Unlicensed Crooked Maryland Contractor
Let me tell you about my wild fiasco with RK's Bathtub and Tile Restoration (Dundalk, MD 21222). Within a month or so of the handiwork that RK's did in my home, I had to call him back because the reglazing paint was lifting off my bathtub. Over a period of several months, I had him back again two more times for the same thing... peeling refinishing paint from the bathtub because he didn't prepare and clean the surface properly before he painted it. Each time, he charges a return fee to comeback to fix his poor and inadequate handiwork; nothing is covered under a warranty; the paint products he uses are not durable.After I got tired of paying his return fees, I filed a formal complaint with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) only to find that Mr. King was (and continues to be) unlicensed to do business legally in the State of Maryland. For whatever reason, Mr. King maintains a Facebook business page for RK's Bathtub and Tile Restoration in violation of a directive he received from the MHIC to remove it, but like his criminal history reflects, he intentionally disobeys the rules and flouts the law!n.b. If you really think this guy gets all 5 star reviews for his inferior handiwork, it's because he has the 1 star reviews (particularly on Google and Facebook) blocked or removed... he did it to me so I know!
