Accessories4less shipped a refurbished…

Accessories4less shipped a refurbished receiver that was not in working order. Dealt with an extremely rude person, Jeff G. Did not receive full refund back on the defective unit. Would not recommend doing business with this business.

“I Ignored the 1-Star Reviews — Now I’m Out of Over $130.00+"I would not recommend Accessories4Less for big-ticket items like AV receivers or anything else. Their prices look attractive, but the return policy is very unfriendly. The website's condition section for the unit I purchased reads "you might even get something better than new" — thoroughly cleaned, tested, and renewed to original condition", that "Yamaha product undergoes such close scrutiny" and "Yamaha's refurbished mean “as new.” This is far from the truth because the a/v receiver I received was defective and showed signs of wear. I started the return process and talked to Austin on the phone. He said they’ll check the unit out to determine if it’s a defect, and promise no restocking fee if it is' yet when I returned it I still ended up losing over $130 in shipping and restocking fees. Other customers have had similar experiences and lost more.They don’t send defective items back to the manufacturer — instead, they inspect and test them in-house. they don't use certified technicians, therefore it's impossible for them to properly diagnosed the unit to issue a refund as fast as they issued my reduced refund. In reality, you’ll be charged fees regardless if it’s defective or not and the next customer may get that defective unit. If they decide it’s not defective, you will pay return shipping both ways(yes, they will deduct/charge you for the initial free shipping plus you have to pay the fee to return it) plus a 10–15% restocking fee, even if the product arrived in poor condition. AVRs are heavy, so the costs add up quickly. With a return policy like this, it’s clear Accessories4Less does not want or care about having returning customers. It literally has scam-like tendencies. Buying from Accessories4less is a gamble. Okay if you’re 100% sure you’ll keep the item, but extremely risky if there’s a chance you’ll need to return it. . I’d recommend going with places like Crutchfield, Amazon (direct), or Best Buy, where return policies are far more customer-friendly.Bottom line: The discount is not worth the risk. Just don't.

Purchased a definitive technology…

Purchased a definitive technology subwoofer. I chatted with customer service pre purchase and they assured me it was compatible with my soundbar. I received the subwoofer and it wouldn’t pair to my system. I don’t know if the part was bad or just not compatible with my system. I asked for a refund which they approved after a couple days. Original part was $100 with free shipping. In order to return I had to pay shipping both ways and a restock fee. In the end, it was going to cost me $95 to return. Buyer beware! I called customer service when I realized the cost of shipping and they didn’t take my call or return my call. I would definitely not recommend purchasing from them!!!!!

Defective or not there is no return policy

I ordered a Yamaha as2200 on Feb 22. It arrived with the volume control floating in the box and the entire volume control shaft was loose. I emailed them immediately, they came up with different excuses and delays until 30 days passed and then told me oh well tough luck. I also bough some kef r7 metas which did arrive unscathed. I am fortunate that I can handle a 3k loss. I would be careful as soon as you buy from them its yours no matter what, so it's a gamble. Do you feel lucky?

Customer service | A real person¿

There was a time when could talk to customer service. I've been a customer with Acessories4less for over 20 years I've only experienced one maybe two small issues that I deemed unpleasant.I would be extremely cautious in purchasing some of there products.

Multiple Purchases - All 5 Stars

I have made multiple purchases from Accessories4Less for nearly 10 years; Focal Bookshelf Speaker Pair (new), Canton Bookshelf Speaker Pair (new), 2 Pro-Ject Turntables (new), Klipsch Bookshelf Speakers (Refurbished), and Marantz AVR Receiver (Factory Certified). All products have been new or appeared new (the refurb and the factory certified). They have all functioned perfectly. Additionally, they ship very fast and usually on the same day as the order. I regularly look at their offerings based upon my experience with them.

It’s a scam

It’s a scam. They do not grade the products (A,B,C, D or stars) and you may get a good one or junk. The first order may be great. But the second might be damaged. Forget about sending it back for a refund. It’s yours now!It is better to buy new on sale or from a reputable company that sells its own refurbished, like Apple.

Never again!!!!! What a nightmare and scam!

First time buying from the site and I was super excited to receive this amplifier, but things didn't go as planned. I had a Denon AVR-X6700H before that I sold, and I wanted something new. I set it up as soon as it arrived and everything worked...except when I turned on my TV. I first thought that I had a defective HDMI cable, so I ended up buying 6 different cables and none of them fixed the problem. I contacted customer service, but they were careless and provided useless advice. I decided to hire an audio expert who came to my house to help me solve the problem but he failed at making it work too! I requested a return and much to my surprise I was told that They won't reimburse me the full amount because they have to deduct the shipping they paid to send it to me ( never heard of such a policy) , and on top of that they will apply a restocking fee of 10%. Of course, I have to pay for the shipping to send it back to them. But the icing on the cake was their response when I complained about their way of doing things. The customer service agent told me and I am literally copying and pasting his message here:"Samsung TV is the issue. Why not call Samsung and ask them to fix their garbage TV?"I had 2 receivers before buying this Onkyo and I NEVER had a single problem with the sound but it's better to blame Samsung. I will never buy from this site again and I advise everyone to think twice before buying anything on this site because the experience can quickly turn into a nightmare

Bought a Pioneer Elite....works great

Bought a Pioneer Elite....works great. Runs the TV, ROKU and and Music through Bluetooth. Saved $200 from Best Buy's price. Had it for 3 months now....no problems.

False advertising - scumbags

Fake sales! Avoid this company! It’s a vile little tin-pot company who publish bargain deals but cannot honor them. I tried to bend over backwards for them when they demanded utility bills (yes I accept fraud prevention), but I sent way more than needed. After many emails and false claims telling me reasons why they could not recommend the unit or that because I’m British that I “might” take this item to England which would have poor consequences on the device!!!! I ordered a USA device because I live in USA! Enough of the lies! If you cannot sell an item then don’t advertise it! I then got a tirade of abuse and threats. To hide their fake sales they created a fake FedEx shipment which they cancelled a few minutes later with the claim that they had shipped something! I reported them to the Better Business Bureau where they claimed more lies that were so obvious that it just reveals what kind of cheats they are and also shows just how dumb they are in their story telling to even realize! 🤣 What a joke! I’m actually glad that these vile scumbags did at least refund me. After reading the other reviews I think I had a very lucky escape!

Got a great sale price on a Marantz amp…

Got a great sale price on a Marantz amp along with free 3 year service warranty. first experience with refurb gear,but it look brand new and havent had a problem with it yet. Box that it came in was dirty but not beat up at all.

Marantz 8805 from A4L great service!

Bought a Marantz 8805 from A4L. Something messed up in ordering process and it charged me twice for extended warranty. They got right back to me via email support and fixed the issue. Processor shipped promptly and arrived in great condition. Product looked new but was refurb. Saved $1000's. Great experience. Would buy from A4L again.

Placed two orders and all came like new even refurbished items

Placed two orders and for both all items came in 2-3 days, less than expected delivery date. Also my big ticket items (receiver, speakers) were "refurbished" but came in perfect condition like new. Small speakers, cords, and mounts were packaged with enough padding to stay safe but minimal size boxes and padding necessary (I hate when companies waste boxes and packaging for no reason). AV receiver and subwoofer were just shipped in original box a they had Styrofoam inserts great enough to ship, and they placed an HDMI cable I ordered inside the AV receiver box (was already open box return anyway), something I have never seen done before but I appreciate effort to save packaging waste and $ on shipping. Has the best prices I found anywhere - made an awesome 7.1 setup for less than $500, that would cost at least $1000 elsewhere!

Bad value if you dont like the item

Think long and hard before shopping at Accessories4less. They have great deals on refurbished electronics but if you decide to return a product for any reason other than it being damaged you will be charged shipping fees (the cost to ship it to you plus the cost to ship it back) plus a restocking fee - causing the buyer to lose a lot of $. Stick with Safe and Sound HQ, Amazon or your local HiFi shop for your audio purchases - they have significantly better return policies.

Terrible shopping experience ....

I was very excited when I bought Canton bookshelf speakers but they arrived in severally damaged box so I requested return label to ship them back . That's when problem started , they refused to take them back and threatened me that they will charge me $80 for shipping back and wanted me to open box and inspect them which I did . Bottom edge of speaker was affected by impact and it was damaged . Then they want me to test them to see if they work , I said that I'm not interested in keeping damaged speakers for full price and I'm not going to waste my time and test these speakers unless they offer me discount . Finally after week of email exchanges they offered $50 discount on $400 speakers with damage which I declined . Now all I want is to return them and get my money back so I don't have to deal with this shady company ever again and I advise everyone to do the same and stay as far away as you can or you will be sorry like I'am .

I have bought several receivers and speaker sets through them over the years. All have been manufacturer refurbs and all have performed flawlessly. Highly recommended.
