Damaged items, unhelpful customer service
I’ve spent thousands of euros ordering from MegaFitness twice now, and had a miserable experience both times. They sent me two heavily damaged barbells, (damage that affects their functionality, not just cosmetic - one has a long strip of knurling ripped off in a line running the length of the bar, and the other has pieces of metal rattling around inside of it, the sleeve is stuck and can’t rotate, and the whole bar has been dipped in a very thick paint that eliminates all the knurling), a half rack covered in finishing flaws that makes it painful to use the pull-up bar, and an integrated high/low cable machine which cannot attach the footrests to my rack, despite it being listed as compatible on their website.Their customer service team ignores my emails and doesn’t answer their phone during posted opening hours, and rejected my request for undamaged replacement items (I offered to send the damaged items back) and instead pushes me to accept a very small amount of in-store credit (initially offered me about 9% of the barbell’s price)
