Fourteen of us had dinner this weekend

Fourteen of us had dinner this weekend. We had a delicious sharing menu for the table. It was nothing short of exceptional (and I'm very fussy). We couldn't believe the service we received. Ana, our waitress, was great, doing everything with a smile and joy. The food was plentiful from the deliciously fresh burrata to the succulent rib eye steak. If you and friends want a get together with amazing food, you have to try this place out!

3D was "turned off"

We chose to go to Olympic over our local (and cheaper) Curzon cinema because it was showing Anselm in 3D. However as we were entering the screening room we heard a customer asking why the film wasn't being shown in 3D. The explanation was the 3D was "turned off". There was no advance warning of this and no apology. What a way to treat customers. Should have stuck with my lovely local Curzon. Oh, and the bar had no gin left.
