Poor sculpt, expensive, couldn't assemble - waste of £7 - leaving this so I don't accidentally buy from them again.

Well sculpted, but too large scale, many imperfections, & much work to assemble
I bought a couple of Scibor dwarves, the pack with 10 cannonneers as proxies for GW irondrakes. The information about the miniatures scale on the website is seemingly incorrect, as when compared with other miniatures of the same alleged scale, Scibor's are much, much taller, about as tall as a GW dark elf. This makes them a complete eyesore in my GW Dwarf army - GW dwarves are 22-25 mm tall, while the Scibor dwarves I received are 30 mm tall. I'm not sure why many Warhammer collectors recommend Scibor dwarves as proxies for GW dwarves when they're that large. They look like space marines, and most who have seen my collection of minis don't recognize the Scibor miniatures as dwarves.The miniatures where also quite laborious to remove from the sprue and had tons of mold lines & flash. Some details where warped, and some of the flat surfaces were misaligned which cost me some tears to fix.Most of it won't be noticed unless held up close, but once the miniatures are up for inspection they look a bit broken. The bases however where top notch.The leftover resin was so much that I built an organ gun body and some landscape parts from it. Shipping took about 17 days and when arrived, the miniatures were well packaged. The minis assemble easily, but be aware that they can be difficult to line up if you're not careful! The ornaments on their armor is very well detailed, so much that an inexperienced painter may face some difficulty painting them.The Scibor dwarves have in general an extremely cool looking design, but due to the casting issues and the misleading info about the miniature sizes, I probably won't order from them in the future unfortunately. Mayyybe I will order one of those golems, though, maybe.As a comparison:Cleaning, assembling & kitbashing a squad of 10 GW dark elf Black guards so that each unit is unique looking has taken me about 4-5 hours. Meanwhile, the Scibor dwarves took me little more than 2 days just to clean up and assemble.

Excellent miniatures, highly recommended
I have ordered a lot of miniatures from Scibor in the last two or three years, mostly dwarves, and I have to say I love them! They are excellently sculpted and cast, with little or no imperfections apart from the usual flash or mould lines which are easily cleaned. The miniatures are full of character and make an excellent alternative to some of the miniatures offered by better known miniature companies, and they are very reasonably priced (unlike some better known miniature companies).What’s more, they have a constant sale offering 30 or 40% discounts on a revolving selection of miniatures. So that dwarf unit or monster you’ve had your eye on one day, could be 40% cheaper the next. It’s well worth keeping a close eye on the Scibor website for these discounts and for new models that are released. Some miniature collectors and painters like myself might complain that there is too much choice of dwarves and monsters and not much choice of elves and humans, but I like dwarves and monsters so I’m not complaining. Plus they have a good selection of sci-fi miniatures. They also have excellent multiple pictures of each product so you can get a good look at what you are buying. Products always well packaged and not too expensive for postage (Scibor are in Poland, I live in Ireland), usually arrives within two weeks. All in all I can’t recommend Scibor miniatures more highly. Well worth a look.
