Terrible service and quality

On the day of delivery, I noticed my tabletop had a crack and I filed a claim with my local store. Pls note, I am ordering a new table with additional coverage for any damage. The claims department got back to me the following day telling me I can have a 20% store credit or a 10% refund? Like WHAT?!?!! For a brand new item this was their first "resolution" offered. I obviously refused and asked for a replacement or a full refund. They came back with a 40% store credit or 20% refund. I refused and finally they agreed to replace this.Makes me wonder if their products are such low quality that they see such issues on brand new pieces. How can their first instinct be to offer a 10% refund to keep the cracked piece of furniture!!?!

The customer service representative, Karla B, was great! We really appreciated that she promptly addressed our concerns. Unfortunately the couch that we ordered arrived in boxes that were musty/moldy and had a terrible smell, and the couch itself was musty as well. We appreciate that Karla was able to help us exchange the couch (we're still waiting for the replacement).

I visited the Los Angeles store and…

I visited the Los Angeles store and worked directly with Harry Santiago to select the tables. Because these are extremely heavy marble pieces, I specifically asked before purchasing whether delivery included bringing the items into the space and unpacking and setting them up. I made it clear that this was critical due to the weight of the pieces. The sales consultant confirmed that this service was included, a sales order was created, and I paid in full based on that confirmation.The delivery notification process leading up to the scheduled delivery was unprofessional and poorly communicated, with very little proactive outreach. I overlooked this because I was excited about the pieces and trusted the information provided at the time of purchase.On the scheduled delivery day, the delivery team informed me that they would not unpack or assemble the tables. This directly contradicted what I was told in the showroom. I immediately contacted customer service and spoke with Carla, who refused to provide any additional identifying information and was dismissive throughout the call. She repeatedly stated that my only option was to refuse the delivery and told me that this issue did not qualify for escalation. Despite multiple requests, she refused to allow me to speak with a manager.I explained multiple times that refusing the delivery was not my objective. I was requesting the delivery service I was explicitly told would be provided. One component of the table weighs approximately 110 pounds, and I have no ability to lift or move it safely on my own, which is why I specifically confirmed the delivery and setup details prior to purchase.Carla ultimately told me to contact the showroom to “figure it out there,” which is not an acceptable or professional solution during an active delivery. I then spoke with Nathan at the showroom, who attempted to help find a resolution. However, I was again told that refusing the delivery was the only option.As a result, the delivery was refused, and I am now without the product I paid for and without any resolution in place. This entire experience reflects a serious breakdown in communication, customer service, and accountability and should be reviewed and addressed immediately.Lauren

Karla at customer service responded quickly however I find the Modani company to be disappointing. Delivery issues many times furniture promised and not delivered. Sales people have little ability to help once they take your cc number. Could be a better experience if things were smoother on delivery and quality. But today Karla at customer service did her job.

I bought a furniture that did not fit my place. I had no problem exchanging it for the one that fit my place. Very pleased with customer service.

Avoid at all costs.

Horrible customer service. Crooked policies. And delivery vendors are untruthful. I would never buy anything from these people. Aldo delivery times not accurate. No customer service phone for online. Stores want nothing to do with helping u. Just a joke. Drivers refused to deliver on false pretext and they tried to charge 10% fee. Bad sale! I returned all pieces ordered because i couldn't coordinate delivery. Then unable to talk to anyone. If someone had dealt with this correctly. Not tried to nikel and de us on 300 dollars. On 6k in orders.

If I could give ZERO stars I would

If I could give ZERO stars I would. On September 1, 2025, my husband and I ordered a table and six chairs at Modani Furniture Garden City for the price of $4519.61, which included an extended warranty and white glove service delivery. The products were delivered on September 17, 2025. The day of delivery, we noticed that the table had not been assembled properly, as it wasvisibly slanted. We contacted the store manager, Rick Ramcharan, to report the issue. He advised us to file a claim with the warranty company, Extend, which then sent two technicians to address the problem. However, the technicians did not fix the issue, and the table remained slanted. They incorrectly claimed that the problem was due to an uneven floor. The technicians were supposed to remove and adjust the top section of the table, as described in the instructions, but they failed to perform this work. Modani Customer Service closed the case based on a technician's report that inaccurately described the work performed. The report stated: "Service tech uninstalled extending tables, tech adjusted and reinstalled top table mechanism and rails properly in close position and extended position and reinstalled extending tables." This description was incorrect. The technician neither adjusted nor reinstalled the top table mechanism. They also did not uninstall the leaves as claimed. Instead, they simply used a wrench and an Xex key to adjust the height of the screws on both leaves of the table. They never touched the middle section of the table, which is where the actual problem lies. We sent responses to Rick and Modani customer service and no one has bothered to send us a response to rectify the issue. Instead, they are choosing to ignore paying customers. Now we are stuck with a clearly visible slanted table. I would NEVER recommend Modani to anyone.

Madani cloud couch

We’ve had this couch for a couple of years, and it’s been a huge disappointment. It’s supposed to be super comfortable, like a “cloud couch,” but it’s anything but. The feathers constantly poke through, making it uncomfortable to sit on. The cushions don’t fit right—even after fluffing—so you end up with gaps and uneven sections that just look terrible. On top of that, the company offers no real help with refilling or fixing the cushions. For the price and hype, it’s just not worth it.

Customer service refuse to be helpful when a hazardous, unsafe item was delivered. Company refuse to take return, instead asked customer to pay for it. Get ready for painful experience..

The absolute worst

The absolute worst. The bedroom set I purchased from them is stripping all around. It’s black pleather and for a while I couldn’t figure out where these black particles were coming from in my daughters hair. It turns out, it was from the bed. I purchased the warranty, which was pointless and worthless because they couldn’t fix or replace it because it was considered “wear and tear”. There are parts of the bed that’s stripping that isn’t even used. It’s just a bad product. I would never recommend or buy anything from Modani Furniture again.

The furniture is low quality Chinese…

The furniture is low quality Chinese imported lowest end trash. I purchased the extended warranty. At less than 3 years like everyone else in this thread the leather seams separated; the construction is awful; I was given the run around until directed to a warranty company who rejected my claim almost instantaneously. Buyer beware. Stay away from this place and beware most of these good reviews are planted by the company.

Stay clear of this business

Stay clear of this business! The furniture design is great but their customer service skills at the corporate level are terrible. We purchased the Arte Walnut Buffet on August 20th. Was the told the shipping to Utah was a total of $129 on top of the furniture purchase price. That worked for us and our budget so we went ahead and completed the purchase on that date in August. On September 22nd, we were told that there was a glitch in the computer system on August 20th, and that the actual shipping cost is an additional $235 on top of the $129 we already paid. Modani corporate told us that we had to pay the extra amount in order to receive our new furniture. That is just bad business, it isn't our fault as the customer that there was an error on their side with the actual shipping cost. It is outrageous to come back to us more than a month later and demand that we pay the extra amount. That is their fault that they experienced the error, not ours, and therefore they should eat the cost. It's like at a grocery store when a product is mislabeled on the shelf and when you get to the cash register it rings up higher than what the sticker price said, the grocery store doesn't make you pay the higher price, they honor the price that it was labeled as because that is their mistake that they labeled the product incorrectly not the customer's mistake. We have asked for a full refund, we would rather not have the furniture than pay the extra $235. Let's see what happens.

Great Service

I purchased a dining chair with Modani less than a year ago. However, seam separated. I called customer service and dealt with Jose who was very professional and quick in helping me. Jose resolved my issue and I am a happy customer.
