This company felled trees above my garage.

This company felled trees above my garage caused damage to the roof and left a general mess .Piled all the timber behind there fence in full untidy view. When l wrote to them they said this is standard practice and is good for wild life. The damage to my garage roof they would not except any liability inspite of photos .told me to get a survey and a solicitor.Just a big company bullying inderviduals.

Special assistance either non existent or perfect

I booked special assistance for my journey from Crowle to Aberdeen and back again. On the way out no one came to help but on the way back the Network rail assistants were ready and happy to help. Special thanks to Lisa at Edinburgh who helped me on the 2nd Feb at 3.30. I was not aware there was a nice warm room available to wait in. Booked down a star due to no help at Crowle or Doncaster till I complained.

Bus replacement service from Brighouse to Huddersfield was total guesswork and eventually had to make my own way back.

The bus replacement service was unsigned unmanned and total guesswork. Made my own way back eventually. Waste of time. Waste of money.

Now use Network Fail only on weekends…

Now use Network Fail only on weekends to get from the Midland Stix into London. It is alright as it is not too congested or busy, unlike weekdays. Reliability is not great maybe one in every 8 journeys I’ve had issues getting with late, cancelled or early termination of trains. These days I prefer to drive, park in outer London then get the Tube. I can leave when I want to, pretty sure I’ll actually get there and the car won’t break down or have signal issues and leave when I want to, oh and there’s always a seat free.

Poor Undergrad Recruitment

My review for Network Rail is base of extremely poor management of undergraduate recruitment. My son applied did his online assessment and passed at high level. His account was updated to give the next stage of the recruitment stage stating onsite assessment. He contacted recruitment team when he did not hear from them for a date. He was advise that they will get back to him because they are going through a lot application and confirm the status of his account for an assessment due on site is valid only to be told early this week he has been rejected. This has affected him so badly because he was so hopeful and preparing for the assessment because of what he had on his network Rail account and is struggling to come to terms with the rejection. My frustration is how a company will do that to young minds just starting in life. Why update an account with details that has not been decided snd confirmed giving false hope to a young person. This is bad and messes up young people confidence and mental well being. Fair enough life is not all smooth sailing as we adults know it but giving a good start is all that is asked with transparency and honesty.

Stewartby RUINED

I am so sick of Stewartby being ruined by this company constantly messing around with the level crossing. Well over 10 years and cars will wait for ridiculous amounts of time because the kids who work there are just dossing about. Please stop ruining our lives with your blatant incompetence

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling. This has been going on for a year or two . The last app had functionality. They say they will improve it . Nothing happens !! Do the programmer's actually understand real life or live in a dream . Just go back . Oh you can't because you have invested in stupidity. Just because someone can write a few lines of code without the end users acceptance doesn't make him useful or clever. The worst upgrade i have ever seen in my twenty year computer career. A total dysfunctionality disgrace .

Awful company who ruins people’s lives by allowing their signalling equipment to fall apart due to lack og

This Shameless company doesn’t spend any money on keeping their equipment running and hence the signalling system in South East England is a Disgrace and all due to their greed and absolute lack of empathy for the people that have no choice but to use their decrepit network such as those of us having to use equally Diabolically railway companies such as Southwestern Railway. If they actually cared at all their signalling system wouldn’t be continuously failing even in days like today (23rd June) when it’s not even hot and hence there is no excuse for the failures other than greed on their part!

Absolutely crap

It is taking longer for my daughter to get from Manchester Airport to Wigan than Istanbul to Manchester. Our rail network is atrocious and embarrassing. Train driver on 60000 per year and no trains absolutely disgraceful

Scotland's Property Portfolio Team Management Appalling

My uncle has stayed within a station house for over 50 years. Portfolio managers are appalling due to lack of communication and maintaining their houses occupied. I have numerous photo evidence and large volumes of emails sent requesting repairs over last few years. Even by copying 3 people within emails from property team in Scotland they are very poor at responding. Sadly my uncle has had to move out his home after over 50 years due to no insulation, badly rotted windows and doors. Even local council and social work were appalled at their lack of repairs and poor communication. My uncle has had to move out the property after all these years due to poorly maintained cottage. Even now after serving termination notice we still receive poor communication from property team to hand keys back. Would never recommend property team in Scotland as 3 portfolio managers are very poor at communication and not following through with repairs that was needed to keep cottage weather tight.

Utterly arrogant

Utterly arrogant, dismissive and inconsiderate. Useless customer service. No real solution to the problem because they're sitting atop their unreachable heights of zero accountability. Typical British arrogance

Shocking, irresponsible, extreme incompetence

Today was the latest in a long line of complete failures of competence by network rail that directly affects my life and thousands of fellow commuters. I live in Welwyn garden city and have the misfortune of needing to commute into london. I’m 2024 I must have commuted 2-4 times a week say 30 weeks so at least 70-80 times. Of those it’s hard to say precisely but I would say fully 1 in 8 trains were not just late they were flat out cancelled at the last minute. I find this shocking. There is no Practical alternative for the majority of commuters into central london to the train and public transport. Driving is ridiculous because of the extreme traffic (last I read london had the slowest traffic in the world - now even worse than LA). Therefore I believe rail track operators and rail operators have a special public duty to provide reliable services. I would say ⅔ of the cancellations were due to issues network rail should be responsible for. Including countless points and signals failures, multiple instances of track problems and even today the old cliché, leaves on the line! While I can accept occasional issues with any equipment the sheer frequency shows absolutely clearly that network rail has NOT invested in new infrastructure. While I will grudgingly accept “free at the point of delivery” public services being shoddy eg NHS, I refuse to accept his as I along with everyone pays some of the most expensive rail fares in Europe for a shocking level of service. Clearly they gave away our money to shareholders instead of reinvesting in infrastructure. At the cost of our collective stress and indeed damaged careers and missed appointments. If I were this unreliable, I would be fired by most of my clients. Rightly so. If I had any choice at all I would not only fire these people, I would sue them for the sheer stress caused by trying to use - indeed being forced to use- their incredibly poor service. The sooner somebody replaces this shower with something competent the better.

What are Network Rail thinking

What are Network Rail thinking? On Remembrance Sunday (10th Nov 24), whilst many people including disabled veterans are travelling on the trains to pay their respects, Network Rail are planning extensive network disruptions to do maintenence, increasing travel times and the use of buses by disabled veterans. What idiot in Network Rail authorised this Sunday of all Sundays to carry out maintenence. No wonder they are struggling to keep customers or the general public happy with their service. They need to employ people with a common sense of decency and who can make correct decisions.

I was recently travelling with my 87 year old mum fromPaddock wood to Canterbury. My mother is a little unstable on her legs sometimes and I asked at Paddock wood if a guard could help if needed. The guards were amazing both on the outward and return journeys. I wanted to say a huge thank you to all that helped. Everyone was friendly and seemed to go over and above their duties.
