Third World Medicine Practice
Last June (over a year ago), my doctor scheduled me for a colonoscopy with Borland Groover at Ascension St. Vincent’s. I remembered having to struggle just to make the appointment. Their automated system was counter intuitive, and when I finally reached a live person, he was dismissive and unhelpful. Their website didn’t make things any easier either — you can’t even create an account until someone in their office manually approves it, leaving you locked out of their system entirely.Yesterday was the scheduled procedure. I arrived around 2:15, and even though I had already checked in online, they handed me a clipboard and had me repeat all the same pointless questions. By 2:43, no one had come to get me, so I informed the receptionist that if no one appeared soon, I would be leaving. I should not have to wait endlessly for a scheduled appointment. The entire experience just highlights how flawed and disorganized their process is.If your doctor recommends Borland Groover for gastroenterology care, I strongly suggest asking for a different specialist. You will be disappointed. They simply do not have their operation together in any area. When a clinic can’t even manage basic appointment scheduling, it’s a clear sign of how far off track they are with the rest of the care they provide.
