Have just returned from a weekend in Cartref, we loved it! Lydia was so helpful before, during and this morning when we left. If you want to wake up to beautiful countryside, birds singing and good clean air, this is the place. We only left the farm to go down to The Church House Inn for lunch and the owner even drove us back up the hill! We will definitely be back whenever we need to escape the city!
My husband and I stayed here at the end of September and we stayed in the 6-man tent. We were welcomed upon arrival and shown to our tent and shown how to use log burner and hot tub.Sadly the weather was not great so we didn't get to use the hot tub (this one wasn't under cover like some of the others) or the firepit. The facilities inside the tent are great, everything you could possibly need. The log burner kept us warm during the rainy/windy weather! Beds are comfortable. The only minor negative was the shower temperature doesn't stay consistent; it flicks between cold and scalding hot!The location is lovely! Beautiful views, and far enough away from other tents that you feel like you're alone in the middle of nowhere. Thought it was a good price for what you get. I liked the gift of Welsh cakes too! Before you arrive, you're sent a guidebook which has everything you need to know about your stay and I found this very useful! Would love to stay here again during nicer weather as I'd imagine there are some great walks near by and would love to try the hot tub!
Gorgeous place to stay. Thoroughly recommend for families. Very clean, quiet and stunning views.
