If I could give them zero stars I…

If I could give them zero stars I would.I have sent 36 emails to them, and only one has been answered. They are representing Scottish widows, as I have put in a complaint to Scottish for non payment of my pension. They have asked for evidence which I have sent, to prove I have not received my pension.Do not use this company they are a joke

Worse than useless

Totally incompetant. Lost documents -- a signed mortgage deed!! As a result, at the point of completion, we had to download and print a fresh deed, drive over to Margate to sign and get it witnessed and express mail it back to Konexo. At this very point our valuation expired so we had to pay an additional fee and wait while the report was carried out, sent back and the offer renewed. My own excellent solicitor was totally appalled!!!! They repeatedly raised queries that were not necessary (Chancel search) -- and asked for more information on a whole host of the information already sent back.As a result we are some £2500 out of pocket. They offered £200Rumour has it that Legal and General have fired them.

Eversheds represented Wessex water at…

Eversheds represented Wessex water at Taunton court on 8 may 2024 saying Wessex water is innocent of permit breaches in regard to overflows so court ordered me to pay £2275 costs as innocence is a complete defence despite Wessex water being sentenced for permit breaches in regard to overflows on 28 February 2024 I have sent exact copies of 28 February environment agency sentence letters plus the investigation report from assistant director of environment agency who says Wessex water solicitor lied to eversheds compliance officer who has taken months to investigate and still wants more time...eversheds lied to the court and asked for costs based on that lie now they drag out simple investigation for months...be very careful with this firm as they don't mind lieing to court....I dare eversheds to take legal action against me in my claims they were fundamentally dishonest to court

Konexo yet again

Konexo yet again, as with others - arrogant inefficient and utterly incompetent. Seem to believe that they know best about everything - and if its not done their way, they will collapse the deal... and take forever to do it. Six months of frustration and then the purchase collapsed, everyone involved was totally exasperated. If Konexo are involved in your equity deal, run away immediately, you have been warned.

An experience - you have to experience, to believe in.

I share similar experiences as others here, in dealing with "Eversheds-Sutherland" also known as "Konexo". An appalling experience of legal mis-management, delays and so on. I was porting over, an equity drawdown, from my home to another. It should have taken, this part of the "house" sell and buy, about 2 weeks. Instead it took 5 weeks and I was tearing my hair out. There was a serious risk of the whole deal collapsing. So, I took this to the CEO of my "equity drawdown" provider. I was super impressed with the person's intervention, who made a valuable contribution to the final resolution, which literal was sorted at the very last hour. ( It would not be "professional" of me to name the provider of my equity provider. Suffice to say this person has taken seriously my complaint.) I could write all day about this, but suffice to say, it was the same as others. The process being dragged on and on and on. Emails taken days to be replied to. And so on. I am retired and in my professional career, I have conversed and dealt with lawyers in London, New York, LA and Tokio. I have never experienced such a shambolic level of so called "customer care." Trust me, you have to go through the experience to believe it; avoid !!

Black Horse “wins” again – but is this justice, Eversheds Sutherland?

On 6 February 2023 my claim against Black Horse over the sale of a caravan in June 2013 went before another county court judge. Once again it was thrown out, this time on grounds that included it being “totally without merit”. Another reason given was that my claim was “an abuse of process” and I was accused of “attempting to re-litigate issues that were or could and should have been raised in the earlier proceedings.” It is worth noting here that my new claim came about because one of the main issues we had originally raised, vis- a-vis adding extras to the hire purchase agreement, had now ceased. This was evidence that at least the practice had been accepted as being wrong by the two companies that had been overcharging in this way, even though they would not admit any such wrongdoing to us.At the opening of his judgment the judge stated:-‘ … And upon reading, amongst other things, the email of the Claimant dated 6 December 2022, together with attachments…’He then went on to order that ‘This claim is dismissed’.Below, slightly edited, are the contents of the email that the judge referred to, which I had addressed to the Court Manager.‘I wish to express my deep concern that another mis-carriage of justice may be about to occur and I am appealing for steps to be taken to stop it in its tracks. With my email to you of 20th October 2022 I attached an article about banks “deliberately ramping up court costs with expensive barristers” and “using their financial advantage to fund expensive legal teams” in order to “defeat legitimate claims”. Although this is in relation to the mis-sold PPI scandal I believe my wife and I were victims of similar tactics in 2018 when our claim against Bourne Leisure (BL) and Black Horse (BH) was high jacked by the solicitors and we ended up attending their hearing instead of ours… I believe this is happening again with my current claim...‘I assert that Deputy District Judge … was mis-led by the barristers acting for BL and BH in June 2018 during the hearing … and three vital documents were never … considered at the time. As a result of the judge’s apparent lack of knowledge of Consumer Credit Law his conclusions were at variance with those of Mr …, a barrister with expertise in such matters, who had given me informal advice over the telephone on the issues involved. I also believe that the Court was deliberately overwhelmed with a plethora of superfluous material comprising 850 pages, (a large portion of which … originated from me and supported our case). To my dismay I see a similar situation developing in BH’s Defence to my current claim...‘When I filed my claim online I assumed the three sales documents would speak for themselves and that a judge would soon be able to assess where the truth lay and make a judgment without the need for another hearing, particularly as BL had ceased from mis-selling caravans in the manner we had complained about previously. I gave a brief outline of my claim …, a timeline of events, a list of the three documents supporting the claim and a breakdown of the amount being claimed. My claim details comprise three pages and apart from a Directions Questionnaire I have not been asked by the Court to submit anything further, not even a Witness Statement. However, I have now been inundated again with a bundle comprising 50+ pages from the Defendant’s solicitors, with great emphasis given to the previous case in an apparent effort to influence the outcome of the current one, which is not fair or just.'It is also claimed that the issue was litigated in 2018 which is not true as since the beginning of the 2020 season BL has stopped including first year site fees and running costs as part of the cash price of caravans sold on hire purchase. If, as was claimed during the previous case, there was nothing wrong with including all these “extras” as part of the hire purchase loan, why has the practice now stopped? This is something BL and BH should be made to explain. It is clear to me that over the years BL have sold numerous caravans and holiday homes to BH at cash prices that far exceeded the true value of the dwellings and that these in turn grossly inflated the size of customers’ hire purchase repayments. Certainly it is a matter that the Financial Conduct Authority ought to investigate.’In view of the above it is clear that the judge totally ignored what I wrote to the Court Manager and the solicitors, Eversheds Sutherland LLP, once again achieved for their client exactly what they were paid to achieve – but is this justice?

Conveyancing via Konexo / Evershed-Sutherland

We had arranged an equity release mortgage & almost lost the offer due to delays & apparent inefficiency by Konexo conveyancing people. It took 6 months to get them to enable completion & our highly experienced solicitor was at his wits end trying to get them to seal the deal. Our lender assisted in the end as we complained direct to them, but it should not have been necessary to involve them. Cannot recommend them in any way at all & will avoid any future dealings with Konexo.

Absolutely disgraceful.

Absolutely disgraceful.Create delays in returning correspondence.I have doubt in there ability to interpret the law.Would never use personally but they are disrupting my life.I understand why they have 100% bad reviews. They must wear this as a badge of honour when it is more like dishonour! It will be interesting to see if these remarks create any action from them.Really disgracefully bad.

100% bad reviews . Enough said

Any company with 100% bad reviews has to be avoided . My experience of them is they are blood sucking leechest. They Charged 2 80 year old pensioners with cancer and dementia over £100 k for legal work that wasn't needed. Evershites were ordered twice by a Judge to stop harassing the 2 pensioners. Their bogus claim was dismissed in court.

Conveyance services

Conveyance services - Very hard to get hold, unnecessarily holding up my grandmothers move and the complete chain. We’ve been informed everything looks good but they need to sign it off. Why not just sign it off... it’s been months and still hasn’t gone forward.
