Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost! Paid him £70 for a call out to repair my samsung washer dryer, guy had no clue what he was doing then he guessed it's a sensor, replaced it and it fixed an issue for only couple of washes. I rang him to tell him that it's faulty again so he made another guess that it's a PCB. He said it will cost £235! I made my research and found at samsung website that this part cost only £132 when I showed this to him he stopped answering my phone calls.

Avoid using this company at all costs
Appalling service - the engineer came to give a quote to fix my washing machine's door on April 9th. He said he would order a new part, took the door away, and said he would return the following week to fit it, charging 110 pounds for the call out and 30 pounds deposit for the spare part. On the day he was due to return, he rang to say the part had not been delivered but he would come the following day. The following day he called to say the wrong part had been delivered and that he was looking into it and would call back in 10 minutes. I heard nothing. Despite calls and texts and two weeks without a functioning washing machine, he finally claimed he had been in hospital with double pneumonia but would be back the following Monday. When I asked him to be honest and tell me when or if he could fix the door, he told me to "go elsewhere". I asked for the return of the door and the 30 pounds deposit and heard nothing until I said I would be pursuing the matter and suddenly he became slightly more responsive. He delivered the still broken door with not a word of apology. We'll see if the deposit is returned. Did some homework and found a website where we could buy the complete new door for less than the initial callout fee. The new door was delivered the following day, and fits perfectly.Absolutely abysmal - avoid this company at all costs.

Never Turned Up
Despite the website promising that they will see you the same day or next, I rang up on Tuesday and was given an appointment for Friday afternoon. Friday afternoon came and went with no sign of them, so I rang up and got their answer machine. I left a message and - as their website suggested they were also opened Saturdays, tried them then as well. Still no answer. I rang back on Monday (despite my leaving a voicemail they did not ring me back) and explained what had happened. They said they would come on Thursday. This is now a week and two days after my initial call. On Thursday afternoon I then got a text message saying they were stuck on a job in Skipton and would have to reschedule for next week. I rang and explained this was the second appointment they had missed and could they come the next day (Friday) instead and he vaguely said 'Oh, I'll see...', which, bearing in mind the unreliability I had already experienced, did not fill me with confidence that they had any intention of showing. So I told him to cancel the whole thing and I would look elsewhere. They seem to be spreading themselves too far and too thin and accepting more jobs than they can handle - certainly within the terms they claim on their website. Not worth using as, a week down the line, your appliance still won't have been seen and you will have lost multiple days sitting at home waiting for them.

Total Appliance Care have serviced my Range Cooker Doors
I asked Total Appliance Care to come and service the doors on my very old Leisure Rangemaster Range cooker. they came to visit and survey it and quoted me a very reasonable figure. They came to fix the hinges and seals but the seals they had ordered against the serial number were wrong, so they ordered the right ones and returned and replaced the seals. The engineers were Paul and Ian and they were very polite and helpful and I was 100% pleased with the work. I would recommend them to anyone else.
