They claim to have a hassle free return…

They claim to have a hassle free return policy, but they don't accept returns for incorrect selections.I purchased a textbook from a required class list but then was told the updated version was required. So, I purchased the updated version from them expecting to be able to return the first textbook. I had relied on their hassle free statement and then read that improper selections are not eligible for return. I won't buy another book from them regardless of price.

DO NOT BUY; SCAM!!

DO NOT BUY; SCAM!! They sent me the wrong book, TWICE, and then never processed my refund. For weeks, I communicated back and forth with "customer service," and they continuously claimed to be "working on the refund," although nothing ever came. They scammed me the entire time.

I ordered picture frames in November and have requested delivery or a credit MULTIPLE TIMES. Do not do business with this company. I should have checked reviews before placing my order. AGAIN, do not do business with this company.

I will not purchase from this business again.

I ordered a box set of books on November 30th. I had reviewed the company's return policy in advance of the purchase. When I received the item in the mail, it was poorly packed (not in a box, just packing tape and a single layer of bubble wrap). As it is a box set, the box was damaged. The condition had been listed as new, and it was not a new set.Additionally, the books were taped together, further damaging them. When I attempted to contact the seller, I was initially sent messages confirming that the books had been shipped. Once the seller acknowledged my message about the damage and my request for a refund, they indicated that their policy is to issue a 10% refund. This information is nowhere on their website. If it had been, that would have been a red flag to me, and I would not have purchased in the first place. When I messaged them with photographs, they replied that, as a "goodwill gesture," they would issue me a 25% refund. Again, this is arbitrary and unacceptable. I left three messages at the listed phone number and have not received a response. UPDATE: After posting this review and filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau, the vendor refunded the full amount charged. I will not purchase from this business again.

Your Book Stop is hands down the best bookstore available. I got the book I was looking for at a very reasonable price, almost 30% cheaper. The delivery was quick and smooth. Great experience

Do not buy from here

Last update: Finally received a refund but what a hassle to get it. Update: They said the book had been lost and offered a refund which has not shown up yet after almost 2 weeks. No book, no money, still a scam. not buy from here! It's been 22 days since I placed an order. I have no book, no status, & no refund. When you contact the customer service email they say they will "escalate" your request and then nothing.

I have ordered from them 3 times

2-10-26:Edit: I wasn't sure about the books I bought, so I bought the book from the actual publisher and compared the 2. The ones I got from Your Book Stop had slightly different colors for the front cover- The Publisher's book was Navy and Yellow, whereas YBS was purply blue and orangy. The Publisher's had color photos and YBS was black and white. The printed material was identical. I'm disappointed that this was the outcome of my experiment. 11-2-25: I have ordered from them 3 times. Shipping was slow because I ordered in bulk, but I did receive all my books. All of the printing looks good. They seem authentic. There are many people on here saying their items were sketchy, but this has not been my experience. Customer service answers the query immediately, but the final answer takes a little while to show up.

Everything was good

It was great experience with Yourbookstop on purchasing Novel. Delivery was fast but packing tape was torn apart. Other than this, everything was good.

Definitely Sus

I was about to make a purchase on their website, when something felt wrong, so I did some searching. The company appears to be based in India despite claiming to be inside the USA. People have received "offbrand" poor printings of books. Others have complained that when their books did not arrive, getting a refund was completely impossible.I can't say for certain whether or not it is a scam, but there are enough people online claiming to have been scammed to raise the red flag. 🚩

I FINALLY GOT MY BOOKS

I previously wrote a review with my dissatisfaction with the book company. HAPPILY, MY ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED resolved and im now in possession of my books.I recommend the company do better so their customers will be satisfied doing business with them.

Books not authentic

Order #111461 (July 31, 2025).Books from this site are a SCAM. I ordered a book for my MSN nursing program. The book has multiple typos and misspelled words. Wrong pictures and page numbers. INAUTHENTIC. After reading the site reviews, I tried to cancel my order via email an hour after I placed the book. No one responded for a week. Finally someone reached out to me stating that the order could not be cancelled because it was already shipped. Do not buy from this company.

Buyer Beware - Counterfeit Item

Buyer Beware! Read the reviews online but was sent a Counterfeit Box Set of Manga books. The design on the box was literally a Mirror Image of the design on the other side. The box was basic cardboard and did not match any of the dimensions from the official listing. Have tried to contact customer support for 2 weeks now and have not received a response other than "we are escalating it." I believe they may be delaying the process until it is past the 15 days return time. Update: 10/13/25Order number # is 121548Since my original post I have received 2 more emails stating they are escalating it or requesting more information internally.I have called, attempted the chat option via the website (which takes hours for a response) and nothing has been resolved. I have submitted MANY pictures proving my issues and nothing has been resolved.Once again, if you are reading this, BUYER BEWARE. I realize that this may be an isolated incident due to other reviews, but my experience so far has been a nightmare.

Everything was going well with this…

Everything was going well with this company, they had fast shipping and the books came in good condition. I had no issues until I purchased a certain book and it seemed inauthentic. I emailed the support team asking for a letter of authenticity and/or an invoice from their distributor. They assured me that they would send it but have I have yet to receive anything from them. I will gladly retract this bad review once they acknowledge my concerns.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of them…

I’ve been trying to get a hold of them for the last two days cause I ordered two books 5 days ago and I paid for expedited shipping and I’ve emailed them and I still haven’t got a response from this company. I needed my textbooks by today because I have class on Monday And both phone numbers you call nobody answers and nobody’s emailed me back. Does anybody have another number to get a hold of these people cause I need my books I paid. I expect my service.

Not reliable

Ordered 2 books. 1 of 2 came. Got charged for both. Getting in contact with someone was a pain. I kept calling and finally someone with a heavy Indian accent answered, and it sounded like he was on his cell phone. Really sketchy.

Do not buy! Fraud! Will not refund!

Do not buy from here! The books arrived damaged (look used). The company is in the united states but the books shipped from India and return shipping (which the buyer is responsible for) is hundreds of dollars back to India. They wouldn’t even accept a return because of damages. The books were definitely shipped in used condition even though I ordered them new. I had to dispute their charge with my credit card company. The company seems fradulant! The info on their website can’t be confirmed and they will not refund your money. I ordered a total of $792.50 worth of new books from them. They were all scratched up, bent, printing was spotty, some were bent, and some identification numbers didn't match the listing. The company only admitted to possible printing error but wouldn't admit to sending used books as new even though photos were provided. UPDATE: I won my dispute case with the credit card company because I provided evidence these books were not new or as described.
