Took my car in because it broke down, not starting!! They said I needed a new exhaust system on a 2016 vehicle!! Picked it up. The next day broke down, stalled!!! Took it somewhere else! Told me I only needed a new fuel pump and spark plugs!!! Charged 8500.00 for exhaust!!! They will not refund me for wrong diagnosis!! Area manager Mary. Will not work with me! Knowing that she knows this place has done the same BS to other customers, she told me!! Regional Manager will not call me back!! This place and company is a rip off!! Cost me a car
20+ year Firestone customer. Was taking multiple cars to the Gahanna location, who caused me to scrap one of my cars. I had an accord with 70k miles. I have in writing on the invoices that they checked the wrong mileage by under tens of thousands. Even when I argued saying more work was needed, they pushed back. Then November of 2025 the transmission breaks and I had to scrap the car. A paid off vehicle with 70k miles gone in an instant. Connected with area manager who gave me false hope, argued with me, and then ghosted me. The Firestone brand makes me ill, I miss my car, they have cause me and my family financial issues along with pain and suffering. I picked “12/3/2025” as the date of experience because that’s when I emailed the area manager to tell him the car broke and wanted to connect before I scrapped it - then he just didn’t respond until I kept following up.

AVOID FIRESTONE
AVOID FIRESTONE. My friend paid them to replace the AC compressor 2 years ago. I bought the car from him and that compressor died after just ONE summer with a massive oil leak. A compressor should last YEARS, not one season. Firestone installed a garbage part, took the money, and left the next owner dealing with the mess. This is unacceptable. ZERO stars. Reporting to the BBB.

Incompetence, Rude, and Obnoxious
Ordered a set of 4 tires. Took the day off from work to get these installed only to be told that the delivery driver only delivered 3 tires. Who needs 3 tires when your clearly need 4. The incompetence with this shop is beyond anything I have ever seen or dealt with and I was a mechanic for 21 years. The lady at the front is rude and obnoxious and does not need to be interacting with our servicemembers and veterans. (Schofield Barracks Hawaii) If they allowed negative stars, this place deserves -5.

It is apparent Firestone does not care…
It is apparent Firestone does not care about customers. They don’t respond to these reviews. They set revenue expectations for their stores and the managers sell their morals for putting people’s lives at risk due to complete negligence and disregard for people’s hard earned money on repairs they do not fix and lies they tell. The mechanics do not perform thorough checks. My husband had misfires and they said spark plugs and never checked the drivetrain, U-joints; anything else that could be life threatening if it dropped out of the truck while being operated. Apply $1,200 bandaids to a potential complete failure of the truck to drive IS INSANE! You should be ashamed, but you’re not. I will warn as many as I can to steer clear of your unethical business practices.

2007 Cadillac DTS Work Order#250453
I took my 2007 Cadi DTS to Firestone on Bannister Rd in KCMO on 09-12-2025 to repair a cracked or broken brake line. Under work order#250453. Prior to 09-12-25 I had the vehicle up a Firestone to check the brakes for a trip out of town. I find it hard to believe that they didn't see any kind of leak during this time. They kept my vehicle for almost a month and I have still been unable to drive the vehicle safely due to the peddle going all the way to the ground. I called the corporate office multiple times requesting a call from the Regional Manager and they never called me back, no once. Perhaps this will prompt them to contact me and get my vehicle back in working condition. I spend way to much money at FIRESTONE over the years for them to treat a customer this way.

Unneeded service
They have worked on my car for a couple of years now. But no more. The work they performed was barely ok, but they try and get more out of you by hard selling services you do not need. I have caught them 3 times now trying to do that. I feel bad for the people that are not mechanically smart.

I bought a set of tires from this location last year. One of the tires has a slow leak, and I need to add air to it about once a month. I have stopped by here on three separate occasions and asked them to fix it. However, each time I was asked to come back later, it was because they were short-staffed or too busy at the time. I Will Not do business there again.

Firestone $50 Gift Card not worth it…
Firestone promoting $50 Gift Card if I booked an online appt -then they make it nearly impossible to figure out how to claim it (and I own a digital tech agency). On top of that the service was terrible. This has brought it back why I stopped going there! I'm not even going to pursue the gift card because I don't ever want to go back.

Nasty attitude towards client in Firestone
I change my tires in Firestone 14905 Pacific Ave S, Tacoma, WA 98444. few month later when I have flat tire I am find out all my tire pressure sensors is misplaced .Computer showing right side but flat tire on left side . I make appointment , come over on time . I haven't seen such a nasty attitude towards clients in long time. First representative said Just a second and come back 20 min later after this said just a minute and talk on the phone for 20 minute After this he ask $125.00 for fix a flat tire and replace the sensors from side to side . Normally tire repair in Firestone cost $19.95 but replace wheels from side to side without removing tires is $26.25 for each one? Also why I have to pay for they mistakes? Finally I said OK just do that, he said I have to wait 2-2.5 hours . This is how the Firestone work on 14905 Pacific Ave S, Tacoma, WA 98444 .You schedule appointment come on time wait for a hour before somebody talk to you after this you agree to pay for all previous mistakes and have to wait for another 2.5 hours. Perfect service !!!

I visited Firestone Complete Auto Care at 3650 Stine Rd, Bakersfield, on Nov. 5, 2025 for a routine alignment. The vehicle was in perfect condition. After the service it returned with the ABS, brake system and traction control lights on and I was told to drive it 20 miles.While driving on Hwy 99 the brakes completely failed — a life-threatening situation. The next morning I had to tow it to Lexus where they found major ECU/electrical damage likely caused by the shop’s work.Extremely disappointed and alarmed by this gross negligence. I cannot recommend this location.

Crooks. Thieves. Conmen. There's a coupon for a $39.99 full synthetic oil change on their website. I clicked to use the coupon, then clicked through to make an appointment at that specific location; this coupon is literally the only reason I went there for my oil change. When I arrived, I said that I had the $39.99 coupon; the guy said he would apply it. An hour later, when I returned for pickup, my bill was over $90. The guy at the register (not the previous guy) said the coupon was only for traditional oil. Nope! Showed him the coupon. He went and spoke to the manager, returned, said, "If you read the fine print, you'll see it's at select locations." I asked to speak to the manager myself (apologizing profusely for being "that guy"), who told me they wouldn't honor the coupon and offered to discount down to $76, still nearly double the advertised price. Absolute scumbag business practices. Go literally anywhere else.

There techs are not educated or just don’t give a damn. I swapped out 2021 pen dodgers ram rebel tires and wheels to my 2019 ram rebel. I don’t know what the confusion was but you can definitely change tpms sensors from my year vehicle to the 2021 s I got from my cousin brand new never drove on. I paid 250 dollars plus tax and the next day TPMs sensor came back on. They now want to charge me an additional fee of $120 a tire for new ones. It’s a simple reset. I asked questions to no reply. Very rude. Where I’m from this problem would have been solved in 10 minutes. NYC. Bunch of lazy slacker mechanics that don’t know nothing. Save your money and go to mannys tires. Anyway I’m tired of Florida and the tednecks down here. Going back up north where people know what they’re doing. Eff fire stone. They suck

They will destroy certain parts on your car and than tell you that you have to change them and for the price that will hurt you badly. I will file law suit very soon and I will teach them that commercial crime doesn't pay, but hurt Be smart and just stay away from that shop.

Way Too Expensive
I made a 10:30 appointment to have my serpentine belt and tensioner replaced. I waited in the store while the work was being done. Estimate was 1-2 hours wait time. After 2 hours, the manager took me to the mechanic to show me what was wrong (rear brakes, rack and pinion, etc.) The parts had not been ordered at that point. I told the counter man I just wanted the belt and tensioner because he said the rack and pinion alone would be "well over $5000". He tried hard for me to get my back brakes done at the same time. I said no. Meanwhile, the mechanic showed me the tensioner and showed the shaft was bent. Tensioners don't get a bent shaft by themselves. I also think he loosened my battery cable to get me to buy new cables. He suggested that I get new spark plus. I replaced the plugs a month ago, I sat there for 4 hours to have a belt replaced. Also, they double the cost of parts. The Auto zone belt is $44. They charged me$116.99. The Auto Zone tensioner costs $132. They charged me $257.99. The total for the work was $725.16. Needless to say, I am not going back to Firestone Auto Care. IMO, it's a rip off. Yes, they do good work, but they overcharge for the work. If you have a choice, don't go to Firestone Auto Care.

Appointments Don't Matter
I made an appointment at 10:00 a.m. on September 7, 2025, for five new tires and an oil change. I arrived at the appointment as scheduled and was told the job would take two and a half hours, so I didn't wait there at the store. 12:30pm, it came and went, then 1:30pm came and went. So, at 1:45pm, I called to check on the status of the work. I was told, "We're still working on it". At 2:07pm, I got an alert on my phone, saying that my tire pressure was low. (I have an app that will allow me to lock and unlock my vehicle and it notifies me of any issues it tracks with it as well). So, according to my app, my vehicle wasn't even TOUCHED until 2:07pm! At 3:45pm, I got a call stating that the vehicle is ready to be picked up and was asked if I wasn't going to be able to make it to the shop to pick it up by 4:15pm, they would have to close the shop and I would have to pick up my vehicle the next day! I don't live far from the QC shop where my vehicle was, so I made it by 4:00pm.When I voiced my displeasure that a two-and-a-half-hour job turned into an almost 6-hour job, and that I knew they didn't even touch my vehicle until 4 hours after my SCHEDULED appointment, I was met with, "At least it's done". Really? DO BETTER. Do better all around. Had I waited, would my vehicle have been done in the said two and a half hours? Makes no sense to me. I requested a call from the store manager, Ryan, two days ago, but there was no callback. I asked to be contacted by corporate to let them know how I was treated in their store, but I received no callback. Just wow. Update: As of today 9/22/25 I have still not heard anything from Ryan the manager, or the customer service department for Firestone.
