Fine Asian Dining
I took my wife to the Asian bistro last week. As we don’t dine out very often it was something of a special occasion.On arrival, the interior and ambience of the place was very classy, and very welcoming. We ordered a few dishes as we both love Asian food. While the service wasn’t as good as it could have been, the food more than made up for it: exceedingly fresh, very well cooked, and wonderfully presented. The ‘coconut curry bouillabaisse’ was to die for. If I did have to make one criticism, it would be that the servings were on the lighter side, though to me that’s normal, and to be expected for food so well prepared and presented. All in all a great experience. We’ll definitely go back.

Perfect Spot
Took my friends and husband to the Penthouse for our birthday party and wow this is the place for friends, initmacy, couples night out or the place to take a date that you want to impress. Love it from the start, the food was good the service was excellent the only problem was the food was not enough. Definately coming back, for the view and for the service/

birthday dinner
The only complaint I have was that it was so cold! Or else it would've had 5 stars, they need to either crank up the heat or add a few more. Other than that the service was great. When we arrived they were able to accommodate us to a seating more of our liking which i greatly appreciated. The dinner was perfect and my dessert was delicious. I couldn't be happier, me and my boyfriend said we will definitely be coming back. Maybe when its warmer though!

Great atmosphere, food, drinks and view of the city. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone for both groups or date night out.

Beautiful View!!!!
I loved it i had a great time. My food was delicious and it was a good portion. I went there for my friends birthday and she also had a great time. it was a little too dark in there it was hard to read the menu other than that it was a wonderful night. The waiter was very pleasant. We were there pretty late and even spoke to the owner or the manager i'm not sure but he was definitely the man in charge. He was very charming and polite. The view was beautiful. I would love to see it again on a warmer day.

Very fridge temperature
The food and music were excellent! We were moved to three different tables because of the fridge temperature. It was minus teens with the wind chill factor. The staff was very accommodating to my party of four. I would go there again and again. The view was Beautiful.

Great service not so great food
our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service. My food was charred on one side, another order was late to the table because it was dropped on the stairs. One of the cocktails brought to the table was not what was ordered. I asked for decaf coffee after the meal and was told they were out by our waiter. The manager came over to say they had decaf. I believe our waiter since, after having their "decaf", I was awake most of the night. Great views of the skyline but I wont be back to eat.

The location, the delicious food, the ambiance, the friendly staff... I have nothing but praised for this restaurant. I can't wait to go back for my birthday dinner and have told several friends about it already.

Good place to chill and relax.
We had dinner for our anniversary the day after Christmas. This place was kind of quite, but warm and inviting. We ordered $98 Sushi boat and thought it should be plenty for two of us. But it came with 16 pieces sushi and 2 rolls. In our opinion it's not worthy. We should have to order 2 orders of chef choice ($24 for 7 pieces) and pick other rolls in my own choice. Overall service is nice and it's a good place to celebrate for a special occasion.

Work Holiday Party
I booked my employer's holiday work party with Lyn Chhua and the process could not have been simpler. She was quick to respond to any inquiry and was very accommodating. My colleagues and I were more than impressed; all I could hear today (Monday) were rave reviews about Friday night's party. There are numerous packages one can book with Penthouse808 and I would highly recommend this venue. The view is spectacular, they partner with the hotel for shuttle options to and from the train (as it is a bit desolate in the area), the food was delicious and served in a timely fashion. The bar tenders were even personable! Overall, our holiday party was a success this year thanks to Lyn and the rest of the staff at Penhouse808.
