Great customer support and quality of print

I wanted to have a drop shipping solution for my art prints at a price which I can be profitable when I sell. Tested numerous options including Gelato. I must say that the quality of the Prodigi is amazing! It matched my illustrations and even the paper was of superior quality to Gelato. But what stood out with Prodigi, was their customer support. Nicola and Hannah were great in handling all my questions (and I had a lot!) I am really happy I chose Prodigi.

We were very disappointed with our…

We were very disappointed with our recent experience with Prodigy. Four of our orders were delayed in dispatch, and unfortunately we were not given a clear or reliable delivery timeframe. We were provided with two revised dispatch dates, both of which passed without the orders being sent, and we were asked to wait further.As a business, we invest a significant amount of time in creating custom designs for our customers, so these delays had a direct impact on our timelines and reputation.When we eventually asked about a full refund due to the ongoing delays, no confirmation was provided, and we were told that the team would check what could be done. At the time of writing, the matter remains unresolved.We hope Prodigy can improve communication and dispatch reliability moving forward, as these are critical for businesses relying on their services.

Was great once. Not so much now.

I started using Prodigi a few years ago after some ongoing quality issues with another printing company. At first Prodigi were a breath of fresh air, with quick dispatch times, fantasic customer service and great quality products. Which made them my go to place when it came to buying print on demand products over the last couple of years. I've spent over 15K with them and have been happy with both the products and service I've recieved. However over the past six months my experiance with them has become cumbersome and frustrating, which has lead me to write this review.My problem lies mainly with their "dispatch" times and their customer service. Whilst the quality of their products is still excellent, the entire experiance of using their business is soiled by their decline in their customer service and their inability to dispatch an order correctly.My main problem started when selecting Evri next day delivery as my preferred shipping method, sometime I had done for years, just for them to ship it with Royal Mail instead. Even after I contacted them to raise my concern about this, the next week I ordered again, just for them to do the same thing again. What makes things even more frustrating however is how they dispatch orders, sending out dispatch notifications on a friday afternoon, when the order hasn't actually been collected from them and instead is collected the following monday and therefore has not actually been dispatched?? My biggest issue however is their customer service. They're really dropped the ball over the last year, with their introduction of Ai. You used to be able to reach them via live chat and get a quick and detailed response usually within an hour. However they've now changed to AI, which first off, isn't even smart enough to be of any help and second of all, why get rid of one best features your company had going for itself... human to human connection. Not that it really matters anymore because when you do manage to talk to a human, they're just as frustrating as the AI, with no sincerity like they once had and their ability to answer questions and concerns like they once used to has gone. For example the last time I spoke to them I asked 3 questions about my order, to which I got no reply. It wasn't until my order was deliverer, that they messaged me back, ignoring all my questions and just saying "your order was delivered today" as if they could sweep all my concerns under the rug and think I'd be forget about it because my order had been delivered? I'll be honest this was the nail in the coffin for me and my decision to leave this review and find another supplier.

Reliable service

Print quality is fantastic. The support staff is efficient and responsive. Much better than the other print on demand services that I've tried.

By far the best notebook seller I've found, and I've tried pretty much all of the UK ones. Quality is great, quick and friendly customer service. Haven't had anything less than 5 star reviews on Etsy. Only downside is not having a short window of time to cancel an order without being charged for the book (human errors), but still wouldn't use anyone else.

Outstanding quality and support from Prodigi

I’ve been working with Prodigi for over 2 years now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with them as a print-on-demand partner. I tested several POD companies at the beginning, but once I started working with Prodigi, I dropped all the others.I regularly receive compliments from my customers on the outstanding print quality of both greeting cards and posters, as well as the excellent, secure packaging.A special thank you to the support team, who are truly amazing. Responses usually come within 24 hours, and they always go above and beyond to resolve any issue quickly and professionally. That level of support makes a huge difference for small businesses.The only challenge I’ve encountered is the dashboard, which feels quite outdated, clunky, slow, and difficult to search, and it slows down the browser! Please, Prodigi, invest in a new system.One final wish: I would love to see Prodigi open a card printing facility in the US. There’s currently no POD there offering the same level of quality and service. I’ve spoken to many US-based Etsy sellers who would welcome this. it could be a fantastic expansion opportunity.Overall, Prodigi has been an excellent partner, and I highly recommend them for anyone serious about quality printing.

Stuck on “processing”, now solved!

17/12/2025 Edit: the issue is now solved. It was quickly solved by Hannah, who did her best to ship the orders manually with express shipping. Thank you Hannah!13/12/2025: Some of my orders haves stayed on "processing" for days, and for some it’s been weeks. When i click on "reprint", it says "reprinted", and when I refresh the page, it's back to its initial state. I emailed support but they're taking their sweet time. My clients are still waiting for christmas cards they ordered mid-november.

Non-existent customer Service. Conflicting Specifications

I'm in the process of setting up a print on demand and drop-shipping for my art poster and custom book website. I'd planned to have Prodigi as the backend and wanted to have proofs made before shipping. However, I cannot get a pdf to complete uploading to the site. I've contacted support and as another reviewer mentioned, they acknowledge receipt of the email and that they've forwarded the issue to the relevant department, but I've heard nothing five days later, with two follow-up emails.Secondary to this issue is that there are discrepancies between the product sheets that are on the product page and the one that they send as part of the auto-response support email. After deciding to make tweaks to the pdf myself and upload it again, I can't even get the product to load to my shopping cart. I'm now in another browser trying to see if I get a different outcome. However, given this experience and the upcoming holiday rush, I believe it would be unwise to go with prodigi. I read a review from several months ago that had a similar experience and a Prodigi rep promising that they'd make sure the issue doesn't happen again. Clearly, the issues are still happening. I don't know if this lack of service is to steer people to their subscription service with an actual human rep to resolve issues. I will offer that if a company doesn't perform at the free trial level, the chances of a customer buying the premium service is going to be low.It very much goes without saying, timely responses in print-on-demand and drop-shipping are absolutely critical. If Prodigi cannot perform, they should not be in this business.

I had a small issue with billing

I had a small issue with billing. After some emails the problem was solved and the canvas printing was delivered on time and in good shape. Thanks to the fast response everybody is happy.

Avoid

Ordered two A1 prints in box frames. SLA time from order to dispatch is three days. Order has now taken over a week. Every time I check the dashboard the projected day for dispatch is extended. No email, no order update. I contacted them by email to ask what was happening, they told me the initial prints had failed their quality checks. Having to chase them for this information reason is frustrating given money has changed hands. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with this company and it serves me right for thinking it might be different. Interaction with customer service is frustrating, only by email and the information they provide is really vague. I’d avoid this company. They’re unreliable and their customer service is poor.

Good assistance with quality issues

I give 4 stars because I think the print quality is very good and the framed eco canvas prints and regular framed canvas prints are also very beautiful.I regret that I discovered minor damage to the frames on a few occasions. I would not be happy if my work arrived at a customer's premises in this condition.(I hope that quality control before dispatch will be tightened up a little.)What I do think is great is the after-sales service. When I report a problem (and add a photo of the defect), the mistake is always rectified and the work is remade and sent again.

What is important as an artist when selecting a printhouse?

As an artist it is so important for me to use a print lab service that strongly focus on quality. When you spend days, or even weeks composing and drawing a piece, being able to have it printed and for that print to not only reflect the time the artwork took, but to represent the images well, in tone, colour and detail is an absolute priority. And when setting up a digital gallery for people to also buy and enjoy your artwork, you want it also to be the best it can be, delivered promptly and for that process to not cost too much and be considerate to the Earth. This is why I have chosen to use Prodigi as my main POD provider for my artwork. As an artist they both meet and exceed my expectations for quality and service.

I’ve been with Prodigi for 4 years and…

I’ve been with Prodigi for 4 years and overall, they’ve been excellent. Orders are always fast, and the team is consistently helpful whenever I need support.I’ll admit I’m not a fan of the AI live chat, and yes, stock issues pop up from time to time. But whenever that happens, the team is quick to step in and help. I do wish we’d get notified about stock problems a little sooner so we can keep our customers updated, but compared to other companies I’ve tried, Prodigi really stands out.After testing a different provider for another product, I’ve come to appreciate Prodigi even more and I won’t be using anyone else for my art. My experience with Prodigi has been great, and I know I can rely on them.

Never shopping here again

I ordered 3 different sized jigsaws to trial their products before adding it to my store. £80GBP later and I wont be using this company nor recommending them. The jigsaws were flaking the the art work peeling off before even unpacking the whole thing. It's been 7 days since complaining but their team havent responded. I have supporting photos. I'm really disappointed and would appreciate some financial relief

Unreliable

I waited nearly a month to find out my order was messed up with no communication whatsoever. I wish I had gone elsewhere, and will not be using Prodigi again.

the words UI

Honestly, the worst UI experience I’ve ever had. I just wanted to print my own work and frame it for the wall... but I ended up giving up entirely! It was impossible to figure out how to do it. First, they insisted on storing my card details. Then, the file types weren’t supported—yet there was no clear indication of which formats actually are.I mean if png and tiff are not supported, then what is?! I’m not even sure if I was on the right page, but frankly, from so many options and confusion - I couldn’t care less now. I will be printing my artwork somewhere else. The only good thing about Prodigi is their sample box. That’s it!
