Health Partner UK are a disgrace and unregulated

They were employed by Police Scotland to complete a report regarding my permanent health condition. They had made their mind up before I even attended the meeting and ignored all my medical team and reports of 7 years. Declaring it was something completely different. There report was full of medical mistakes. I queried these and they refused to respond. I then made a complaint direct to the company and they responded only to a few of my complaint then told me the case was closed. I highlighted what they had failed to respond to on numerous occasions but they refused to answer. They also disclosed my complaint to another person who was not involved breaching data protection. Those involved were Dr Lily Neurologist, Dr Groom and Carole Scott. Please avoid this company at all cost.

Their advice got me fired

After being signed off sick for 2 weeks, I was set up with Health Partners to decide if I was fit to return to work. I had a 15 min conversation on the phone with them where they agreed that I was fit for work. They said they'd send a letter to that effect to my company. When then letter arrived, it said I was fit but that I could not do overtime, that I had to work at a slower pace and with reduced targets, that I would likely be off for considerable time in the future and that I was disabled. They didn't discuss any of these things with me before sending the letter to my employer. I also came off the medication that was making ill (due to side effects) anyway so I was perfectly fit for work. I had a senior role within a bank and it was not possible to reduce targets at the time (nor did I need them to be reduced, I was fine) but thanks to the letter, my employer let me go on the basis that they needed someone who could work fully and they were also afraid that I'd end up suing them. Thanks to Health Partners, I went from being signed off for 2 weeks and then being perfectly healthy, to losing my job. Their communication is also appalling - They wouldn't let me speak to the woman who wrote the letter because it's against their policy. I emailed them asking to retract the letter and they said they wouldn't because it was their opinion (based on a 15 min conversation with a stranger). I made 2 formal complaints to Health Partners asking them to retract the letter and then telling them I'd been fired because of it and no one even bothered to respond to me on either occasion. I would not recommend using this company. They're supposed to fight for the wellbeing of the employee but they've just made my life so much worse. They can't even take responsibility and apologise when they screw up.

Bad experience

I have spoken to many of the employees of this company who have been really fantastic ... until I received a phone call from Dr. Emslie. It has been a really long time since I have been spoken to in such a demeaning and patronising way. I initially thought someone was having a joke with me - he talked incessantly, never letting me speak and told me my GP had given him personal information about me which I had not been told about - this turned out to be completely untrue! When I received his report, I thought it related to another client as I did not recognise anything that he had talked to me about - it was completely inaccurate. He was so bad I hope I never have to deal with him again - I feel really sorry for his colleagues.
