Never ever recommending

All started well until now. More than 6months with a dead battery. You cant travel 10km without having any battery issues. Then having 3month with an expired disc being promised nonsense.

Very happy Zoom customer ...

I've had my zoom scooter for nearly 2 years and am 200% satisfied with it. I'm a retiree living in Pasadena (CA) and I use my scooter for nearby errands and just for a relaxing ride through different neighborhoods. In the very beginning I had some issues with their customer service responses but there has been a complete 180 turnaround in both the timing and quality of their responses. The minor maintenance issues I encountered were quickly and thoroughly addressed with their responses and "how-to" recommendations.

This electric scooter is great!

This electric scooter is great! I use it alot to get to campus and even around town. It is the right balance of range, power and nice looks at a good price. I've definitely recommend it and have already recommended it to alot of my friends.

Solid scooter, got it in 1.5 weeks

Ordered one for my commute to my office about 6 miles away. Saving tons of money on gas. Also a great way to enjoy some open air ride around the beach. Scooter is very smooth and easy to ride. When i got my scooter, had questions on how to operate it. the customer service was quick to help and very friendly. Only wish they had more special color choices, but they said they can customize at small extra costs.

Never received the free cover

Ordered my black scooter in June couple weeks later I was informed they didn’t have any more black so I was good enough and took a red one and I was promised a free cover and it’s on the invoice never received the cover contacted a few times no answer not a good way to do business.

Vendor fight review more than providing what was promised.

Harmful or illegal content, what are we living on mainland China? I told the truth, and I stated I'd adjust the review, when the commitments made at the time of sale are upheld. Still waiting, there was nothing illegal or harmful. If you make a commitment to provide a cover, blue tooth speaker, book rack, after all these months (7) you would think they would respond in a positive manner. It's not harmful to tell the truth, well unless it makes your company look bad. Yet that is the point of a review right, welcome to free speech and the free market. If you put the effort into providing the goods and services you claim to provide, then you would not need to fight so hard to hide poor reviews. Really enjoy my Zoom electric scouter

I've been using the Zoom electric scooter for over a year now, and I’ve enjoyed it very much! The scooter has good range (about 50 miles) and power at an affordable price. The range is more than enough for my daily commutes, and the speed goes up to 30 mph, making it perfect for getting around local streets.One thing to keep in mind is that shipping can take a while, but this scooter has a much better price than others with similar power and specs, I think it’s worth the wait. Also, It seems that some of the negative reviews might be from users who didn’t carefully follow instructions or were caught off guard by the shipping time. Personally, I followed the instructions and didn’t have any issues.Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable electric scooter with strong performance, this is a great choice.

Zoom Scooters Scam... Don't Bother Buying.

Ordered a scooter from Zoom Scooters. They were quick to grab up my money. 4+ months later I was still waiting on it. The customer service was horrible. When I did manage to hear from them for an update, I was told it was in this state then in this state oh now it's in this state. After a while they were running out of states to tell me it was in. They wouldn't provide any tracking info. I was not happy, replying that it doesn't take over 4 months to send something across country no matter what it was or how it was sent. They just kept giving me the run around or not getting back to me for weeks at a time. I had to assume that they never bothered to send it to begin with. I finally threatened a lawsuit and to report them as scammers and poof. My money was returned to me within a couple of days. It's obvious they are just out to scam people, grab the money and run with no intentions of delivering the goods. If you are going to sell something like that then you better have A+ customer service and don't post on your website that you deliver anywhere in the USA when you won't. You shouldn't guarantee and not deliver.

Utter incompetence and downright fraud.

I ordered a ZOOM electric scooter 16 June 2022, and a cover, rear storage box and helmet on 23 June 2022. Since no order updates were sent, I requested status updates numerous times over several months. I finally received a reply to my inquiries (I ordered a yellow scooter and received a white one), which was basically that somewhere in their website it specifies that the color choice is not guaranteed due to high volume. Customer Service replied that they could ask the manager to credit me $100.00, which has not happened.Before that, I had requested shipping information due to the length of time the orders were taking and was promised a $100.00 credit. This has not appeared either.Over the last several months I've received no updates or replies. The scooter itself is great, even if it was not the color I ordered; however, the lack of even the most basic customer service has soured the whole experience. Mine is not an isolated issue, as this company has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Great scooter at a great value

Great scooter at a great value. Cool look, fun ride, good range (about 50 miles). Waited a few weeks for it to arrive, but it was worth it. Have had it for over a year and haven’t had any issues.

the most awful customer service

UPDATE: They just replied to my review and what they stated was not correct. "We were very upfront with her about the long wait for her order; because her model is an older version and these parts sometimes take a while to get from older suppliers." this response to my review is the first I'm hearing about this. I re read all the texts and emails and never was that mentioned. I knew nothing about my scooter being an older model. I have a texts that state, "you'll get tracking this week". I have that text 2 different times from nov-jan. They also said they replied over 10x. 10x in Oct (10/10th was my order) -Jan (4 months) is not a lot. I have no responses from Dec 11th correspondence, for instance that was never returned.What they failed to mention is that when I finally asked for a refund because my scooter had been out of service now since OCT (oct to jan is 4 months) and they kept telling me I'd get tracking and I never did-- I decided to look elsewhere for a battery. I then asked for a refund. I had no refund initiation for 7 days. I asked them why my bank hadn't even gotten alerted of a refund. They said "we'll reach out to our colleagues." At day 10, I still had no refund and the bank had no info about it, either. I inquired again where my money was and then I was told they'll venmo me. Which they then did. 10 days after asking for a refund.bottomline: they have horrible customer service and have A LOT of excuses about their suppliers etc. the "our supplier says you'll get tracking soon" , "our supplier said they'll ship today or tomorrow" (nothing for weeks, until I reach out again". And then the SAME with the refund. great product, as long as it's working. But do not expect to get any where for a LONG time if you need help getting it back up and running, and don't be surprised if they have a ton of excuses about their "colleagues" and their "suppliers" for months on end with absolutely no other help.I wish I bought a scooter from a different place to begin with so it wasn't out of service for months on end when all I was waiting for was a simple battery. Buy at your own risk.I also want to mention that they are not backed by BBB and have an F+ rating on there based on other reviews than my own.If they can get a new 'supplier' and way better customer service, it would be a good buy. But until then-- it's a lot of paying out money and waiting while they provide excuse after excuse. -- don't just read my review, read all. ********************************************************Let me 1st say, I love my zoom e-scooter that I’ve had for 2 yrs. 500 miles on it. I ordered a new battery 4 months ago. They told me 3 months ago to be patient they were back stocked. Asked if I want a refund but didn’t tell me what kind of battery it was to look elsewhere. After I’ve asked multiple times. I don’t want a refund. I want the battery I paid for 4 months ago. I would have never bought this knowing how awful their customer service is. I even referred a neighbor to get one. They did. It took 12 weeks to deliver and was the wrong color. Instead of making it right, zoomSaid, “we can take it back refund you and you can order the other color (the one you originally ordered that we demaged in transit) at the new price” which was about $300 more than the one she bought. With NO offer of honoring the price. My neighbor stuck with a color they didn’t want. I have no idea who does their customer service, but they’re awful. I also bought a new passenger foot peg and didn’t get it until 5 months later after reminding them of the order. I now get no response. They are just so awful. It’s so sad cause the product is great but they suck so horribly and are the only ones who sell it. I would definitely buy a different brand with better customer service over the better product. I can’t even use this scooter until I get a new battery, which I don’t even know is coming!?I feel very very angry and sad at this point. It just sitting in my garage unable to be ridden and while I’ve made every effort to make it work, the company won’t work with me and honor my order.

I love my scooter

I love my scooter! Ive had my ZOOM scooter for about 1 year. I work from home and do not have a car and live in a small flat city. I don’t drive it every day but this thing has saved me tons of money on Uber and Lyft. VIP parking wherever I go is wonderful. I regularly ride with my boyfriend and we’re both tall and it still achieves speeds of 32-33. We’ve hit some giant pot holes on accident and never gotten a flat. We LOVE it, it makes life easier in a congested city. Customer service has been excellent via chat on their website. Sometimes response was slow but anything I needed or questions I had they were on point. It’s important the scooter stays DRY. Park it inside whenever possible. I keep mine covered at all times. Be sure to pull it back on the main kick stand or it might fall over. (That happened, it’s ok). It has about 700 miles on it. Not a ton. My hope is that it lasts 1-2 more years. I would buy another because I LOVE it and the customer service is awesome. Just message them with some patience and persistence. My boyfriend is planning on buying one to save on gas and insurance. Great electric scooter!

I bought the Zoom electric scooter for my son in college and he loves it! He is able to get from his apartment to school and everywhere else he needs to go around town. This is a great affordable option compared to getting him a car, since my son doesn't need to ride anywhere that is more than the range of the scooter (which is about 50 miles). I browsed a number of electric scooters and my son thought this one looked the coolest and we thought it was a good value compared to other scooters with similar power. Definitely recommend this electric scooter.

great scooter, poor cust service

I first purcased a zoom scooter at the end of last summer. It took about 6 weeks to arrive, then my husband tried to purchase a box for it, after several months it still hadn't arrived, after multiple attempts to contact them, they finally responded via email, said it was never sent and returned the money. On April 17, I ordered another zoom scooter (along with 2 storage boxes and racks), its now august 24, and still hasn't arrived. I realize shipping takes longer by freight, but over 4 months is way too long to wait. They finally responded when I wrote a negative review and let me know where it was (that was over a month ago), they did offer to refund the money, but I really wanted another scooter (for my hubby). Ive since emailed and called to find out if they would track it again, but they never respond. It does make me wonder how the warranty would work if they are that bad at responding. They really need to figure out a better way to ship these things, so frustrating!!!

Cool electric scooter

I really enjoy my electric Zoom scooter. It's a fun way to get around the city and makes finding parking easier. Lots of people give me compliments on how cool it looks. The shipping took a while, but this had a good price. I would recommend it, as I've had a good experience with it for over a year and it's a good value.

BEWARE

BEWARE. I ordered a Zoom e-scooter based upon the Trustpilot score of 4.0 shown on the website which is obviously WRONG. After 5 MONTHS of waiting and being told 4 times that the scooter was in route and would be delivered at the end of the month (March, April, May, June) I finally accepted a refund. They continued misrepresent their commitments. Therefore, I can only imagine how unreliable their product warranty and service would be.At the request of Zoom I am providing additional background. After 2 months they offered to refund my money, but I believed their misrepresentation on delivery status. They then offered a $300 discount to take down my original complaint and recieve an end of month delivery. Because I needed/wanted the scooter i chose the delivery. For the subsequent months, they offered the same refund or end of month delivery. I chose delivery. Still NO SCOOTER.After 5 months of misleading information, chiding from my friends and family, and checking out Better Business Bureau - F RATING, I submitted to accepting the refund for the scooter I was never going to get from Zoom. If they misrepresent about purchase and delivery, what kind of warranty and support could I expect, if I ever received the scooter that apparently was never shipped.

Up Date 6/3/23

I would like to give an update a resent review that I wrote about Zoom Scooters. Zoom Scooters did contact me and refunded my $423.00 for the batteries that I ordered on 12/15/22. I feel the workmanship put into the scooters they manufacture is top notch. In true defense to Zoom Scooters, I think their suppliers are probably passing on delivery schedules that they may not be able to keep. Lastly, a breakdown in communication can cause negativity with customers. People like to be kept in the loop.

New update!

This is an update from my review in January. ZOOM did get us the batteries, it did take longer than expected but ZOOM made it happen after my review here. We had trouble installing the new batteries. It is not easy but customer service stayed with us & guided us. Finally got to ride it & realized the speed would not accelerate past 16mph before changing batteries I got it up to 25mph. Again contacted customer service & he helped us right away. Primarily thru email & text. But we got the job done & back riding again. So I changed my review from 3 to 4 stars for the extra support recently. This is such a fun scooter to ride & so quiet! Thanks for ZOOM’s support!

It took almost a month for my bike to…

It took almost a month for my bike to arrive. It was almost dark when the shipper arrived. I didn’t try to unpack it until the next morning. When I removed the cardboard box I noticed some shipping damage on the metal package frame . After I removed the frame I found that my front tire was cut and unserviceable. I notified Zoom and they said they would send me a new tire. Three more weeks went by before the tire arrived. I rode it several miles and I really like it but somehow I managed to loose the keys. I called Zoom and they said that they would send me a new ignition switch. That was four weeks ago and I have not got any info on when I will receive it.
