I was having a lot of trouble with other wishlist platforms who were NOT being helpful with resolving my issues. I saw someone mention YouPay so I decided to give them a try. They were very accommodating and helpful to both me, the creator, and was easy for fans to use. I was able to hit my goal on a crowd funded item within a day and had my money transferred in the same day. It's a great platform for all types of content creators!

Im very annoyed
I had someone gift me a few gifts that ended up instantly going "under review", whatever understandable for my first gifts. I got an email saying that i or the gift sender would get an email shortly saying they needed more info. Neither of us could figure out who was getting the email because it took a while to come even though it sounded like an automatic email. After a day they had the gifts clear. Great! A few days later this same sender, who already verified information ect sent more. Keep in mind this person has sent way more over throne without a single issue. Same thing, instant under review, same vague emails. This time its been silence lol. The sender had to verify more information but its now been 5 days of radio silence and I obviously don't want to fill up their ticket system. Customer service has been awful so far. I have 600$ "under review" and the whole time they advertise instant withdraws. Which mind you isnt even in my country anyways. You would think after 5 days I would at least have a response LOL..... I dont know if I will continue using this because throne is simply better. If it was more clear as to what is going on i wouldnt care!!!!!!update: they replied since but I guess its just a waiting game now.

Frustrated at the lack of communication and gift that hasn’t been “captured”
The first time I used YouPay everything will without a hitch. Although they did wait to alert me I’d have to wait a full 24 hrs before I could try to transfer money (24 hrs from when you first received it) but that was no biggie. The next two times, however, I’ve had the complete opposite experience and it’s been unnecessarily difficult, frustrating, and has turned me off from using it again in the future. On a Sunday night a fan send me a cash gift. When I received the email from YouPay about said gift they stated they first needed to capture more information from either me or the gifter and that this was standard procedure to “protect creators”. They also mentioned “85% of gifts go through on the first try”. OK, I guess so I had to wait for them to complete some security checks or similar. About four hours later I receive another email saying “user 8178376 has sent you a gift!” and upon checking my account I saw the gift was in there and able to be withdrawn. Cool. Later that night another fan sent me a gift and I received the same “You received a gift but before we can capture the funds we need more information from you or the seller.” I was a little peeved at this point because according to their own website “85% of gifts go through on the first try” but so far I was batting one thousand for the night so I find that claim of theirs doesn’t at all match my, albeit short, experience on the site. Despite that being frustrating there was nothing I could do besides wait so that’s what I did. Now, the email states “However, before we can capture the funds, our team needs more information from either yourself, or the gifter.” so I informed the gifter to be on the look out for an email from them and I did the same. Neither of us received any email from them that night or the next day or at all for that matter. The status on the website for the transaction states “action required” but I don’t know what action that could possibly be given they haven’t bothered to communicate with me or the gifter at all. I reached out to them using a support ticket and through IG and have not received a reply from either. The funny thing about this is I was the one who suggested YouPay to one of the people who sent me a gift because I had read about how it was similar to Throne so it was because of me they used it to send their gift, otherwise they would have used what they always have used which is Throne. Well, now he’s concerned he flushed money down the drain given their lack of communication so he told me he’ll never try it again. Granted I don’t blame him but it reflects badly on me I feel because I was the one who suggested he use it in the first place. Do with this what you will. Could they just be having an off day? Sure. Could they also just be bad at communicating, have unclear practices and pointless hoops to jump through? Also yes. I won’t be using them again that’s for sure but your mileage may vary.

My Experience with YouPay has been…
My Experience with YouPay has been excellent I created my account a couple of months ago. I have a variety of gifts , gift cards, etc listed on my account. I received my first gift (monetary value) and I didn’t have any issues with withdrawing to my US bank account. So far I think it’s great, there’s so many features, it’s super creative, and I’m gonna continue using too . Thanks Nina Dolci

Non-existent customer service!
I previously had no problem with them but my recent experience has been the worst. I've been trying to get customer service to assist me with my gifted prepaid cards not wanting to activate for weeks now with no success. I've logged multiple tickets, sent multiple emails but still nothing. I've informed them that the activation deadline is in a few days, that didn't bother them. Even now I'm still waiting to be assisted. Worst service ever!!!
