Do not buy

Do not buy. Ordered two nightstands. Both terrible quality and broken. Customer service kept denying replacement/ repair despite sending pictures and videos by making highly unreasonable demands and strange requests about moreVideos. Unethical and unscrupulous people and company: never buying anything ever again.

Ordered a bed and dresser

Ordered a bed and dresser. The dresser was a pre-assembled item. It arrived with some damage, which I documented for a claim. I did not want the hassle of returning it, felt it could be repaired. I had a positive experience with the claim department. They were very responsive and we struck a resolution for a fair refund without any drama.

NEVER DELIVERED - KEPT MY MONEY

I called ahead and confirmed multiple times before placing my online order that it would be shipped immediately and be delivered within 2 weeks, three absolute maximum. A month later and many emails and calls and there is absolutely no status update on my order and they have refused to do anything about it.

La Furniture is a horrible unhonorable company

I purchased and they delivered sofa and chair. Both pieces have plastic wrapping and cloth strap inprints on the susposed to be leather arms. The middle sofa support cannot be attached due to a 3x4 inch piece of wood support not being connected to anything. Both pieces have an aweful smell and were so far short of the advertised measurements that they took it off the site after I threatened to get an attorney. After one week I had to put the items in my shed as I could no longer tolerate the stench. I followed the given instructions one hour after delivery and submitted my complaint along with photos. Tried to submit more photos but it only allowed one here. Everything had to be done via email. This company refused to take the furniture back or issue me a refund. So they offered to send someone out to fix the problem and even sent me instructions on how to repair it myself. The last email I received from them stated they would charge me a 35% restocking fee and I would have to pay for shipping. Who wants to deal with this after spending thousands! If you want a horrible furniture buying experience, shop here!!!

Our furniture shopping experience with Lynda was exceptional. LA Furniture has such a great variety and Lynda helped us through the process and the delivery. We will definitely reach out to Lynda in the near future to get more furniture.

Wrong Leather, Missing Pull Down Tray, Faulty Coupling Mechanism

I ordered a red and black sectional 4084 from lafurniture sometimes around March 2017. They had sent swatches for the following types of leather: "bonded ", "Italian", "genuine", "top grain Italian", in ascending order for price. I chose genuine leather. In order for the sectional to fit my place, I had to remove a piece. I specifically instructed that the piece with the pull down tray and cup holder should NOT be removed. It will preclude the need to fit a side table into my relatively small living room. All the communications and orders were done via email. The sectional arrived July 14th and it was immediately obvious that the item delivered is NOT what I ordered. The pull down tray with cup holder was not included. Also, the leather used on 3 of the pieces is not genuine leather. It was a combination of cheaper "Italian" leather and some other leather that was not on the swatches mailed to me. Lastly, I could not fit the pieces together because the coupling mechanism is faulty. I immediately contacted Lynda, the sales rep. She was responsive but said the leather could not have been mixed up. As regards the pull down tray with cup holder, she asked Oleg of VIG who she cc'ed to respond. He never did. For the next 3 months it was a game of hide and seek. I contacted Better Business Bureau to file a complaint but lafurniture did not respond. After numerous calls, I got Desi de la Garza on the phone who tried to lecture me on leathers. I pointed out to him that the leather on the sectional is not the genuine leather on the swatches and sent him pictures with the swatch leather side by side with the other 2 leathers used on the sectional but he refused to accept that the company made a mistake. As regards the pull down tray with cup holder, he said "I have reviewed your emails and complaints and have determined that you did not order the piece with the cup holder". He then went on to quote an email that has absolutely no bearing to the order to support his "determination". He made no mention of the mails exchanged regarding the order including one where the picture of the piece to be removed was marked with an "X". He was not interested in solving the problem, or maybe he lacks the capacity. This review is to let the public know my experience. This business is NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau so BEWARE.

EXCELLENT TABLES

The tables are absolutely gorgeous. The quality of the tables look really expensive as well. The service was great as well from Lynda and the delivery man. They tried to meet all my requirements such as assembling the Furniture too when I requested it. I would recommend anyone to check this place out!

Shipping costs were a surprise

They charge $300 to ship from CA to LA. That was a huge surprise on top of the cost of the furniture. In the modern days of Amazon shipping, some of these vendors are going to lose their business.

purchasing a coffee table

The store sales George is very helpful, he gave me a piece of material sample so I can compare with the white furniture I have at home. It works out well. I really appreciate his assistance and pleasant attitude. I hope the furniture will be good as the salesperson. The person Alma on line is very helpful as well. She answered all my questions.

Good product, poor online customer service

Very little detail about curbside shipping...just a note that it's the only option I had. No option or details on possibility of scheduling, estimated shipping dates, etc. Chat service says they run through 5PT on Sat, but it was not working between 4-5PT. I sat on hold on the phone for 30 minutes before just hanging up.
