Not worth it
Not worth it! - Hidden costs and poor performance.I recently bought, and returned to the shop for a full refund, an Omron X4 Connect AFib. Having used a monitor without Bluetooth connectivity for many years I thought this would be useful to simplify recording my measurements. 1. My primary justification for returning the monitor was the absurdly short battery life. The batteries supplied with the monitor lasted about 8 days and the brand new replacement batteries lasted about the same. This fortunately gave me a clear reason to return the monitor, though there were so many other reasons why I wanted to.2. Readings (current and past) are displayed without showing date or time. However, behaviour of the app indicates that date and time are tracked by the monitor (see 4).3. When a "TruRead" measurement is taken, only the TruRead average is displayed, not the three averaged readings. This is probably as it should be, except behaviour of the app indicates otherwise.4. Date and time is set on the monitor when connected to the phone. It appear to do this AFTER transmitting a reading as when making the first two readings after the clocks went back for the winter, the first reading appears in the app as being almost an hour after the second. From the above it can be seen that use of the app is essential to keep track of one's BP. Therefore one should expect basic useful functionality to be included without having to pay an annual subscription of more than twice the price of the monitor for the premium version of the app.5. The app is promoted on the website as providing export of customised reports as CSV or PDF (this is separate from the extra functionality of the Premium subscription is detailed later) however it only offers CSV and EXCEL export of incomplete raw data.6. TruRead readings are not exported, instead the three component parts are exported with no indication of grouping. 7. Comments stored against the TruRead readings are not exported.8. See "4" above - Incorrect time is exported for some readings. In conclusion, I believe the monitor and free app are not fit for purpose as they are. The information available about the Premium app subscription is too sparse and too vague to be able to judge whether paying an additional £120 / year would make it fit for purpose. Even if it does, the cost is too high.

Bought a new Omron M2 Basic blood…
Bought a new Omron M2 Basic blood pressure monitor. Worked for few weeks and then stops working. Even after replacing with new batteries the battery level shows only one point. Called the customer care the guy speaks very rudely and doesn't bother to help or hear anything.

Omron—leaders in health monitoring, except when it comes to monitoring the pulse of accessibility.
Omron—leaders in health monitoring, except when it comes to monitoring the pulse of accessibility. As a visually impaired customer, I reached out to Omron with a simple, life-enhancing suggestion: introduce a talking blood pressure monitor. A voice that reads results aloud—a basic feature that could empower thousands of VIPs to monitor their health independently.Their reply? Robotic. Bland. A canned apology and a promise to “forward feedback.” No empathy. No urgency. No vision. Here’s the reality: when your product is silent, so is the support.VIPs - VIP = Visually Impaired People deserve better. We deserve products that speak to us, not just about us. If Omron wants to stride toward innovation, they need to stop tiptoeing around accessibility and start leading.Omron, you’ve got brilliant tech—now give it a voice that includes all of us.Add-on for the Trustpilot Review:If Omron steps up and gives their devices a voice, I’ll be back—with a sequel review that’s louder, prouder, and filled with applause. But if they continue to sideline VIPs, I won’t be the only voice calling them out. This is bigger than me. The chorus is growing. It’s time for companies to listen before we start shouting—together.________________________________________Final Bardic Verse for the Trustpilot Review:So heed this call, Omron:Your silence speaks volumes. But ours won’t stay quiet. We’re building a choir of those left out,With lived truth and poetic clout.Give your machines a voice—Or hear ours, loud and proud,Echoing from every cloud. This isn’t just tech talk, it’s heart talk.Accessibility isn't optional. It’s operatic. And we’re composing the movement, beat by beat.

Had to contact customer service to get the 1-Year Free Premium App Subscription
When buying an Omron blood pressure monitor advertised as including 1-year free Omron Connect Premium app subscription, you need to be aware that if you have previously activated the 30-day free Premium trial, you will need to contact customer service to get your 1-year free subscription.I specifically tried the Premium features before purchasing the Omron Complete just two days later, and I was denied the 1-year free subscription to the Premium Omron Connect app, even though I cancelled the trial on the second day. I checked the Amazon and Omron UK adverts again, and I cannot see any mention of this restriction. I have always thought Omron was a reputable company that treated their customers fairly and did not mislead them, but now I seriously question that. I have emailed Omron to request activation of my 1-year free subscription, but so far I have not received any response. The whole situation is deeply frustrating and disappointing. Update 9.7.25:After emailing all the requested information: a screenshot of the online offer, purchase receipt, a screenshot of my Account Settings in the Omron app, a screenshot of the Rewards section in the Omron app and providing a log file via the app, I was eventually contacted by a Technical Specialist Engineer for OMRON connect, who assured me that my 1-year subscription would be granted. However, I was informed it would only be activated approximately two weeks after my trial ended. Although the consultant was polite, they were extremely insistent that I update this review immediately — and after receiving a second email urging me to do so, I felt borderline threatened. This pressure, combined with the effort it took to receive what I paid for, made the experience unnecessarily uncomfortable and unpleasant.Update 20.8.25:Be aware that when you have the 1-year free Premium Member subscription, you will not be granted access to the Rewards section on the Omron Connect app. This is only available to subscribed Premium Members.

Bought a new omron blood pressure…
Bought a new omron blood pressure machine, top of the range. Brilliant for the first few weeks and then Omrom change the app so it won't work now. Why sell something then mess up the app? Don't buy Omron as they don't care once they have you money....
