Makes a difference to have instant & reliable customer service for help, advice & assurance

I'm blown away after a week of frustration with bathroom/builder confusion. This company have managed to make things clear so easily this morning.I called before shop opening hours enquiring about their combined bidet/toilet which I found on Ebay cheaper and better quipped than any other I can find on the internet. The guy couldn't have been more helpful. He answered my email and sent photos to show my builder all before 9am! I'm compelled to write this review after being given crummy bathroom advice from the major big companies all week. People should benefit from smaller companies like this instead of throwing away time with the bigger names. Highly recommend Palm Trading on Ebay

What should have been a simple return…

What should have been a simple return of a faulty item and a refund was made difficult by this company. A faulty blowtorch caused the discharge of a full cylinder of an inflammable gas which was potentially dangerous.I bought an item on EBay from this company which became faulty after one month of use. When I tried to return it via EBay the return was declined, despite my detailing the fault. This was put down to “an automated response”. I escalated the case to PayPal and it was resolved and I received an agreed refund for the faulty item. The company does not seem to read messages and it’s responses do not answer any question asked. Their response to my negative feedback was met with an untrue statement of a request that I had not made.From the first moment that I asked for a return their unhelpful responses were “we only allow £3 for postage” On receipt of the faulty item they made the comment “it has been well used” (in the month I had it). Had they read the initial message this could have been sorted out simply. This company clearly values its feedback highly and is very protective of it, so much so as to misrepresent the facts. Customer service is nil. Unfortunately the Ebay forum does not allow enough space to fully explain the sequence of events fully and in a factually correct manner. I described the company as ungracious In my opinion. All of my other statements were of fact.
