Make a fix for cowls not lasting

I asked service lady about a recall issue on my wifes 2018 explorer with side pillars by the windshield and she said they could take care of it as soon as parts were available again, I also asked her about the cowl which is the black strip that lays on the bottom of the windshield coming apart and she said they would check into when they did the recall service. Well that led to nothing after trying to get it covered. I have never heard anyone talk about this piece in my life and I drive another Ford myself (my 4th one) and its 21 years old and not a problem but this 7 year old vehicle has the problem and want almost $600 (part only) for this piece of plasticIm not a happy camper, they replaced something that was as normal as can be and left this damaged piece that makes a god awful noise while driving down the road if you dont put a piece of duct tape across the top of it sealing it to the windshield

Faulty engine from factory

Purchased 2017 ford edge new . It had the faulty 2.0 engine which ford knew about and failed to deal with . One day I smelt antifreeze in garage when wife started car , which is tell talk sign of failed head gasket . Took to dealer which lied and didn’t mention this in report. Blamed other things but never mentioned head gasket as problem which everyone l led is the problem due to failed design . Bought a 2024 edge same trim package only to find lots of short cuts and corners cut . This is our last ford because they are liars and cut corners ! Beware

sleep mode since I've had it. Ford has put two batteries in it. Ford tells me driving the maverick hybrid every day is not enough to keep the batte

I have a 2023 Ford Maverick hybrid. Even though i drive the Maverick hybrid every day Fird says my mileage is not enough to keep the 12v. battery charged and prevent it going in sleep mode. When asked what's recommended. They don't know but they know I don't drive it enough. Check the Maverick forums, there's a problem with a Maverick hybrid and Ford won't admit it.40 year Ford customer, no more

I rarely write reviews but here I am!!

I rarely write reviews but here I am, I purchased my vehicle December 18,2023 apparently there was a recall (CSP 22N15) on Models like mine on December 12, 2023, I was unaware!! When I purchased the vehicle the inspection sticker was good until 1/26, a month later my son was killed tragically on 1/26!! So when January of 2026 finally came I was so relieved to to finally go get that little sticker removed as a constant sad reminder of that date!! So I went the NJ motor vehicle inspection station on what was the coldest day ever (-10 degrees) and waited what seemed like forever outside to get rejected for emissions NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!! What a 6 year old vehicle not passing inspection!?!? Crazy!?!? So they ran it through again only to be given a lot of information on a recall for this exact issue, they printed all the paperwork and told me to go to my dealer, which I did!! I arrived, I explained my situation and was responded by the Sales Manager at Miller Ford that NJMV inspection station. Does this all the time they could hook it up and it would be fine, but while I was there I discovered more recalls I was not aware of. I was able to schedule two, to be resolved!! The manager stated, “Before I start spending a bunch of money to fix the recall for the power train control module that may fix my issue!! So I did I dropped it off on 2/11 they did the two recalls but now my driver door needed to be replaced and they would call me when the parts were in for the body shop and they would need my vehicle several weeks!! So I. The meantime I went to NJMV inspection station again to see if it passes (2/12/2026 this day was warmer)and it fails AGAIN TWO MORE TIMES!! I call Medford Ford on the advice from the inspection station and Tom from sales states I need to wait 7-10 business days from when the recall was fixed before I can put it through inspection and if that didn’t work to call back to schedule it to be looked at AGAIN, Miller ford did not tell me this info! So I waited and on day 10 I took it to the INSPECTION STATION again and guess what!?!? It failed again for a communication problem with the OBD SYSTEM!! So I call the FORD recall number again I speak to another young lady and give her my case # for her to tell me basically I will need to pay out of pocket for the repair and maybe possibly I might get a defend!! What in the world is this BS!! It is a FORD ISSUES THAT WAS RECALLED AND BECAUSE MY VIN IS NOT ATTACHED IM SUPPOSED TO FIX THE USSUE AND PAY FOR AFTER ALL THIS INCONVENIENCE WHEN IT IS A RECALL, the loophole the assembly plant!?!? I have owned FORD A MAJORITY OF MY ADULT LIFE ( approximately 15-20 years) and never had an issue like this!! Not to mention there is a fuel injector recall but I was told they will only fix that if I have a problem and another recall on my liftgate that they don’t have a resolution for yet!! Meanwhile I still wait for my door to be replaced from this other recall!! How do I trust Ford moving forward, I don’t!! I don’t want this vehicle or the headache and inconvenience it has caused me recently!! The call with Ford ending with th representative saying thank you for being a loyal Ford Family!?!? FAMILY!?!? Excuse me HENRY FORD IS THIS HOW YOUR WIFE, daughter, mother, son, father, aunt, uncle, or brother would be treated if this was their vehicle!?!? I think not!! This is not family it is highway robbery!! I will BEVER PURCHASE A FOR AND I WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS NIGHTMARE TO ANYONE I KNOW AND LOVE!! Do better Ford for all your costumers who pay hundreds of thousands of dollars buying your vehicles that are trusted and expected to safe, dependable and reliable!! One a lifetime costumer forever GONE!!

Once they make the sale, forget it

I bought a used 2022 Ford Escape from Galpin Ford Van Nuys (with a three-year warranty) and the experience since has not been great. Two days after purchase, the check engine light came on due to a faulty canister purge valve. To their credit, they fixed it quickly, and provided a rental car (thanks to salesman Bryan) who was very helpful and responsive during the sales and initial repair process.Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. When I picked up my car from service, it was dirtier than when I dropped it off. Oh, and the gas tank was completely empty—I barely made it to a gas station. I also had to hunt down the paperwork for the repair. Nobody addressed me when I came to pick up my car besides the receptionist handing me my keys. Now Part 2… There’s a peeling weather strip on the passenger-side window, which was already visible at the time of purchase. Luckily I have photos and video that I took before I drove the car off the lot. I did some research, and everything that I read said the repair should be covered under warranty. I made an appointment for the repair, but then received a voicemail saying I must pay $126 upfront, and that’s just for the part. Since then, I’ve had trouble reaching anyone—calls go unanswered and voicemails haven’t been returned. I did finally speak to one woman at the location, last name “Martinez” that was extremely rude.Honestly, this is all pretty appalling. I love the car itself, but now any joy I have driving it has literally been ruined.I appreciated Brian’s help initially, but the lack of communication and follow‑through after the sale has been frustrating. This is my first time purchasing a Ford, and it will definitely be the last.

As a ford customer since 2011 getting…

As a ford customer since 2011 getting new lariats every 2 years I am beyond disgraced with the hacking of options and cheating out on these trucks. I got a 25 lariat 502a and it will be my last ford. The dealer I dealt with was horrible and zero knowledge and the truck has delayed so many features while jacking the price. Toyota tundra it is, $30,000 less than a platinum f-150 and it’s a platinum with more options. Cheaper interest rate also. Not good ford not good at all.

Absolute trash

Absolute trash. I've been without my vehicle 25 out of a 28 day month. For a transmission issue on a Ford Explorer Limited that I've had for 2 months. Unacceptable. I keep getting put off. I called Ford Corporate and got an "advocate" who isn't advocating anything. I'm a Chevy person myself and told my husband not to get a Ford and here we are.... the reviews from Groove Ford in Centennial, CO are ridiculous. I had no idea that dealership was so inadequate & unprofessional. Apparently this company doesn't care about it's reputation or it's customers.

I took my car to 3 different dealership…

I took my car to 3 different dealership and they tried to fixed but it was just out of their hands . Next step was to contact Ford Customer Relations. Ford customer Relations is the worst help. I have called 7 times to have my suv fixed, however every representative of Ford Costumer Relation I had contact with gave me different answers but no solution. I was on the phone with a Michael at customer relations, he said he couldn’t help me and didn’t want to talk to the case manager at the dealership where I was waiting for 4 hours. The others representative at least tried to help while Michael tried to brush me off.

Worst vehicle manufacturer. Customer service is non existent. They don’t take accountability for their junk vehicles that break down after 10k miles

Purchased a 2021 Ford Escape

Purchased a 2021 Ford escape back in January of 2022. When I started to drive this vehicle the back brakes were making noise when I put it in reverse. I brought it to the attention of the service department and they said it was normal. Turns out, I had to replace both sets of the brakes (front and back)with discs within 6 months and It wasn't even 20,000 miles. All of a sudden the back brakes stopped making noise when I put it in reverse. Back in September 5, 2023, we took the SUV in for several recalls. They replaced the leaking rear shocks, power window switches and fuel injector. They stated the water pump was leaking and they couldn't repair it because the parts were not available at that time and that was another recall. On October 31, 2023 is when they finally replaced the water pump. Here it is February 13th, 2026 and Ford is now stating we need to replace the water pump and the shocks again. It has not even been 3 years. We also need both sets of brakes again. The total bill is $3,250 before taxes. They state that the reason why the breaks were making noise is because Ford had an ongoing problem with their break pads. They won't honor the replacement pads. They also stated that the water pump and the shocks are out of warranty. I don't know if they are going off the original car warranty or their products warranty. If it's the product warranty then obviously they are putting in cheap parts. We received a recall notice in March of 2025 regards to the driver seat belt. They refused to check it out and said to bring it in when it fails.Received another recall notice on August of 2025 in regards to the fuel injector may crack. Said they would send out a letter when the parts were available. Still have not heard from them. I'm very sorry that I have purchased this vehicle. They don't stand behind on word and there is way to many recalls. I had better luck with Kia. This is why they want you to purchase all these extras and a extended warranty at the end to make your payment higher. They should have a warranty like Kia.

Ford does not care about you or your car after they sell it to you

I would never recommend Ford to anyone, especially Delray Greico Ford. I purchased a 2024 Mustang Mach-E on December 30, 2025, and since then I have experienced ongoing issues with this vehicle.Initially, the battery would not charge properly, and I attempted to pursue a lemon law claim. The dealership replaced the battery, but the charging problems have continued. Since purchasing this SUV, I have incurred significant out-of-pocket expenses for rental cars and Ubers due to the vehicle being unreliable.Last night, I was stranded at a charging station when the car would not charge at all. I contacted Ford through the app, and the vehicle was towed to Wayne Akers Ford in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. I was then informed that there is a recall on my vehicle, and the necessary part is currently not in stock. As a result, I was unable to go to work and was told there were no rental vehicles available.I purchased this vehicle from Delray Greico Ford, yet they have refused to assist me because the car was towed to a different Ford dealership. This is extremely disappointing. As a customer, I feel completely unsupported. It seems that once the vehicle is sold, customer care disappears.Given the ongoing issues, repeated charging failures, recall complications, and financial burden I have experienced, this vehicle should qualify for replacement under lemon law, or the dealership should be doing everything possible to accommodate me and make this right.I would strongly caution anyone against purchasing a vehicle from Ford, especially Delray Greico Ford. I purchased a 2024 Mustang Mach-E on December 30, 2025, and since that day I have experienced nothing but ongoing, unacceptable problems. The vehicle initially failed to charge properly due to a battery issue. I attempted to pursue a lemon law claim, and the dealership replaced the battery. However, the charging problems have continued. This vehicle is unreliable and has repeatedly left me stranded. I have incurred significant out-of-pocket expenses for rental cars and Uber rides because I cannot depend on a brand-new SUV to function as it should. Most recently, I was stranded at a charging station when the vehicle would not charge at all. I had to use the Ford app to request a tow, and the car was taken to Wayne Akers Ford in Lake Worth Beach. I was then informed that there is an active recall on my vehicle and that the required part is not available. As a result, I missed work and was told there were no rental vehicles available. This is completely unacceptable for a vehicle that is essentially new.To make matters worse, Delray Greico Ford has refused to assist me simply because the vehicle was towed to a different Ford dealership. As a paying customer, I should not be caught in the middle of internal dealership policies. Ford’s dealerships represent the same brand, yet I am being denied support when I need it most. This situation demonstrates a total lack of accountability and customer care. I purchased a new vehicle expecting reliability and support, not repeated breakdowns, recall delays, financial loss, and indifference. At this point, this vehicle clearly qualifies for relief under lemon law, and I expect immediate action—whether that means a full replacement or a buyback.Ford needs to take responsibility and resolve this matter without further delayFrancine Parziale

Bought my 2016 F150 Eco Boost in 2016…

Bought my 2016 F150 Eco Boost in 2016 brand new. Did service every year. 8 recalls. At 71000 my driver turbo failed. Changed it and the oil. The oil was never changed by the dealer I guarantee it as the oil was like big thick black poops coming out. Ken Grody of Buena Park California, Lawley in Sierra Vista (closed business now i see why), and Jim Click Ford in Tucson. Now I have to change the passenger turbo at 83000. What a piece of crap truck. I am sure the turbos were recalled in 2016 so why am i going through this? I am going to sell the truck after putting in another Turbo and wash my hands of it. FORD never again. No help from the dealers which provide the worst service I have ever experienced. Should have bought a Chevy I guess. VERY ANGRY. Why won't Ford help me? They wanted $9000 dollars for repair. GARBAGE

2026 Ford Maverick Lariat

2026 Ford Maverick. Last Ford I will ever buy. Though what I am about to say may seem trivial, Ford proceeds to apply cost cutting measures and yet is determined to piss off its buyers.Case in point, I just purchased a 2026 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid right at $40,000 only to find out after, that it doesn't even come with automatic up and down windows. I further just found out, that this option was available on the 2025 Maverick. Seriously! I can't buy a $40,000 vehicle with this option that has been out for decades because Ford is turning into a "No Value added" company? The same thing happed when I sold my 2022 Ford F150 Lariat and purchased a 2025 Ford F150 Lariat. There they took away my beloved exterior key pad.Forget it Ford. You got me twice but not a third time. I'll find another manufacturer that can manage to get these small things right. And yes, they exist. It's a shame. I do think you make a good product but you have earned me leaving Ford as a customer.

My 2023 ford Mach e stopped working

My 2023 ford Mach e stopped working. Does not even have 25000 miles yet. Had to be towed to the dealership. Dealership had no rental or loaners. They call me back after running diagnostic. Said it was a bad part but the part is on back order nation wide. Dealership said it may be a couple of weeks. This happened on January 20th. Still no update on the part.

FORD CORPORATE, DEALERSHIP & CAR: COMPLETE FAILURE

FORD CORPORATE EXECUTIVE ESCALATION Subject: Formal Safety & Conduct Complaint – Planet Ford 59 Humble, TexasPlanet Ford 59 sold me a vehicle in 2021 without disclosing known NHTSA safety memos, performed unauthorized repair, oversaw two catastrophic engine failures, mishandled an active recall, failed to reimburse approved expenses, and escalated a service dispute by sending law enforcement to my home. Despite repeated assurances, no General Manager has ever contacted me.My vehicle was returned damaged, incomplete, and with unresolved engine and transmission faults. This matter involves consumer safety, liability exposure, and dealership misconduct. I am requesting executive review, reimbursement, documentation, and corrective action. To date, another attempt to reach someone on the executive level has failed. I will continue to try and be heard.

Ford should cover the costs of their defective engines

My 81 year old mother bought a Ford Fusion in 2020 her car has 132,000 kilometers and the timing chain just snapped suddenly and Ford service is telling her she has to put a whole new engine in it at a cost of $10,000!!!! Ford customer relations informed her that her Ford score is not high enough for them to assist herIn no way should a car thats 5 years old with low kilometers that has been properly maintained should need a brand new engine.Ford should 100% cover the costs of defective engines. That is the right thing to do

Ford motor company sucks

Ford motor company sucks! And I was a ford man. Tired of unreliable used crap. Y’all say it used well how come f150 from 2004 to 2025 over one third of that time spans these trucks have major issues. They should’ve been recalled and fixed but wait they can’t do that as they’ll lose money. Build junk the government should make ya go broke repairing your junk. The parasitic battery drain is pathetic ford that’s on the 04 and 06 f150s. Wonder who ford is in bed with to get no recalls for there junk? I’ll be purchasing dodge charger or challenger and a ram truck before anymore fords. The pathetic part is I could get a new ford on the X plan and I will refuse the offer.

I have owned my 2024 ford escape since new and ha e had an ongoing series of electrical faults. the windows going down instead of up being the most common, with others such as the lights turning themselves off at night when going from low to high beam and the emergency braking system engaging for no reason.the service department at coastal ford in Squamish British Columbia have tried and FAILED to fix the issues. I have now been told that I have to try another dealership. I contacted ford customer service and they are useless.
