The support is not existed proprietary parts. I do have Siegfried and can provide a serial number/birth cert if needed. The bike has been served me well, but I changed a lot of parts to make it riddible. It serves me as a commuter..However, I asked a question regarding some proprietary hardware. They never reply.

Received a broken bike
Received a broken bike. It’s still sitting untouched, wrapped, beautiful but broken.I’ve just asked them what the duck, but from my readings over here about their customer service, I guess I’ll just have to throw it away. Nice

Slow Slow slow shipping
I ordered handlebars on a Thursday and it's now the next Wednesday and no shipping yet. Thats a complete week before they decided to fulfill the order. I ordered before and it was even longer but I figured it was a one time thing, nope. If you can't or don't have the motivation to run a healthy functioning online store, then don't. Service is what brings customers to you and not just a pretty website. lost me as a fan and customer.

I would give zero stars if possible.
I would give zero stars if possible.I ordered my bike from Schindelhauer in May and was told it would arrive in the middle of July. The bike didn’t arrive and still hasn’t! And there has been ZERO communication from Schindelhauer. I have contacted them via e-mail twice with no answer apart from an autogenerated response. I have not been able to find their phone number as it is not listed.I have paid 2.000€ for my bike back in May and I’m sitting here with nothing, not even an updated time of arrival. I am now looking into cancelling my order.I do not recommend.

Heinrich Enviolo 2023
I spent a lot of time researching what is by far the most important bike buy for me for decades and my first electric bike. I am not disappointed! The Heinrich is a really beautiful looking bike, but a bike needs to be more than good looking - and this one is a lot more than that. With the Enviolo gearing system, Gates carbon drive, the Bosch performance line motor and wide tyres it is incredibly silent, smooth, clean and sleek. I wanted to give it a couple of months before I wrote a review so that I could absorb this bike. There are two parts - the bike and the gears. The sleek, longer and slightly lower riding position compared to say a Giant (upright) gives a manoeuvrability that feels very natural, with the lower centre of gravity meaning that cornering on roundabouts is a dream and the wider tyres grip and absorb bumps better than skinnier ones.Luggage - plenty of space up front for 15kilos of kit and another 16 kg on the integrated luggage bars (great design) via a couple of Ortlieb Backroller Urbans hooked over it.The luggage rack up front does not interfere at all with balance or steering. I've built a custom wooden crate for mine but there are bags that will fit.Brakes are silent too and are good and firm. Integrated mudguards are perfect with their integrated lights too. Then the gears - this was the biggest change to cycling as I knew it. Set your cadence and the hub knows when it's a struggle and smoothly slides you down the ratio curve. Silently. No clunks and clicks, missed sprockets and worn teeth. No oil. And that Gates belt is also noiseless and smooth. You can change the pedalling cadence setting depending on the kind of ride you want that day. 50 for a slow round town, 55 and 60 for a sportier feel. If you go up to 65, and aim for a hill, it feels like you've changed down quite a few conventional gears - but without the clicks. You can adjust the settings here depending on how much effort you want to put in. It's a very natural way to ride, but also quite different from conventional gears. On the flat, the gears just accelerate you at the same cadence. I like the fact that there is no braking effect from the motor once you have reached 25kmph. A little more effort and you can cruise at 30 if it's flat - and so you feel like you're taking more exercise (you are). To sum up - for me this is the best bike out there for town and touring. It's not a MTB and it's not designed to be.Its a stable and sturdy performer in all respects with sleek design, clean lines, hidden cables and the mechanics to get you around the place - along with your kit. It's a shame there are negative reviews here - supply chains were devastated over the last two years (Covid) but I can understand the frustration. Even my bike was a bit late - but honestly, it was worth the wait. I have had email replies back from Schindlehauer after a few days. You don't make decisions like this every day - so take your time and make the right one, then patience until it happens.I'm going to get one for the wife !
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Terrible service & long deliverytimes
I ordered my bike, one of the premium non-electric models Schindelhauer sells in August 2022. It should have been delivered by the 30th of May 2023 which with +9 months is already a long time for a bicycle. But ok, at least I'd have it then!We are the 16th of June 2023 and there is not a sign of the bike to be seen. I have tried to contact their support multiple times to get clarity. Most reach-outs were not responded too at all. Only when I cc'd one of the founders a response came. The response was: "sorry for the delay, our frames did not arrive", "sorry for the delay, our mechanic was sick, we're shipping it by the end of the week", but not : by this date we'll make sure you can ride your bike (explanations are worthless).Today is the end of the week, the bike hasn't shipped, I called their phone number (only open 4hrs a day, 4 days a week!). The person picking up could not answer my question and promised to call back: I haven't heard back and now the support-line is closed. My local shop through whom I ordered is reachable for me, and friendly, but doesn't get any more information either.I'm afraid I made a huge mistake choosing this brand and their bikes. Its clear they are not in control of their processes and that their service does not align with the premium branding & prices they put out there. My advice at this point in time: stay away from them. If you want a bike: buy one that is in stock that you can take away immediately.

Ludwig 14 speed with Rohloff
I own the Ludwig 14 speed with Rohloff hub gear. Have now had it for 5 years. Great to ride, with excellent -in fact 'the standard bearer ' - hub gear. I have taken it to Mont Ventoux, Alpe d'Huez, pyrenees (Tourmalet), and most recently Frank Whitton in the Lake District: never let me down. It is made of high quality materials, that last. Very little maintenance, thanks to the Gates belt drive. Both the distributor (velorution in London) and the company have been good in replying to queries, and sorting out problems.

Terrible Service
Great product. TERRIBLE Customer service and attitude. To the point where I wouldn’t buy from them again.
