I wish I could give them a big fat ZERO. I paid through Walmart for tv mounting. Got no info beforehand about their IDIOTIC policies. First they said they wouldn't take down tv already on the wall which is just on a rack, not permanent in any way. Then when I canceled the appointment that I had just made 20 minutes before, they charged me a $25 cancelation fee. I will be fighting this to the death with my credit card company. HOW RIDICULOUS CAN YOU GET. My husband and I are old or we would switch out the TVs ourselves. This would literally take a couple strong men 5 minutes!

Worst technical scheduling service I ever used. Near scam standards. They hadn’t assigned anyone until I contacted their chat support despite receiving emails mentioning an appointment time twice. Recheduled twice so far and asking me if I was willing to reschedule for a third one.

I used to work for this company as a contractor,they are extremely expensive for the customers and low pay for the contractors,if you drive 20 plus miles for job and the customer is not there they don't pay you for the job ,they just pay you a fee.

Terrible.z they installed my sound bar too close to my tv for the controls to be used. Then they fraudulently locked me into a 12 month membership that I did not consent to. Their customer service refused to refund me or cancel my membership so I had to open a fraud dispute with my credit card. Avoid

Bait and switch tactics
They promised a discount for in home services with a membership subscription, so why not try it for a month and see, right? Nope, bait and switch, hours after they "scheduled" an appointment it was canceled with no explanation. But don't worry, I'm still on the hook for the membership that I didn't want. Wish I would have seen these reviews prior to using these clowns. Clever grift though, I'll give them that.

AVOID AT ALL COST. They charged me for services not yet rendered and a cancelation fee! I ordered home security equipment for which they charge for each item installed! I reached out to the representative only to be told, read the available policies and they were doing a pre-authorizationand will hold funds until scheduled service. The insert, website, and confirmation email indicate that I would not be charged until services were complete. Then they want me to take pictures of where it's going to be installed and send them AND do a video call to see if it's compatible. How is that my job?

Complete garbage service. They won't let you schedule, instead you put in your availability and their most likely non existent techs pick a time. Only problem is they never do and their help line just repeats themselves over and over and ignore you. Do not use this service!

I had to pick one star to enter my comments. To anyone thinking about using hello tech for the installation of a security system, think again. And definitely verify the pricing. I purchased a system with a camera doorbell + two outdoor camera's. I was quoted a price of $270, was charged $502! The first tech didn't know how to install the doorbell camera, so had another tech had to come out to install the complete system. When questioned the excessive charge, they explained that the actual price was $383, and the doorbell was an extra $119. When the original price when I called was $270. If you decide to use this ripoff company, be sure to get a total amount prior to aging to their service. Buyer beware!!!

Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs. I had a good experience with a couple of the technicians until I ran into an issue that needed to be resolved. After that happened, I have had nothing but a run-around. I have spent way too much of my time trying to get it figured out without incurring an additional charge, and that's when the customer service completely fell off. After days of patience and attempting to resolve the issue, I just gave up and cancelled my membership. Don't waste your time.

This company is a scam. To EVERYONE! They hide an autorenewing subscription fee on your credit card! Took me several months to figure it out. Not to mention the person I paid $179 never did complete the job-- had to hire a different contractor. STAY AWAY!

No show two times in a row. I thought I’d come here and see that this was uncommon but I was wrong. Seems like they need to pay their workers more to get people who will actually show up and/or not over book their staff. How do you run a company this poorly?

I had a extremely rude woman come to install my home security system. She didn’t introduce herself and did so only as an after thought. Was argumentative from the start. I told her to leave it was obvious she had a chip on her shoulder. Complained to HelloTech and reschedule with someone else. At least The representative on the phone was pleasant. I just hope I don’t get a repeat performance with the tech. If I knew of another person or company would go with someone else, but I don’t, and in the interest of time will proceed with HelloTech. I hope that they will send someone more professional the second time around.

The worst company ever. Set an appointment with a four hour window and didn't show. Rescheduled for the next morning and showed up and just stayed in the car for 40 minutes. Never even knocked on the door. Still was charged. Had to get it deleted from my AMEX.
