I should have known better
I should have known. I blame myself for buying from Vitacost. I ordered an item and delivery option I picked was FedEx FIC. Now it has been 5 days the link I was given from the customer service shows that item is ready to collect but I have no idea by whom as I didn’t receive message or mail to pickup. The codes I was given non of them works at local carrier. I reached out to. Them and they said talk to seller. For the past 4 days I am in this ping pong. I should have known better. I learned the lesson that never order something costly from retailer I don’t know. Test them with a small order and see how it works.

I love the product, since I have R.A. it's the only thing that helps me function fairly normally. But for some reason it was shipped all the way from the east coast and so took 6 days to arrive, meanwhile I was crippled up with arthritis at a new job. Not that cool.

Terrible and horrible order processingTerrible and horrible order processing; it took 12 days, even though a verification email was sent. After 12 days international order was shipped out, and after that, it was lost in transit. The refund took 3 months. unbelievable and unforgettable experience.

Why aren't I getting any 20% discounts? I almost always get a 20% off coupon for my entire order. I haven't seen a 20% discount for over a month. So I emailed and asked for one, no response. I ended up having to take 10% one order, then placed a 2nd order 6 days later. I got 10% off, then I was sent another 10% coupon. Not quite 20%, but better than 10%! On top of that, I requested OnTrac to deliver my orders. They are always fast, delivered within 2-3 days. But nooo, I got FedEx. They promise to deliver within 5 days but always have delays, usually takes 7-12 days. Very slow service. What has happened to the great service I have come to expect from Vitacost?

I have been ordering from Vitacost for years. I have never had any problems with incorrect orders. One time I did order a couple bottles of juice during transportation one did arrive broken, I did contact Vitacost and they replaced it quickly. Orders are always correct and shipped pretty quickly. I recommend Vitacost to friends and family.

IHerb has ruined Vitacost. I have been purchasing from Vitacost way before Kroger purchased them. I was very happy. But now, Their customer service is horrible. Even though they admit they made errors. They told me they will not honor my earned vitacash. They said if I want vitacsh, I could spend another 120 dollars for the next vitacash promotion. No thanks. Also, my damaged replacement items were not being shipped. When I asked why, They said they require pictures with any damage claims, and I failed to prove my items were actually damaged. I have no problem giving proof. But, I was not asked to submit any while filing my claim. I told them this. I was told that was not true. Actually, that is the truth. I asked why I was not emailed about my claim and any issues. I was told she didn't know but would forward my complaint. Sadly, I will no longer purchase from these guys. I would gladly pay higher prices to a company that treats people well.

I have used Vitacost for many years, first when it was a family-owned business, then, after 2014 when it became part of Kroger, and now as of January 8th 2026 sold to iHerb. On my latest order I have given up. The app no longer will load properly. The site does not work technically in several places. My current order, even with more expensive shipping charges at FedEx, takes longer, is unnecessarily rerouted to a third country, and has been untraceable for the last 2 weeks. I am currently trying to cancel and get my money back. Bye-bye
