Buyer beware

Beware before you order. It’s also takes over a month to get it even if pay for expressThe wig I ordered was almost $500. Soon as I opened the box to try it on the braids started to unravel immediately . This was the second time I ordered from them and will be my last. I emailed them no response. I can get a cheaper wig with better quality. Wish I could add photos.

Would give negative stars if possible. Ordered a wig and paid for express delivery and also added cost to take pics of final product prior to shipping. They were unresponsive to my emails and past the 4-10 day period for shipping. I cancelled with my credit card company and the wig store gave me such a hard time, sent me the tracking codes after I sent them the cancellation of order email and then two days later sent pics. They even USPS mailed an empty envelope to me and told my credit card company that items were shipped and received. Luckily I kept the package which reflected the weight of 0.5 lbs. what wig is made of air and would be that light in weight?!?! Then some, what I can only describe as a hood rat, emailed me obscenities calling me a liar saying I never emailed them after sending confirm sent receipt email. Literally run away from these crooks and liars. I wish I could attach pics of the emails they sent me. SMH

Ordered a box braid wig paid over…

Ordered a box braid wig paid over 300.00 us dollars. Wig arrived with braids falling out. Had a dispute with klarna these people told klarna I had been in a fight and someone had snatched out the braids. 😡🤬...WHAT??!!... Not only did they take my money but called me a hoodrat. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!!

I was just about to order a micro braid…

I was just about to order a micro braid wig. I am writing this because I did not get a chance to order it. I was given a code which would permit me a 10% discount by email. I put it in my order and the response was I could not use it because what is being produced for me is already discounted. Thereafter, I got a "funny feeling" and I read the reviews and I decided to keep my 281.00 dollars

These people are horrible

These people are horrible. I am a cancer survivor that lost all my hair due to chemo. So, i am already sad, challenged and just trying to feel normal and or like a woman. I ordered a honey blonde boho wig with full lace, 700.00 wig. It took over a month i was good with that but when i opened box, i got a reddish wig. I was so very sad and disappointed. I immeadiately took pictures and emailed them. 700 is too much to spend and not get what you paid for.Their response was we sent you what you ordered and we wont exchange. I was floored even with clear pictures they denied it. I sent copy of my order, their website photo and again what they sent. Refused to acknowledge or exchange!! Totally ignored me. I will never ever do business with them and i will never recommend them. They never answer phone a refuse to respond. Awful service and people. How do they think this is okay. They need to be ashamed of how they treat people. BEWARE

Ordered a wig on August 25

Ordered a wig on August 25, 2023. Have not received the wig as yet. Every time you try to call, they send you a text saying that they are with a customer and to send an inquiry. They respond days later saying that they will send tracking information but no further information is sent. Very poor customer service. Would never order from them again.XxxxUPDATE:-xxxxx Finally received the wig I ordered with a reasonable explanation. The wig smelt really good and definitely worth the price. The fit was perfect.

Reasonable

Ordered a wig August 18, 2023. Have not recieved the wig nor an email or update about the order. Have sent several emails and text. Was told they would look into the matter and get back to me. That was weeks ago. No response sense! Asked for a refund several times now. NOTHING!! got a shipment message from USPS that they recieved a expect an order to be recieved for delivery weeks ago now. But still has not moved or been recieved by usps. They are still waiting on the order to deliver it. Today is October 13, 2023. NOTHING STILL!! NEVER AGAIN!! ***UPDATE***I finally received my wig. Turns out the USPS lost my order. So they made me a new wig and sent it right away. Thank God! So I'm changing my review. Because they fix the issue as promised and in a decent time frame. I now give them 5 stars. The wig is great! Color and quality is as pic shown.

Heavy!

I had received two wigs from them and they were useless. Had a very bad smell. The parting was awful and looked so fake. Poor quality of wigs and they were super heavy, definitely prepare to sweat if you wear during the summer. This was around two years ago and even though they may have improved their wigs (unsure) I'm not wasting any additional money to find out. It's hard to find braided wigs that won't weigh you down. I perfer lighter and shorter options now. I shop at wow african if I need high quality.

Don’t buy from ExpressWigBraids!

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!I’ve never dealt with such unprofessionalism and terrible customer service as I’ve had to deal to with this company! I understand that I ordered the wig during the holiday season, but it arrived over a month late(purchased November 19 2022 and received February 16 2023). I was patient and understanding but they never even sent any messages to provide an update on it. I purchased the wig for a trip overseas so I was excited for it. It wasn’t until a few days before my departure when I reached out to them. Someone conveniently emailed right away and they stated that they’d mail it the next day. Low and behold, the wrong color wig was received. I notified them the same day and took a photo as proof. The wig was returned to the original packaging and not touched again. Since I was leaving the next day, I was unable to send it back. They asked if I could send it back for an exchange when I returned. I initially agreed but had to change my hair plans for my trip. When I returned, I concluded that there was no need for the wig since I wasn’t able to wear the wig for my original intended purpose. Since they were already going to take back the wig they sent, there shouldn’t be an issue with a rerun since they were at fault anyways as THEIR policy clearly states. Boy was I wrong! I wish I could tell you that I was met with an understanding and rational response…but I can’t…at all. It’s been almost a month and I’m still pleading my case for a return. Their reasoning is that they can’t do a refund for hygienic reasons and I waited too long to notify them. That makes no sense since they were going to take the original wig they sent me anyways. I also notified them within 24 hours when they first sent the wrong wig and again when I returned back home and first requested a refund. I have proof of this with screenshots of the emails. I’ve requested to speak with a manager which has been dogged. I called their number and no one ever answered or got back to me. So it looks like they’re purposely ignoring me now. This ordeal has been so emotionally and physically draining.I’ve never dealt with such a frustrating situation. They clearly don’t care about their customers and don’t adhere to their own policy. A return was already authorized, so they could easily refund my money in order to be fair and preserve the professional relationship for future business.So do yourselves a favor and find another company for braided wigs. Otherwise, your might deal with a similar mess like this. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!I never dealt with such unprofessionalism and terrible customer service as I’ve had to deal to with this company! Buyer Beware Of This Company

I purchased two ready to ship wigs. When I received them, I returned both of them the next day. As long as they send you the correct wig regardless how it looks to you or feel on you, you will not get your money back. Now you may be able to exchange it, if it is approved by them. You have to pay to return it and they also deduct $12 from when it was originally shipped to you. The wigs I order were extremely heavy to wear. This company only communicate through chats, texts and/or emails. When I gave my honest review about each wig on their website, they did not post it!

Anything good requires time they say

Anything good requires time they say. I had a great experience ordering from Express. I initially reached out to the customer service before placing my order and they answered all questions. I was concerned about the size due to the reason that I have a very small head size with no hair as I suffer from alopecia. It is a custom wig which is professional crafted. The braids are very neat, equal sizes and braided to the end. I am a satisfied customer and it was worth the wait

It’s still isn’t here I ordered 2/13/22, I was told 6-8 weeks today is exactly 8 weeks haven’t heard from them except for the two emails I sent inquiring about the wig. The customer service is rude but I should have expected it from reading on their website. Never again will I order from this company.

I ordered a custom wig and it was made…

I ordered a custom wig and it was made exactly how i wanted it. They informed me of the time it was going to take and i received my wig earlier than the processing time. They show you the timeframe on the website. It looked like i got my hair braided of which i got a lot of compliments.

Don’t ask for any mixed colors. They only do plain colors.

I asked for the 2tone 1b/27 mixed with the 2 tone 1b/30 color to created a mixed color like the c27/30 that they offer and I had to escalate a paypal claim because they refused to do my order unless I sent them $60 extra dollars. 27/30 is made by combining two colors 27 and 30. I just wanted the black at the top the. C27/30 or the mix27/30. They told me I was a bad customer and that they encourage customers like me not to order from them. Go to their website and check their color options and you’ll see them listed.

I suffer alopecia and ordered from…

I suffer alopecia and ordered from express wig braids. The mail came in today and it looks even better than the picture on the website and smells so good. I also got an email from this company offering free wigs to women who suffer hair loss due to alopecia, cancer and all under their csr program. I applied and got approved to get a free braided wig . I love what this company is doing and I will always support them. They are just the best. Thank you ladies for sharing your talent and doing so much to the helpless. Stay blessed. Linda

Dis-honest Lace Front Wig Companies

On June 1 2020 I placed a order for 1 Allison/16-18 "/lace front wig with the company Express Wig Braids. I then received a confirmation email that they received my order. A while went by and I did not receive a follow up e-mail with the shipping date/tracking information. I eventualy contacted the company Express Wig Braids.com, about the shipping date and was given a statement about their websites policies, and they referred me to read their policy. This happened several more times ..I was upset because I had paid the company in full up-front, yet I could not get a real date as to when the product would be shipped. I had paid 200.00. I received on July 20, 2020 a rumpled soiled white envelope delivered by USPS. When I opened the package I was totally horrified not only was there a very strong odor, the enclosed wig was not at all like the wig shown on their website. It was not something anyone would wear out in public ..it had tracks showing in the back and had been hastily and poorly put together. Needless to say, I knew that I had to take photos to document this sale. The experience is one that I hope no one else has to go through! Shame on you Express Wig Braids!
