AVOID the seller Home and Country USA!!!
The seller Home and Country USA were happy to take my order for 2 buckets of ice melter at $35 a bucket for $70 plus tax. Then they delivered only 1 bucket and changed the price to $74.60 claiming I only ordered 1 bucket. They are taking advantage of us senior citizens who are on a fixed income with Social Security. Lowe's of Manchester NJ is selling 50 pound bags for $18.99. about half of Home and Country at $35 not to mention nearly 4 times that amount at $74.60. This is Criminal activity to over price an item during a hardship of a terrible ice storm that hasn't happened in 20 years. Let the buyer beware. Hmm and country is a poor reflection on Amazon to let this criminal enterprise do business on their otherwise nice company. I have reported this episode to Master Card as well. I am sure I am not the only senior citizen to be exposed to home and Country's scam. They are probably doing this shenanigan to countless others. They offered a refund for returning the ice melter if I deliver it to UPS and pay for return shipping knowing very well that this would be a hardship as I'm elderly and am watching every penny. They are nothing but common thieves.

I had the same experience as many on…
I had the same experience as many on this site. I paid Home&Country.com £360 for a mower that never came. Lots of excuses, promises of refund, etc, etc. Having paid by Debit Card, I took the matter up with the card issuer under the CHARGEBACK SCHEME. I now have had the transaction reversed and my money refunded. I had thought that this only applied to Credit Card transactions, but not so. Check it out, and good luck. These people don't deserve to prosper at your expense!

This company is a scam
This company is a scam, places an order and a month later it still hadn’t arrived despite them repeatedly saying it was on its way and would be delivered in 2 days. When I asked for a refund or a parcel tracking number the company stopped replying to emails. I had to get PayPal involved in order to get a refund which I got so clearly the company lied and the items were not on the way to me. Liars and scammers doNot order from them

Waited 6 months for an order and it still didn't arrive so I asked for a refund of my £500, they assured me it would be 5 days and it's now been 3 weeks ! I believe there was never any intention of delivering my order or giving me a refund These people are liars and thieves and I urge everyone to avoid at all costs

Awful experience with an appalling online retailer
I ordered a hedge trimmer on 11 April 2018. It did not arrive by 25 April 2018 so I contacted Home and Country who claimed a labelling error had occurred and the product would be immediately re-shipped.Over the course of the next month I received several promises of delivery dates which were never honoured. Eventually I gave them a deadline to deliver and stated I would otherwise raise a case with PayPal and write about my experience on this website. They again missed the deadline.I raised a case with PayPal and, to be fair, the refund was issued immediately, however, this showed that the product still hadn’t been shipped. It was still being advertised for sale and ‘in stock’ on the website, albeit at a much higher price.Avoid this seller at all costs. A frustrating shopping experience with a disingenuous seller.

Worst online shopping experience 20 years!
The worst online shopping experience in almost 20 years!Ordered on 7th April, sent 3 emails without a response, I called and spoke to someone, who promised my order will be dispatched for next day, it wasn't...Over a week later no response and cannot get through to them via telephone at 1:40pm answer message is "we are closed"... What Business closes at mid afternoon on a Thursday?Still no response from my email and it' now 26th April, I now have no option but to go through my card issuer to initiate a chargeback
