Recruitment company (R-everse) stole me from their own client, interviewed me for 4 months and wasted everyone's time and money

Here is my experience with a recruitment company called R-everse, which is based in Italy and Germany.I applied through them for a job, as a business development manager or something of the sort. Instead of this company sending me through to their client like they were paid to do, they decided to hide my application from them and interview me for an internal position within the recruitment company (R-everse). The position would have been a country manager for Finland, so I was delighted to be considered as usually those positions carry a much higher salary. The first call I had with the company was late November/early December (I can't remember exactly). During this phone interview, they happily told me how they stole me from their client and we chatted about my background. We agreed to a second interview that would be held via Teams. Between the first and second interview, I received an email that I would not be considered for the position they offered. Puzzled, I emailed them and they told me how that email was an accident. Onwards to the second interview then! The second interview came and went well, after which we agreed on a third one again via Teams. Between these two interviews, I got an email once again about how I'm not considered for the role anymore. I ignored that email, thinking that they made a mistake again. And they did.The third interview went well and I was asked for a fourth interview. Fine, I'll see them for the fourth time. Suddenly they wanted to interview me in a city that was over a 3-hour drive away, asking me to break the very strict Covid restrictions. I was extremely hesitant about doing this, not only because of the restrictions but the time and money I would spend going to another city that far away. I went anyway as this was the most promising job despite their constant failures. The fourth interview went well again, and they said they would let me know in a few days. I waited well over a week to only receive the box standard denial with no excuses. 0/10 can't recommend.tl;dr: R-everse stole me from their client, interviewed me for four months, asked me to break Covid restrictions and ended up denying my position.
