My solar system stopped working and now…
My solar system stopped working and now I can't get in contact with them. (Called for months and emailed them)Use another solar company if you don't want future headaches. I had issues with YSG for years, especially with the passing of permits and things related to the DOB. (Took a whole year and prob would not have been done if i did not get involved with numerous contacts to the DOB) My consumption meter stopped working a year ago and they refused to fix it, they offered to send me a check to have someone else fix it but it's been a year and still no check with multiple follow ups. Now my solar panels are no longer working and I am stuck with no support. I'm a person that never likes to leave a bad review, because i don't believe in reputation shaming. But YSG definetly deserves the 1 star. Stay away from YSG. Wish I never did business with them. NO INTEGRITY WHATSOEVER.

SONNEN BATTERY not installed even after taking thousands of dollars in payment
YSG solar has engaged in mis representing themselves as qualified SONNEN BACK UP BATTERY installers. the fact is, YSG SOLAR hires unqualified people, resort to lies and don't fulfil their end of responsibilities. I have lost thousands of dollars, experienced agony and no results. Please... please I urge you to not do any business with YSG SOLAR or you will go through same type of heartache.

Do Not Use
Once they get paid forget about getting in touch with them. Don't take my word for it try calling their main line and see for yourself. If you have an issue contact the New York Attorney General, DWCP, BBB and financing company.

YSG / Alpha solar is the worst company…
YSG / Alpha solar is the worst company to do business with. They will send you emails that they are moving your project along which is a lie. They will tell you that your project will be completed by X date which is another lie. They will not pull the necessary permit, which is the honest TRUTH, how do I know? My myself along with 6 of my neighbors have been waiting to have our installation completed for months and we only receive the run around from YSG / Alpha solar.P.S. the office address listed in NYC is not accurate

Great Company
For the past two years I have been saving and question I have they always answer. I don't regret this decision I made by switching to solar panels. Customer service was a great experience and easy people to work with.

I got ysg to install my Lg solar panels about a year ago. I have no complaints what so ever and I highly recommend to any one who would like to save on their electrical bill. The customer service was very efficient and professional from start to finish.

You Save Green solar has been the best choice I made. The Installation process was smooth. The staff was very respectful and very professional. I Highly recommend them if you want to save green.

You Save Green installed my equipment in my home in Babylon, Long Island 6 months ago and I have not had any problem to date. Everyone should really consider doing the same with YSG. It has been extremely financially affordable. Hands down no regrets at all!!!

WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS…
WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY!!! LOOK AT MY SCREENSHOTS!!! You're going to get stuck paying for a system that doesn't work I can promise you that! My solar system has been in need of repair since March 2022 (now August 30th 2022). Pigeons even made a home under the solar equipment installed on the roof because the technicians improperly installed the critter guards. I have a long email of back and forth to prove my claim and of course the long history report of my actual solar system. YSG Solar IS A SCAM! Here's a few examples of the many outrageous excuses to not come out and repair my warranted system: *MAY 31, 2022* FROM: Chelsea Watson-Operations ManagerHi Ashek,Our crew lead just came back after losing a baby and we are working on scheduling all of our service visits now, I will send you a date asap for when they can come troubleshoot. Thanks for following up, we can hopefully get someone there in the next 10ish days. *JULY 21, 2022*FROM: Chelsea Watson-Operations Manager "I'm really sorry to hear about the pigeons. I wasn't aware that the critter guards were left off, I will make sure the crew clears the pigeon homes out and replaces the critter guards when they come to reset the rapid shutdown. Our crew lives together in a big dorm and all have Covid for the second time this year. As soon as they come back, your home will be the first that I send them to. Thank you for being understanding, I realize this can be very frustrating. I look forward to wrapping this up for you."

YSG installed my rooftop Solar 8 months…
YSG installed my rooftop Solar 8 months ago in the 1st week of November 2021, but not hooked up to the CON ED grid yet. For about 8 months we have been waiting and no update/ and no response to my emails and phone calls the last several months. Very unfortunate. Installation was prompt; Ken and Chelsea were very cooperative and always available. I contacted ConEdison about our project (case #587730). The caseworker Ms. Johnson was very nice; said YSG did not sign off yet. I am really worried I was scammed by YSG? Also worried they changed the name of the company to Alpha Solar. Are they planning to dump YSG Customers? So many complaints against them on BBB. I am really worried if I do not get a satisfactory explanation why my solar project #MC-587730 for Service Address ...., Bellerose, NY 11426. Con Edison wrote"Hi David Magid,The final documents have been pending for a few months now. Please submit as soon as possible, and provide the current status of the project". Unfortunately, I haven't received any answer yet, since this correspondence several weeks ago.

Way to go YSG and THANK YOU CHELSEA
One word Chelsea! You did an amazing job with our solar panel project. We signed a contract about 2 months ago and my partner and I had a lot of questions and concerns (our first home). We had lots of construction at the home and had questionable experiences with our flooring company ( a story for another day) and the solar project was next so we had a bit skeptical. Chelsea was able to answer all of our questions and even was kind enough to allow us to text her, and sometimes even into the late hours of the night, which we thought was so nice of her. My last electric bill was $23 from ConEdison. The solar panels are all black solar panels and they make our house just amazing! Way to go YSG and THANK YOU CHELSEA

Great and seamless experience!
Signed up for Community Solar with YSG Solar. Their staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. One of the easiest things I have signed up for. They help me save 10% off my electric bill as a renter in NYC. No brainer. I highly recommend YSG Solar.
