Edited review:I was initially really disappointed to have the candle making course cancelled several times. And to see extra courses being made available and not contacted about them. There was a lot of correspondence over a period of time. The owner did reach out personally, which was appreciated to explain some limitations on such a small business.She sent out a selection of candles as consolation, which was kind of her. The quality of the candles is excellent, and the personal note that came with them was lovely. I’ve burned a couple of the candles during my working day and they leave a lovely subtle scent that lingers and the candles burn well.Still disappointed I didn’t get to make candles the way I had envisioned, but there’s no denying the products are great.

This is my second purchase from Self Care Co, buying candles. I love that they are all natural with essential oils. Due to being mainly housebound, candles are a real comfort to me so I have tried a lot and these are up there with the best. They burn beautifully too, every time. Another bonus is how excellent the customer service is. They are so passionate about what they do, helping others and their mental health through their products and workshops, it's clear we are not just customers and I felt valued which was so appreciated. The best candles I have ever smelt and they burn until the jar is empty which I love. My favourite scents are the lavender ones.Have contacted them a couple of times on Instagram, they are friendly and always quick to reply. If you make a purchase you must follow them on IG, they hugely support mental health issues.

I really enjoy lighting the SCC candles everyday in the morning during yoga and sometimes cooking in the evening with some music. They are not heavy and all their candles smell amazing. When lighting these and allowing yourself space to enjoy it, a little self care really does go a long way. These candles are a regular purchase for me, also a good gift idea.

Unbelievable products from an ethical and personal company with a great story. The aromatherapy candles are better than all premium candles I have tried in the past.
