Ridiculous amount of time required to cash out my policies!
I've had the policies for 11 years and reached their maturity date 2 years ago. I've requested to transfer my accounts to my bank because National Western is only paying 1% interest. They are telling me that it will take 45 days for me to receive my money from them from the date that they receive the request. That is totally ridiculous! They choose to keep my money for 45 days while they make huge interest on it while only paying me 1% for the same period. They refuse to expedite the process and were very adamant & hateful to me after I explained to them that 45 days to process returning MY money to me was ludicrous. They did not wait for 45 days for THEM to receive my money when I purchased the policies! Don't do business with these folks if you decide that you want your money back in the same timely manner in which you invested it with them!!!
