Bar staff avoided my older friend for serving , and when asked to be served was met with extreme hostilities , this is the 2nd time I have experienced this at the establishment and I will not be returning . Avoid
I go once a week to attend a Quiz Group. We have an area reserved for this with coffee. The coffee is good and the staff are welcoming. This a big pub, well maintained. I would recommend anyone give this pub a try.
Terrible and Prejudiced. AVOID. Had a staff do here last June (21st) and it became obvious very quickly that the Bar Staff pick and choose who they want to serve. When our homosexual staff member went to get drinks they waited over 30 minutes each time and other patrons would walk up to the bar and be served straight away during this wait. One of our (straight) staff members, who is a bit scruffy, also got the same treatment. When our "straight and good looking" members of staff went for a round they would get served in less than 10 minutes even though the bar was more full and has the same 4 staff serving. Obviously homophobic and only want good looking people in their establishment.
