ever I do recommend that they use my balance cash for good customer servuce training and followup

I had a gift card and I activated it and verified my activation via the call center. While at the mall the card was rejected at all stores and I called the customer service helpless, uninformed and very very rude. Took him over 20 minutes to tell me there is nothing they can do other than an escalation and he's not evening aware of how long it might take to resolve my issue. Never again using this card. Unreliable

i used to love it till the moment i needed to talk to the very rude unhelpful customer service of that department... very unorganised and rude and helpless unfortunately was chocked with such huge name and bad staff... never buy again...
